Great music, great bottled beer, friendly staff and altogether a great little rock bar.
Great music, great bottled beer, friendly staff and altogether a great little rock bar.
Great place to have a couple of beers in a small, crowded place. Especially till 3 am. The music could be a bit more hardcore. :)
Heavy metal heaven with a lot of good history the security is great as well
Nice atmosphere nice beer nice staff nice music nice people good night
One of the best rock/ dive bars in London. Awesome music and service
Great little rock bar in the middle of london. A true oasis of awesomeness!
Great all around, very nice people and very friendly staff, if you wanna get drunk this is the place for ya cheers!
Crobar is AWESOME! Love this place, been going for years. Sometimes you just need to go to Cro, there's nowhere else like it. Their happy hour is very good and there's a good selection of whiskey too.
Small but cosy with good music. Drinks are overpriced tho
Would be 5 star but the juke box swallows your money and plays what it wants
Great metal pub with an excellent beer selection and massive cheap cocktails.
The last of the great rock/metal bars. The service is salty and they have band themed beers in. Great jukebox.
One of the few remaining bars in the area left with any character, since the Cross-Rail development meant sadly tearing down the other historic rock bars nearby (R.I.P. Twelve Bar and the Intrepid Fox - you are sorely missed). You've got to appreciate your rock thrashy and loud at Cro though!
Absolutely love this place the jukebox could do with some more foo fighters and skipknot songs maybe so new albums etc but absolutely great place for a drink.
Amazimg place for a beer and good music at all.
I really recomend you to go there.
This place wins 'The nastiest toilet in London' award. It's amazing the authorities haven't attempted to shut it down.
Cool, very small hard-rock/metal bar next to The Borderline. Attracts a diverse and friendly crowd of many nationalities.
Only been here once but loved it!! Friendly staff, good drinks at good prices, amazing music!! Can t wait to go back! When is it reopening?
Best place in London !!! Small dive bar with awesome staff and even better music and selection of drinks love it
Cool little place with interesting people. Just don't use the toilet.
Metal bar, so expect a good jukebox, turned up loud. Plenty of beer and whisky but tonnes of other booze to keep everyone happy. Can get very busy and boisterous, but that's why you go there.
Perfect bar for people who like good rock. Very good atmosphere
Great small rock bar. They didn't have milk last time I was there though so couldn't have a white Russian :\
Have had many good times here over the years.
Great to find a bar in Soho which is unpretencious and does not play commercial music.
Only reason I have removed one star is that prices forever seem to be increasing! But that is the way in London I guess.
The last rock and roll pub in
London......
Awesome little rock bar around the corner from the theatre district. If you want to hear decent rock music of all sorts, away from the mad crowds of the populist areas, head here! It's a stone throw away from many of the popular tourist traps and does decent beers!
Best place for a good pint or two off the beaten track road just around the corner from one of London most populated areas of transport and tourist. If you love Rock or metal music here is where you need to be. Super relaxed vibe.
Best dive bar in London (or the world for that matter)
Didn't get to stay very long but I quite liked it here. I didn't look particularly grungy but the staff were pretty nice to me and the happy hour deal meant that a friend and I shared a bottle of wine that wasn't mega expensive (although it wasn't the best wine in the world either, obviously, ha!)
My favourite bar in London. Amazing music, great selection of bourbons and awesome bartenders.
It rocks. And the bogs stink of piss, just like they should
It's small and cramped but we were having a decent time. Few of us stepped outside for some fresh air and one my mates wanted some smokes. We asked the "bouncer" where to get smokes, he pointed us right across the road. Gone no more than 10 minutes and when we came back, the same "bouncer" wanted 2 pounds from each of us to go back inside. I guess he saved us from paying anymore for their over priced drinks. We politely explained to him where he could put the 2 pounds and we left.
Quite expensive and didn't live up to my expectations. Felt like a tourist venue rather than a proper rock bar for locals.
Great staff. Good drinks. For a rock bar.. Music sooooo quiet: it's like a polite restaurant on a Saturday. Didn't used to be like this. TURN IT UP!
This bar used to be amazing. It was loud, dark, dingy and a bit sweaty, all the things you'd want from a great rock bar. Things have changed and it felt terribly sterile, the atmosphere was non existent and the drinks were awful and expensive (which is ironic because it was the cheap lemonade that ruined them). Avoid this place.
Best bar in Soho
Great crowd
Great atmosphere
Great times
I've been there today, staff really nice, customers....well, I tried to go out of the pub and 4 of them were blocking me, after a while that I EXCUSED THEM, they let me go, and one of them start to pushed me.
If you like rock/metal is a nice place, except for this inconvenience, even if I saw them the only three times there I've been there, so they are usual customers cause they know the stuff too. Next time I will not think two times before say my word.
Apart that, really nice cozy place for metal lovers.
Nice Club, decent rock music, cool place with great people
Lovely bar for the metal lovers. Very cosy can get a bit noisy
I enjoyed my time there. Good selection of music in the jukebox. Overpriced drinks and pay-per-play music. These guys must be raking it in.
If you are into Heavy Metal and Rock this is the place for you.
Good fun, but the songs we chose on the jukebox never played. It was also a bit too packed towards the bar
Legendary. Not much else to say other than time it for happy hour (which is more like 3 hours)
It's one of the best metal bars in London. Good selection of alcohol. Jukebox is a plus. Full of great people who go there to enjoy their music and just have a good time.
I was wondering around SOHO with a friend and we just happened upon this place. Front marquee says "Beer & Whiskey - Rock & Roll". Sign me up ! Walked in to Pantera on the jukebox, tall boys for a cheap price & regulars head banging. Place is rad. I will go there every time I am in London.
Brilliant, authentic, no-frills rock and metal pub.
Just don't ask about the toilets
Wish it was bigger, but a great place to go if you want to hear some old school metal with cheap beers.
Rubbish! Meant to be a rock bar/club!
Tiny place, no pints, only over-priced bottles. Coca Cola was out of a tap and was watered down. It's only its Soho address that's keeping it open.
It would last 3-4 weeks in your average English Town.
Awesome little rock/metal bar not too far from all the tourist traps! It's only small, but has pretty much everything you'd want from a metal bar, booze and a decent jukebox!
Good music. Waiters a little dry
Offer on some beer
recommendable
Easily the best rock bar in London town - a proper dive bar !
If I'm in town and looking to sink a couple of drinks. This is the only place I go. Great music cheap booze. What else do you want.
I've got some interesting retorts. This is where I met the craken and a lovely girl
Disappointed that there doesn't appear to be live music here anymore, not quite what they advertise
Good old fashioned metal bar. Good selection of bourbon and beers. Cracking jukebox.
Metal jukebox. Beer served in cans. Accept no substitutes.
One of few dedicated rock bars in London. You won't hear any chart music here and it's a refreshing change from the other local options. Super friendly crowd with few major issues apart from trying to find a seat if you arrive late. Shots are expensive but the choices available are vast. Grab your leathers and prepare to headbang and have fun.
