Crobar is AWESOME! Love this place, been going for years. Sometimes you just need to go to Cro, there's nowhere else like it. Their happy hour is very good and there's a good selection of whiskey too.

One of the few remaining bars in the area left with any character, since the Cross-Rail development meant sadly tearing down the other historic rock bars nearby (R.I.P. Twelve Bar and the Intrepid Fox - you are sorely missed). You've got to appreciate your rock thrashy and loud at Cro though!

Have had many good times here over the years.
Great to find a bar in Soho which is unpretencious and does not play commercial music.
Only reason I have removed one star is that prices forever seem to be increasing! But that is the way in London I guess.

Awesome little rock bar around the corner from the theatre district. If you want to hear decent rock music of all sorts, away from the mad crowds of the populist areas, head here! It's a stone throw away from many of the popular tourist traps and does decent beers!

Best place for a good pint or two off the beaten track road just around the corner from one of London most populated areas of transport and tourist. If you love Rock or metal music here is where you need to be. Super relaxed vibe.

Didn't get to stay very long but I quite liked it here. I didn't look particularly grungy but the staff were pretty nice to me and the happy hour deal meant that a friend and I shared a bottle of wine that wasn't mega expensive (although it wasn't the best wine in the world either, obviously, ha!)

It's small and cramped but we were having a decent time. Few of us stepped outside for some fresh air and one my mates wanted some smokes. We asked the "bouncer" where to get smokes, he pointed us right across the road. Gone no more than 10 minutes and when we came back, the same "bouncer" wanted 2 pounds from each of us to go back inside. I guess he saved us from paying anymore for their over priced drinks. We politely explained to him where he could put the 2 pounds and we left.

This bar used to be amazing. It was loud, dark, dingy and a bit sweaty, all the things you'd want from a great rock bar. Things have changed and it felt terribly sterile, the atmosphere was non existent and the drinks were awful and expensive (which is ironic because it was the cheap lemonade that ruined them). Avoid this place.

I've been there today, staff really nice, customers....well, I tried to go out of the pub and 4 of them were blocking me, after a while that I EXCUSED THEM, they let me go, and one of them start to pushed me.
If you like rock/metal is a nice place, except for this inconvenience, even if I saw them the only three times there I've been there, so they are usual customers cause they know the stuff too. Next time I will not think two times before say my word.
Apart that, really nice cozy place for metal lovers.

I was wondering around SOHO with a friend and we just happened upon this place. Front marquee says "Beer & Whiskey - Rock & Roll". Sign me up ! Walked in to Pantera on the jukebox, tall boys for a cheap price & regulars head banging. Place is rad. I will go there every time I am in London.

Rubbish! Meant to be a rock bar/club!

Rubbish! Meant to be a rock bar/club!
Tiny place, no pints, only over-priced bottles. Coca Cola was out of a tap and was watered down. It's only its Soho address that's keeping it open.
It would last 3-4 weeks in your average English Town.

One of few dedicated rock bars in London. You won't hear any chart music here and it's a refreshing change from the other local options. Super friendly crowd with few major issues apart from trying to find a seat if you arrive late. Shots are expensive but the choices available are vast. Grab your leathers and prepare to headbang and have fun.
