Rented an apartment in a city with a reputation for being fabulous from a landlord of this association. The apartment had water damage stemming from a hole and other damage in the roof. When repairs were requested, maintenance would just paint over the water damage instead of fixing the hole, which led to more water damage over the course of the year and probably mold.
The locks still said ACO on them.
Other requests for maintenance, like trim falling off the house to be put back on, were ignored.
Please be aware and do thorough inspections of properties being rented and sold by this company.
This realtor rents out homes under deplorable conditions and without proper landlord licensing. He also unexpectedly turns off utilities on paying tenants. Shame on you!
I have absolutely nothing nice to say about Matt Allen or the home (1780 Woodgrove Lane., Bloomfield, MI 48302) he rented to my family (2 small children) and me. We recently relocated to Bloomfield, MI from Fargo, ND. The house was disgusting inside and out. We immediately got sick from the mold. It was found in the air ducts, under the sink and on the walls. Spent $4,700+in cleaning. Had to have our belongings stored instead of delivered $3000+. Also had to contact Mold inspecter (MIT) $500+. Matt was brash, cocky, and arrogant. Actually asked me where I was going to go and what could I really do. Hire a good lawyer and get out of there is what I did. My advice, avoid Matt Allen and anything he has to offer. Not a quality person!
