Cracker Barrel Review

Love the store, the employees are super friendly and the store has everything from amazing snacks to cute decor, highly recommend coming here too eat or shop.. If you do decide to eat try the new chicken and the apple dumpling

This posting is covering multiple visits.
We've noticed a most definite decline in the food quality, and portion sizes served us over the last several visits at multiple Cracker Barrel locations. Considering the prices charged for meals, there is no excuse for the tiny portions we've been served, especially noticeable on our last two visits. And, absolutely NO excuse for cold food. These were all breakfasts.
It is particularly disappointing that Cracker Barrel's home office is in Lebanon, TN which is where we live, and we were served the worst meal yet there.
I also would like to note, at a recent visit to the Charlotte Ave Nashville location, as we were finishing our meal a man with TWO VERY LARGE DOGS was allowed to come in the dining area. I noticed that he strolled in VERY SLOWLY with a HUGE SMIRK on his face.
I questioned the staff about this, and they stated that due to ADA laws they weren't allowed to question customers with "service animals". I told them that no way, no how were those "service animals" as no one has TWO, and neither one carried any service animal markings. They said regardless, they weren't allowed to question customers with animals.
We won't be eating at Cracker Barrel any longer.

I like the Food & the waiter was Nice. But we was a Group of 25 & they seated us all in different areas. & they gave tables to other people instead of seating our Group in the same area. We Are Very upset!! Next time we will take our Group elsewhere!!

I ordered the Country Fried Steak and it was great . The food was hot and fresh. I had dumplings fries and corn for sides.

Waited 15 mins. For a waitress.
Worse Chili I have ever had....y'all need a new receip....not even pkg. Of crackers came with it.

My favorite place to eat. Gravy & biscuits are fantastic.

Good old school hot and brown plenty of it style eating.

Excellent service and food. Pat was great as always.

Great service and good food tonight. The hostess the server and the cashier were all very pleasant and accommodating. Especially the server who checked back with us several times...and also got me a fresh ice tea to go. The chicken and dumplings were yummy.

Service was great! Logan was very sweet and kept our drinks filled! Hot fresh biscuits, eggs and macaroni and cheese! Sweet tea was delicious!

you want breakfast for dinner or if you love country cooking this is the place to go, good deserts and family friendly.

My favorite breakfast place or anytime place!!!

Awesome Cokeacola cake, that I actually purchased a whole cake for Thanksgiving, bc I was running late on all my cooking~ Nobody knew that I did not make it MYSELF!!
Until end of evening I came clean and told ALL my family!! Haha

WAS THERE LAST Saturday for My one sisters BIRTHDAY ! Our service WAS awesome as ALWAYS.....
I was late or last one get there BUT I ALREADY KNEW WHAT I WAS ORDERING..... THAT AMAZING CHICKEN SALAD!!
The waitress informed me they no more SERVE IT!! Whatttttt???? Ohhh what a bummer!
SOOO IF YOUR EVER LOOKING FOR SOME REALLY GOOD CHICKEN SALAD..... SAMMY B's HAS THE BEST OF THE BEST.... THEN JERSEY MIKE'S AND THEN CHICKFILET.
BUT I CAN'T THINK OF WHY OHH WHY THEY STOPPED SERVING IT..... I'D ALWAYS GO CB for my delish Chicken Salad.....=(
Do to that I had given yall a 5 star but took it to a 4 bc my beloved chicken salad...

Our waitress was the most roudest person ever. She got all our tickets messed upand cause the company to loss money and respect for a family oriented place.

Quick service hot food. Arrived shortly after a charter bus and was still seated quickly.

Country food in the country. Great southern service, affordable food. Beautiful gift shop.

Always nice to have a Cracker Barrel to exit the interstate for. I like the consistency of Cracker Barrel and the Lebanon location had good service and food quality.

service was great, had the Uncle Hershels favorite breakfast. all was good, but the grilled pork chop was a bit dry.

Stopped in for a gift certificate. Love that they have so many options. Some of
them are a little pricey though.

Shirley is the most rude person there if she would get the hair off her ears maybe she would hear me and she ain t gotta be rude when I ask her to fix it been waiting almost and hour and now she s making me wait longer for her mess up wouldn t recommend to anyone if she s working

Service was slow and getting a to go order was ridiculous! Order at front counter, go to wait, then go back and pay and go to another table to pick up food!

Everything came out better than usual this visit! :-)

Good food, efficient, friendly waitress, very nice cashier.

I was picking up Dachshund's for All American Daschund Rescue here. From what i could see the place was well kept. The outside looked invititng.

Setted as soon as we arrived, server was there with in two minutes, food was delicious.

Love cracker barrel! Great for groups, couples or alone. Food always good.

When I'm close to a Cracker Barrel Resturant, I try my best to stop in and have breakfast. I went to the one in Lebanon, Tennessee on South Cumberland Street to get take out when we lived there. But we're back in Counce, TN. now so I'm going to Janes Diner and occasionally Subway or Redwood Hut. They are all excellent places to get "GOOD FOOD"!

Menu dishes that are deliciously different than what you usually find @ American restaurants. The unique store items make Cracker Barrel even better

Reliable food and service, you pretty much always know what to expect.

This is my favorite cracker barrel store. I have never had a bad meal and the staff is warm and welcoming.

The store somehow dodged the tornado and was fairly empty when I arrived (corona fears?) but I received exemplary service and primo food.
The comfort of the food was a much needed break from the past weeks and I enjoyed every morsel.

Pancakes was amazing as always (the best) and everything else was great including the service.

I got my favorite the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes with brown gravy, harsh brown casserole, & friend apples. Yum

The silverware was filthy and the second set I requested was filthy also. The waitress was rude and brought me plastic silverware which was insulting. The eggs were cold and not the way I wanted them and the ham was cold also. The biscuits were delicious and the grits were good. I got mashed potatoes instead of hashbrowns. Rebecca was very nice. It was crowded and I left after I ate.

Not the best breakfast place in my opinion, but their lunch/dinner menu is great! Try the homestyle chicken! Actually, try any of their chicken. Very fresh and you can tell it's not just some frozen food you can get from anywhere else.

We were greeted when we walked in & were seated promptly. Even though it seemed busy our waitress stopped by in minutes to greet us & take our order

Service is almost always great. Not a fan of the close seating.

Great Food, Good Service and a comfortable Dining IN experience!!

The sirloin steak was an excellent cut of meat. Grilled to perfection just as I had asked. Generous portion for the price. Large fresh house salad. Great baked potatoe. Cornbread muffins like my Mother used to make. Rivals any meal I have ever had at the more expensive Steak Houses. I'll be back for sure.

This is the flagship store of CB, but they can't even get the DC-fast charger working for all they future EV drivers
