Coyote Cafe Review

My burrito was pretty good. Just don't order the "Mexican pasta" thing. It was obviously microwaved (the spaghetti pieces were dry and transparent, like they've been microwaved several times.) The other things were good but not mind-blowing. The decor is nice inside and I'd probably go more often if I lived closer.

The family taco pack was absolutely delicious! Especially the chips and queso. My kids are that so fast! The tacos were awesome too! Highly recommend!

Super tasty food, everything is really unique and the server said they make everything in house, which I always appreciate. It can get busy sometimes, but food usually comes out quick and hot. Service is always really good too. My friend had her bday party here last year and we got make your own tacos and a personal bar in the side room, which was really cool.

Friendly staff, quality food, tasty drinks. We had a rugby banquet here and they accommodated 50 people no problem. Large servings if you are just grabbing a bite to eat.

We had the best experience ever using their food truck for our wedding. Everything went smoothly, from scheduling the truck to the actual event! Super star customer service! The food was delicious! We had several vegan guests that they provided food options for. Our guests raved about the food and the fun guys who ran the truck! Highly recommend!

Good food , good times, don't know where the microwave comments came from. I'm a frequent customer and never had a problem .

Love there food it great hot and very quick. It's about the only place I go too for my burritos.

Hostess didn't seem to know what was going on. We and about10 other customers were waiting to be seated and there were tables available.

Really decent selection of liquor and beer on hand. Food was very good. Nice party room off to the side of the main bar. Staff was friendly and bartenders knew their trade. A little pricey for my tastes but not for the area. We will visit again.

Great place for lunch or dinner. The menu is always impressive and food is awesome. I also like the atmosphere.

Waited 10 min to be served at the bar, and watched my food get cold sitting in the kitchen for 15 min after the cooked dinged the bell.

Nice place needs to be a little more kito friendly but did well to accommodate

We went here with a $20 gift certificate we won. When we were seated, the waitress asked if we wanted salsa and chips. We said sure. She never told us there was a charge for them. $1.75 for chips and $1.25 for salsa. The chips were delicious, warmed and slightly salty, just the way I like them. However, we probably wouldn't have ordered them knowing there was a charge because we were getting dinner and it was just a lot of food.
Bottled beer was on special, so we ordered one each. We each ordered Dinner Street Tacos with Spanish Rice and Black Beans. My husband thought it was great. I thought it was ok (I am more of a quesadilla fan and should have known that).
The service was beyond a doubt exceptional! Our server, Hailey, was fantastic! She was attentive and friendly.

Didn't eat here but was there for a little show late at night. Nice scene good location for all the attention this place grabs I thought it would be a tad bit bigger. Nice people behind the bar . 4 stars primarily based on I haven't ate there and foods the #1 am I right? Hahaha

Spent 768 dollars and Ordered food for 60 people. I even paid extra for a third meat with this catering service. Only received enough food for 30 people. Received 60 taco shells total so everyone only gets 1 taco? half container of queso I received more sour cream, no banquet set up as far as sterno to keep meat warm. Called and received a follow up text from owners son explaining that they did a portion revision and clearly based on my call it is not enough and offered to help me in the future if I order again. No way will I ever. We had to run and get chicken and order pizzas. Terrible terrible service. Asked for owner to call me and he did while I was at work. Called back and no answer yet. Do not do it for large parties!!!!! I had to ask family not to eat. It was awful.

Um.....yummmmm. Everything is really, really good. Great atmosphere, kind staff. Very happy. We will be back!

Great experience ordering the taco pack to go. Definitely want to try one of their other packs next time. Quick and easy dinner option for sure.

Service was horrible.. chips where stale...asked for fresh chips...again stale. Waitress didn't bring my side order of flour tortillas Don't think I will be back again...thats a shame...place used to be real good !!

My daughter s wedding was catered by Coyote Cafe. (I know, I thought that at first too!) The food was wonderful. Everybody was remarking on how delicious everything was!

The food was served cold, was the most boring flavor Mexican food I've ever had, overpriced or what you got, servers were inattentive

I called to place an order the girl who answered told me they were trying something new, put me on hold longer and then said its now past 730 so she wasn't sure if they would take my order now.
They are open until 10pm .
Turning down business is what is new for them.
As per the owner the girl said. Good thing I was a loyal customer. Key word here is WAS

Coyote Cafe never disappoints! Been a patron for 25 years and never had a bad meal. Hope to be there for another 25!!!

The free salsa is terrible and has a weird texture like ketchup or chef boyardee ravioli sauce. The shredded beef in my burrito was dry and didn't have much flavor. Nothing tasted fresh to me. Would not return.

A different place to go get dinner or just a drink. Casual spot on the main drag. Drinks are good, food is fresh... no conplaints

Everything was fantastic; zero complaints. Very generous portions, excellent taste, waitress/bartender was very nice and checked on us regularly. Definitely recommended!

This place has a fun and great atmosphere, very fiesta like! Haven t eaten there for dinner, but we get family pack take out for TACO TUESDAYS (on any day, naturally). The back bar is also fun and lively at night, had beers their with friends and played darts. Good service, and 4 star Mexican food, not the best or truly authentic but good enough for repeat orders for sure!

Habanero sauce is no joke. The menu at this place has improved a lot over the years. If you haven't had it in awhile, like us, I recommend giving it another chance.

Had an amazing dinner here! The chips they bring when you first sit were warm and perfectly salted, and the salsa was delicious. I had the chimichanga with braised chicken and queso, which was fantastic. The perfect amount of crunchiness, with superb flavor. The Mexican potatoes were fantastic, as was the sopa. My mom had the street tacos and was equally impressed. It's quite dark, and oddly lit, and the service was pretty slow. But it was absolutely worth the wait! I haven't been here in years, but will be back soon after this incredible meal!

I wasn't a fan before and left a 2 star review but coming back has definitely been better. I've been digging the happy hour menu and drinks. Also steak fajitas are my favorite. I do like a hotter salsa but that's hard to come by with Americanized Mexican cuisine.

So this place used to be one of my favorite places to go while my husband and I were dating, as he was a very picky eater at the time. We happened to be headed through the area and thought how nice it would be to get takeout from here and watch the sun set from home. The last two times we ate there we'd had a few issues with our meals and we decided the last time it wasn't worth the cost increase they'd introduced, so we stopped going. This was almost 2 years ago. And after today's experience with the updated menu and yet another price increase since then, I doubt we will go to eat here again.

I love chimichangas, all crispy and deliciously slathered in queso. To me it was a new item from what I was used to getting and it had glowing reviews from several people online so I thought I'd give it a shot. This one was not crisp anywhere, and the "queso" looked and tasted as if it were simply processed nacho cheese from a can mixed with a red sauce or salsa for some flavor. As for the Fajitas my husband got, there were 8 thinly sliced strips of Chicken that probably amounted to half of a breast at best over maybe a third of a onion and half of a green pepper. Even with the "fresh" veggies, guacamole and salads (both of which were so salty to our taste buds we couldn't eat them), it was in no way worth the $19 we were charged for his dinner alone. Bill for 2 entres without drinks -takeout- was almost $38, and the worst part is that our meals didn't come with chips or salsa because apparently they charge for those if you do takeout!!!! This is the only Mexican restaurant I have ever heard of who doing this.

The one and only redeeming quality of our meals were the sopa and the potatoes, our favorite sides. While also salted, the amount of spices helped balance it out. Other than that, both of us agreed there were too many negatives this time to overlook. We will not be back.

This was the first restaurant I ate at after going six months without solid food because of an illness. The fish tacos are such a delight I just revel thinking about them!

We have gone back a couple more times since and every time the food is fantastic and the service is great! I think the server's name was Tabatha and she was fantastic!
