Meh, food was good not great for the money i certainly expect top notch. Salsa served with chips was weak, I've had better store bought. Limited menu, don't expect your traditional Mexican full menu though there is something for everyone. They list a handful of specialties and entrees with a list of appetizers. Could be very good, certainly see the potential but at least on our visit I wasn't impressed and I thought I would be as they've been in business for years. I'd give them another chance if in the area.....Coyote Cafe please step up your salsa and condiments at the table it would go along way! Have never been to a Mexican restaurant where Frank's hot sauce was the only hot sauce available.

Yum

Love love love this place. This is awesome Mexican and the staff couldn't be any better at making sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. We make the drive specifically for this restaurant.

I shared the happy hour special ... a margarita tower, bucket of 5 bottles of beer, 8 tacos, 12 quesadillas, loaded nachos, tortillas and salsa...with 12 ppl and still brought home leftovers!! Loved it, am planning the next one already!!

I'm no Mexican food expert but the food is pretty good here. I usually have enough for leftovers the next day too. Bar is pretty decent good atmosphere if you're into the that kind of theme. Service is sometimes slow but it's only that way maybe 1 out of 5 times for me.

I would consider this gourmet Mexican. They have an ever changing menu here with original items. A small but decent craft beer selection as well as cocktails. The service is exceptional. The prices are average. They also have a separate bar area.

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was even better! Our waitress Hailey was beyond friendly and made sure we got everything we wanted. If you ever go there ask for Hailey! You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this place, great food, great service, and an unforgettable time. 10/10

My husband and I love coyote cafe! We always have great service when we go there and the food is always great and very well presented! But yesterday we went there and didn t have such a great experience. My husband ordered the burritos and had chosen to have the hot sauce on top, but was sooo extremely hot ( in flavor ) that he couldn t even eat his meal, so he simply pushed it to the side and I split my meal with him. Our waitress never questioned or asked how everything was, and I know with being a waitress myself that s just something you do especially when you see someone s meal pushed aside. She came and cleared our plates and I said yea his was to hot to even enjoy, and the only response we got was oh okay. - took the plates and walked away... Never was offered something else in replace or even taken off the bill. I understand that s what he ordered and what you order is what you get, but if someone doesn t enjoy their meal it s just common sense as a waitress to ALWAYS offer something else. Food is pricey these days and with paying 56 dollars for a meal plus tip, which honestly wasn t even deserved at that point, you would think we would of been offered something. Don t get me wrong we love your establishment and most definitely will be back, but this was just an experience that was really frustrating.

My previous experience for a drink and appetizers on the patio was just fine.

Last night I had some out of town visitors and suggested Coyote Cafe for dinner.
Horrible idea. The menu stated "grilled" fish taco. Pointing to the menu, the waitress confirmed that's what it was before we ordered. After a wait, fried fish taco's arrived. We pointed to the menu to confirm indeed it did say "grilled". (the on-line menu says battered, but the tabletop menu was grilled) An apologetic waitress took them back. So we were left with nondescript lukewarm sides while waiting for replacements. They came, and were grilled.. Two soft shell and one hard shell taco which was dripping with grease...why would we want that if fried fish were a issue? Scrapping the taco filling onto the plate, we ate that and left the shells. I will say they took $10 off the bill, but even that did not sweeten this experience. It is not likely I'd go back again for anything but appetizers and a drink.

The last 2 times my husband and have gone there it seems the quality isnt as good as it used to be. The road dust burrito is now $18.50 and I've had better at La Toteca. Not sure if their under different management?

I have been here before around 7 months ago and the food was decent for the price. However, with this last visit, nothing on the plate was edible.
The taco shell was burned and crumbled in your hand. The Redford beans were over cooked and had a distinct chemical taste.
Not worth the drive and sadly won t be returning. With the serious lack in good Mexican Cuisine options in WNY, it doesn t take much to succeed and stand out, coyote cafe doesn t do so.

Went to visit after trying it at work for the first time. I've never liked to go out to eat at Mexican restaurants but coyote cafe has change that forever. Great food, good price and awesome service.

I must add I have a picky boyfriend that always has something to say and he had no complaints

Don't look at the menu online and then go in there, expecting your food to look the same. I was looking forward to the Mexican potatoes which are pictured with cheese and sour cream drizzled on them. They came plain. Over-fried potato cubes with a TON of Mexican seasoning on them. The rest of the food was meh. My son ordered a taco salad with chorizo. It didn't taste like sausage, it tasted like ground beef. My chimichanga had pork carnita and was bland. Maybe to make up for the over seasoned potatoes. The service was fine. Our waitress was pleasant and even checked on the potatoes after I asked. We won't be going back.

I've been to the restaurant many times which is always fantastic. But we had coyote cafe cater our wedding and Jeff, the owner contacted me to suggest using their taco truck...which I didn't know they had, and I am so glad we went with it! They showed up early and stayed until everyone was fed with fresh fantastic tacos, burritos, nachos, whatever you wanted! Highly recommend using their truck for big events. They get you fed fast with smiles and even checked up the next day do make sure it went well.

Sometimes we forget about the places we visited long ago, thanks to Jeff I revisited the Coyote Cafe again and I was glad I did! The food was very good and the server was polite and efficient. My date and I had the burritos is various flavors and each was very good. The sauce is unique in its substance being a little thicker than others but full of flavor and spice. The nicest surprise was the homemade tamales on special which were served in corn husk and excellent! Thanks once again Jeff for the prod.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Not only was there over an hour wait, which is understandable for a Saturday, but they neglected to tell us BEFORE WE WAITED THAT LONG, that they were out of frozen margaritas and out of CHEESE. How can you be out of cheese at a Mexican restaurant? They couldn't have went out and bought some? I went out to eat tonight literally just for a frozen margarita and quesadilla and waited over an hour without knowing I couldn't have either. THEN, I ordered a burrito, and received an enchilada. My friends ordered chicken, and received pulled pork. They're lucky we didn't have any allergies. We were very clearly displeased but the waitress never returned to ask how things were and then charged us for EXTRA things on the receipt instead of giving any kind of compensation for everything they were out of. I'm blown away at how terrible this place was. Definitely ruined my entire weekend.
