Wonderful. Did not have to ask for extra of anything because they give you enough of everything in the first place. Very, very good.
We ordered a chimichanga & tacos on tonight 3/20 and we were told we could buy packs because of takeout only. But the waitress failed to tell us they were $36. Waitress never mentioned total or what a pack was. We prepaid on phone. When we showed up, Coyote did not offer to take replace order. She asked me why I wasn t on Facebook. Really? I don t order from Facebook. Terrible wait staff attitude and aptitude. Now me and my husband are eating $93 in food. We bought packs and all We wanted was a chimichanga & tacos. Terrible. Terrible. Girl looked at me and my husband like oh well.
Expecting Tex Mex getting Coyote Cafe makes for a sad evening. Food quality poor.
Recently had a party in their private room. It was incredible!! Everyone raved about the food and the staff went above and beyond!! I can't say enough ! So happy !!
Very poor customer service when calling in for an order.
Love everything I have ever eaten here so far. Tortilla chips and salsa that come to the table first are a little salty but really good and fresh.
Food and service was amazing. The bar was super fun w ok th well made drinks. Bar staff was on point.
Our server was attentive and the food was served quickly. The food was tasty and the portions were large. I'll come here again.
It was terrible food it was cold clumpy rice and chicken taste like trash
You nice place to go for Mexican food. Depending on what you're looking for. The first time we went the food was great. The second time it was just average. Check it out and you be the judge.
Excellent food, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Love it!!!
Great weekend hangout spot. I love their Margaritas!
Traditional taco was the best meal I've had in a while!
Friendly waitress, food good, clean but the music was way to loud and made conversation difficult. Not everyone likes to yell to talk to someone.
Slightly upscale Mexican Restaurant in the heart of Hamburg! Pictured is the double veggie quesadilla, definitely worth getting the double portion! The cocktails are unique and the atmosphere is fun. There is also a back patio used in warmer months.
Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
The best way to eat anything Mexican here; like tacos, is to order the "Green Chilli Sweet-Hot Salsa," and put that on whatever you order. This is a great little secret that makes your dinning experience 1,000 times better!
The BEST steak fajita quesadilla I've ever had.... Oh MY!
Hefty portions, pretty good drinks, nice atmosphere. Also their tortilla chips & salsa are super good.
Really great place. Arrived during last hour of happy hour. A bit crowded and noisy, but we were seated at a stage table. The crowd was quite entertaining. As people would come in you felt like you were in Cheers because everyone would shout out to those coming in. Margaritas were enjoyable as was the food. Fish tacos, chicken fajita, monster burrito, and chicken fingers and fries for the littles.
Typical Americanized Mexican food. Good food at good prices.
Food and drinks are great! Large portions. Refried beans are tasteless however.
Went here for the first time the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Great cantina style food reasonably priced. They also boast a diverse draft selection on tap. The seating was a bit tight if you have issues with personal space. The waitress was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The only reason I give it a four star review is the parking situation.
Best place to eat Mexican food! My absolute favorite. Always great customer service!
This is my second visit and I was disappointed with part of my meal. My first visit was ok but i thought I d give it another try. I ordered the Chimichanga and for the most part was pretty good, but the lettuce was brown and withering which made it somewhat unappetizing. Also the chicken and salsa weren t as flavorful as I d hoped. The Ginger Raspberry Crush Cocktail was excellent though.
I LOVE Mexican food! And Coyote did not disappoint! Friendly wait staff, great food and nice prices. Worth the drive!
Lost a star due to the restaurant looking a tad worn of late...
Very tasty entrees, sides not so much other than the potatoes
Ovwrpriced bland tacos, bland Mexican food and slow service. The only thing I liked here was the drink i. Had and the events. This is not quality Mexican or Tex mex food. Save your money and go to taco Bell because your likely to get better tasting food there.
Good Mexican. Been going there for years and have never been disappointed with all the dishes I have ordered. Love the fajita salad.
Went to Cotote Cafe for a paint night event. They had a nice menu with tacos and quesadillas to snack on and a full bar in the back of the resturant for drinks.Drinks and food were reasonably priced.
The bartender was extreamly rude. We walked up to re bar and she barked "id's" followed by "what do you want" we ordered margaritas which were just a generic prepare mix. Magaritaville. All the servers looked absoltely miserable. I wish I could give it less than a star. None of the good tasted fresh. Never come here. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!
Have ordered from them three times now and every time the food was wrong/took longer than expected.
Not authentic at all.
I pay for the "entertainment book" app and tried to use a coupon for $5 and the manager/ owner would not accept it saying there is fake ones out there. This one was real and you have a very discruntal costomer over $5 very poor business decision!
I had an amazing burrito with chorizo that har just the right sizzle and flavor. Good margaritas too
Always a great experience. The food was delicious. Our waiter, Jaxon was so nice, caring and accommodating.
Food was good but the staff was more interested in being on their phone or chatting with their friends
Why don't we get free nachos and salsa anymore? We had to pay extra. Why aren't daiquiris on the menu anymore? They don't have the mix anymore. The food we got was good. It looked like more waitresses/waiters were needed though.
the only good thing here was the habanero salsa, el canelo and la tolteca are alot better.
Excellent all around. Great staff, very friendly. Good margaritas. Delicious food with good portions . Great chips. Will be back!
I was there with a group of friends and asked to be seated. We didn't order any entrees, but ordered apps and drinks. After an hour we were asked to give up our table because we didn't order food. There was still food on the table and we were allowed to order another round munutes before being asked. It would have been nice to allow us to finish our round and food and not be rushed out of the place.
Used to really like their food. Ordered seafood burritos. What a huge disappointment. A burrito stuffed with fake crab sticks and not much more. Sad performance. How hard is it to offer some seafood of real substance?
We ate at the Coyote Cafe Food Truck at Food Truck Thursdays in Tonowanda. We had chorizo nachos and they we so amazing. These are the best nachos I've had in Buffalo. Hands down. The chorizo was very juicy and flavorful. Staff had really great customer service. Nice portion size for the cost.
eh. I didn't hate it...but I didn't love it either. If I was in the area and wanted Mexican and/or a drink I'd go back but I wouldn't specifically drive out there just for the food. I have been there twice now and this is what I have decided:
PROs
decent food (thou in my opinion it is difficult to mess up Mexican)
good house made tortilla chips
nice large bar area
live music
close to other "attractions"
CONs
sloooooooow service (both times)
decent food (not out standing, just avg. again hard to mess up Mexican)
bland salsa from a jar served with above noted tortilla chips
not pricey...but not reasonable either
I think the front dining area needs a good scrub
** for good Mexican El Canelo and Don Juan's are better**
Great Mexican food. They use Chorizo not the spiced up beef that some people actually think is Mexican. Love the atmosphere too. Favorite Mexican food in all of Western Ny.
Mexican themed restaurant that plays 90s rap and advertises Irish whiskey. None of this restaurant makes sense. Bar tenders completely oblivious wait 20 minutes to get a drink and there was only 10 people at the bar. Also the only entrance to the bar was through the back
Great twist on Mexican food. Peach Sangria hit the spot!
Awesome food and atmosphere we will definitely be back
Horrible service. Ended up walking out. Waited 45 minutes for our taco lunch which never arrived. I could have gone to the store, bought the ingredients and cooked it in less time than it took waiting for our food. It was tacos for crying out loud. They don't take 45 minutes to prepare in any situation! Won't be going back. Never got communicated with about the status of our order during the whole process either. You can't continue to have bad service in the village of Hamburg and expect to stay in business. Don't waste your time or money here.
While food and beer were good the wait staff was terrible. Multiple times the drink orders were wrong. This has been 2 times I have been here and both times there was some issue. 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food was good
