Fabulous beer snd food in a wonderous building with great service
Amazing food and atmosphere and a wonderful brewery! Food is affordable and large portions for family style dining
Visited during the week. Had no problem getting a seat. The staff are very enthusiastic and eager to answer questions. The food is top quaility at respectable price. Burger made in-house is mouthwatering good. The beer suits many types of tastes. I had Shindig glass and was impressed with the flavour of it. I will definitely be back again. The facilities are spotless and gorgeous, far better than I expected. The catwalk view was a bonus after our meal. A true gem in the county. I look forward to the future expansion of their beers across the province.
Inadequate service, long waits for tables, 35 taps and 5 beer options. Most breweries have good beer, cowbell has a beautiful top notch facility and everything else needs work.
Guest taps would solve the beer problem. They could have an experimental series to fill the taps if they couldn t handle propping up others.
No sour, no double or triple hops, no options.
I ve been to almost all the breweries in Ontario. I work in the industry. This place has more potential than any of the others. Unfortunately, my local pub has more beer options and I never there an hour and a half before my food arrives.
Born on third base thought they hit a triple. 1/5
....still waiting for my food. Looks like the next table over got here after us and has already eaten and is leaving now.
This place is amazing. We detoured 50km, based on a recommendayion to eat here. Wow, what a great place.
We RV and this is by far tje nicest, impressive brewery. Actuly it rivals most wine makers digs.
Food, beer, service is 5 stars. Gift shop items are of excelent quality.
Koudos to the owner.
Wonderful experience every time we go there. The food is oh so good and the service is always great. We love it.
Great knowledgable tour, delicious food and beautiful grounds. Great company with deep roots in the community and Canada.
Fantastic food and service... we come from Woodstock and very worth it.
Great food and beer. Friendly knowledgeable staff, lovely atmosphere.
What a fantastic place in the most unlikely location! These guys went all in and created an amazing brewery with a very nice restaurant, located in rural Ontario. Everything is thought through and executed with very high ambition and quality, be it the amazing wooden construction, the brewing setup, the food, the beer... it s a pleasure to look at, to taste and spend time in. Well worth the journey there!
A craft brewery gone tourist destination! Massive place with multiple seating areas (inside and out) and bars. Despite feeling a bit theme park-esque, it's got a good lineups of beer standards and brewery-only one-offs, plus good food (75% sourced in Huron County) and a full bar besides that with a whisky focus. Worth a visit
Wow!
What an interesting place in the middle of no where!!
Amazing beer, fantastic service and great meal, chicken supreme
Can t wait to come back again
Beautiful building, fantastic atmosphere and great food! Love that they had gluten-free options.
You can get enough! #morecowbell! Beer is perfect! Food is great! Spectacular building!
We were late for our reservation, no problem. We were greeted in a friendly manner, advised our table was still available, and once seated I was pleased to see that every table is set up allowing views of both the inside and outside of this gorgeous building.
Kim was fantastic, she noticed I kept wandering around snapping the odd photo, so she advised me that I could roam and take pictures at will, encouraged me even!
She told us about their anniversary beer, open to any questions, Kim was not even our server, yet she took the time to talk about the facility with us.
The food, being this was my first visit all I can do is rave on! My steak was done to perfection, my plate looked incredible! We also ordered the quarter chicken, and again kudos to the chef.
AND for a swag hag like myself, there's a Cowbell store on the way out if you feel like promoting your local brewery... Possibly your favorite brewery.
Staff was very friendly. We were promptly seated and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I found the pork and chicken in the tacos over cooked and fairly dry, but the side dish and the beer was pretty good.
Visiting Cowbell is really truely an event. It's not just a beer tour, but you get to learn about the history of the town of blithe and the people in it, the environmental and economic impact cowbell has on the area, about the cutting edge technology utilized in cowbell's creation, taste some wonderfully tastey and unique variaties of beer, delicious food, and welcoming staff. The beer alone is enough to warrant the drive to visit, but with all of the additional fantastic qualities, it's hard not to visit every weekend. Unlike any brewery tour I've been on in the past!!
Went there a month. Ago. At 230. In afternoon. Hostess. Found. Us a table. Right. Away. From. People. As they. Left took 2 minutes. To have. Table. Cleaned.. Place. Was. Very clean and. No charge. Tour. After. Ordering. Food. 45 minutes. Waiting to have. House salad served burgers. Very good. Only. Problems. Long. Wait for the. Food
Awesome atmosphere and great appetizers. Beautiful. I'll be back!
Everything was fantastic! From the veggie tacos to the chicken supreme. Service was fantastic and attentive. Quite impressed with the facility. Worth the trip on a Sunday afternoon. Bravo!
First time here with the late night menu and it sucked, about a quarter of the size of the normal menu and no burgers at all, was not happy with the experience at all
Double bacon ceasar pizza listed as 22 on menu but actually costs 24 (because the bacon is an implicit extra). Cowbell should review there menu and computer system prices so that they don't inadvertently charge there customers more than what they agreed to pay.
Awesome beer! Beautiful building! Go and check it out you won't disappointed. Went there for lunch on a Saturday.
Great looking space and event venue. Beers are great too-i was surprised by the range of beers this newly opened brewery makes. Wait for a table is very very long.. and could only get 2 of their beers in a can at this time.
Amazing setting!! WOW
Great food!!!
Great service!!!.
Great experience good beer good food wood fired pizza !
We watched a concert here that was very good they had some food available that was delicious. It would have been nice if they had more seats for people to sit and watch because it was hard getting around people to get to the dance floor.
Looks amazing! We are yet to go there to eat but hope to find time to check it out I heard nothing but great things
Amazing staff, great food, incredible food and most of all the best beer I ve tasted.
Excelent service , good food , and the beer wasn't to shabby
Beautiful atmosphere. Staff are very friendly, Food is great!
Hostess bit my head off when I advised her phone was always goi g to answering machine. Was letting her know just incase there was a phone problem. Waitress never advised us of soup or specials and never smiled once. I asked for no pickles because I HATE dill but my burger tasted like dill pickles and I never got my bacon on it either. Bruschetta was a thin slice of bread with a bunch of finely diced tomatoes, no garlic/onion or any other flavoring. Asked for mozzarella cheese instead of the creamed feta and they microwaved it to melt the cheese. My dining partner had the pork burger and it was over cooked and dry. His fries were barely cooked. There were only r other tables (12 people) in the restaurant at that time so it's not like it was busy. A pint of beer and a green tea... all this for $70.... next time I'll go to the Beach Station in Goderich better food and better view.
Excellent experience. Service, atmosphere and food were all wonderful. Will definitely visit again.
Top notch servic, IPA was unreal....ate the grant burger left happy.... There isn't enough stars to rate with.
This place is beautiful! I loved that you can see right inside the kitchen, the menu was broad and delicious, and the beer was crisp and cold! Had a great time!
Amazing food and such a great selection of beer on tap! Will certainly be going back!
Had a lovely time. Its a great venue . Lovely food. Why not 5 stars. Needs better disabled access to upper level. Sslow small elevator. Also soft drinks are expensive. But it is good venue.
Building is awesome - inside and out. Very impressive. Bar wasn't open yet - just passing thru and stopped for a tour.
Have been a handful of times and all have been enjoyable experiences. Great beer and I especially enjoyed the earl grey cake I had for dessert. Service is sometimes slow but always friendly. Go check out the village of Blyth!
Unless you have a reservation don't even bother . Also the staff are rude
Enjoy the drive to the unique Brewery. Great Food and Beer, What more can you want?
They are very rude there.
So to your reply.
And other replys you made to pet owners on how the Ontario legislature does not allow pet in your establishment. But service dogs who is saying we did have service dogs?. But that's besides the point, are you saying because they are dirty, because my dogs are cleaner the someone that goes into your establishment that has a full bread. Have you read what grow in a beard and how dirty they are, so before you start throwing out the Ontario legislature law think about that. Sick your brewery and trust me I will let people know about you and I know a lot of people and bar owners, in my city and surrounding towns in Essex county. Have a great day.
We have always loved Cowbell beer. Placed an order for delivery the other day, and when it was delivered we realized we were mistakenly sent a 24-pack of the wrong kind of beer. We called to let them know, but were happy to keep the type we were sent. We got a call back right away from their customer service manager who let us know they would be sending the correct 24-pack at no cost to us (in addition to the beer we had already been sent). Excellent customer service! We will continue to support this local business however we can!
I love this place. Each time we visit the Ontario West Coast, this brewery is a must! Love their food, desserts and beer. My favourites include the 2019 Almanac Imperial Stout which includes the flavour of espresso coffee and love their beer pie dessert. I've had burgers, chicken sandwiches and macaroni/cheese there. Absolutely fantastic every time! I want them to open up a location in the GTA.
Keg fridge was down, so no draft beer, the only real reason to go is the draft beer and the food doesn't make up for it, the few things I liked in the past are no longer on the menu, their "social distance wrap" is incredibly greasy, not something you would expect with a wrap, not entirely sure what it was my wife ordered, (a dip and chips?) I wouldn't recommend that either, this is likely the last time we'll be here.
WOW!!! Our women hockey team booked the loft at Cowbell and it was an amazing experience, the food was absolutely incredible, and the service by Brittany D was top notch!! Greatly appreciate how much fun she was, and treated us so well. Will definitely be visiting again!
Outstanding food, atmosphere and service. I highly recommend the Wagu burger, the home made bacon jam is unreal good. Plenty of choices for vegetarians and many gluten free options. The pizza is also fabulous. Highly recommend!
Had a great time. Our waitress was amazing and quick. Service was great. The hostess at the door seemed young and a bit disheveled, but the staff were all very curteous. Our meal was delicious and the beer was on point.
Excellent beer choices. Great restaurant with good covid protocol. Brick oven pizza was fabulous. Could easily share between two as it was a large portion for one.
Excellent service knowledgeable staff SuperFood diverse menu which is excellent my only sing a boat cowbell is the fact that you cannot get takeout
Went in for lunch. Was told there was an hour and a half wait for a seat even though we could see seats empty. Also tried making reservations and was given a total run around. Told at front desk to call a number which no one picks up, left a message which was never returned and then told on Facebook to make reservations at the front desk. Will never step foot there again
Incredible. Great beer, great food, fascinating tour.
Unusual to see such a large, clean, friendly place out literally in the middle of nowhere! Truly beautiful. Have to add, it's recommended to reserve in advance, this place gets BUSY!
Amazing brand new state of the art brewery! Came here after tasting their excellent beer and reading up on them. It's worth the drive. They have several session beers that you can't get anywhere else, plus excellent food. This facility would be a perfect place for a wedding or other big event.
From the very first person we encountered to the last, everyone was very polite, professional and informative. The drinks we had were delicious (especially the Sangria and the guy that served it). The set up for no reservation was excellent. They overstated the time we had to wait. The food was delicious and extremely fresh!!! We will definitely be back!!!
Dropped in without a reservation at 2:00 PM mid week in October and didn t think a table for two would be an issue. We were told a 20 min wait which was surprising but due to COVID an limited seating I guess understandable. We were seated in maybe 15 min, not bad but had to sit outside and it was cool and windy. There were heaters above but glad I had a jacket. Food and drinks were excellent and decent portions. Service was prompt and friendly, overall a good experience.
We drove for 90 minutes today to experience Cowbell Brewing Co. So disappointed. At 2:00pm on a Tuesday afternoon there was over an hour wait to be seated. So we left :( Not sure if we'll be back. So hangry.
Burger was excellent. Knowledgeable staff on the various beers.
Good beer. Food was fine. A little pricey. Over all a good experience.
Huge facility, nice place, beer and food is decent.
An excellent place to meet up with friends or family and have some good food and drinks
Not very country like. A place you would find in a city. Too crowded after a Blythe Festival play to get near.
Decided to travel up from Tillsonburg and very glad we did as we had a terrific lunch of poutine and french onion soup. Tasted the lite flight and bought a growler of Absent Landlord!!! Worth the drive!
Great food. And nice place. The wait time for food could be improved.
Was completely blown away! Just pulling up to the building is worth the trip. It's absolutely beautiful inside and out! Food and beer was wonderful, pizza was amazing. Such a clean and transparent kitchen. You can order a beer and wander around while you wait for food. It was wonderful.
Great atmosphere. Food was great but the service was not the best. Staff did not seem knowledgeable with current protocols and not very accommodating.
Was the perfect place to have a fun lunch. Very well organised, and the staff was super!
Get a little extra on the pizza and you won't be disappointed!!! Fantastic beer. Wish they would serve proper pints!!!
Beautiful brewery tucked away in middle Ontario. Great way to spend a day trip driving around the country and running into this brewery.
Beautiful building. Delicious food. Tons of space and it was PACKED on a Saturday afternoon. Took a little while to get a drink at the bar. 5 bartenders walking everywhere and only one making drinks. But once we got them it was good. Interesting taste of beer but I would go again.
Cowbell is such an amazing company, restaurant and overall business. My husband and I did the tour of the brewery and I was amazed on how interesting and sincere the journey to build cowbell was. I learned to such, and began the lunch inspired to do more and be more. The head chef, Tony had learned it was our anniversary and he made super special for us! Extremely happy and grateful for our visit.
Fantastic spot. If you re in the area drop in to see this remarkable brewery. Also make sure and have lunch. Their pizza and burgers are excellent.
Great selection of amazing craft beers to drink on site or you can purchase some to take home.
A-plus all the way.
Initial reaction was not good. We were a bit late but I had called to say we would be. First thing said when we arrived "your late! You'll have to wait. We sat people at your table". I had said where we were coming from and the woman.on the phone was super nice. Not such a nice woman greeted us when we arrived. Food was good. Beer was okay. I think if the initial welcome had been a bit more welcoming I may have given a higher score. First impressions are so important.
AMAZING PLACE. . GREAT FOOD. . TOO BAD IT'S IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE
Pretty brewery...took a while to get there with all the road closures.
