This is a fantastic restaurant & brewery. They've put a lot of thought and care into how this place was built and how it is being run. We enjoyed an enlightening tour by our guide, Jill. She was enthusiastic and could respond to most of our questions. Our pizza lunch was delicious! I'm not a beer drinker but we had a taste of their Shindig and surprisingly, really enjoyed it!! We would highly recommend stopping in and taking the tour and enjoying some food and drink!

Great tour! Great food! Great beer! Amazing place to come for a tour and meal. Beautiful property and building and great service with educated tour guides. Great place to visit any time of the year.

The beer was great and staff knowledgeable about it. My food ok nothing special. Would like to try a pizza next time. Not very pet friendly for people on holidays. Said we could tie the dog up on lawn but not enough shade for him. Staff not overly friendly.

The building itself is fantastic, and the beer is good.
However, it seems like these guys have out-marketed themselves, as it was a 1. 5 hour wait for a table! 1.5 hours!!
It looks like there's at least 2 patios here, but neither were open despite a nice day.

Absolutely amazing. Made an hour trip through the snow just for this meal, and it was 1000% worth it. Building is magnificent inside and out. Staff staff was amazing (specifically scott). Meals came out at very reasonable speeds considering how busy they were. I ended up having The Grant with fries and I was not disappointed. Great job staff, keep it up!

No better place to stop in for a bite during a quit drive down #4. Great beer selection as well as a unique menu. I had the daily special(Chicken with Beacon Jelly), accompanied by a pint of their McNall's Mission ( Honey Brown Ale). I was very impressed by the food, beer and especially the service. Dont forget to tip your wait staff.

I have never dealt with Cowbell and was merely doing a search to find a craft brewery to send some joy to a co-worker and support a local business in the process. Your site pulled me in its character and professional feel sets a great bar. The final and ultimate decision to purchase came through interacting with Jessica. She took complete control of a simple inquiry with a passionate and solutions oriented approach. Recommendations made to find the right fit for the gift and a step further to ensure I couldn t make a mistake trying to build the order as it was not a standard package.

I may live in Alberta, but I will be searching for your brand and since all of my family lives in Ontario recommending and using you in future!

Jessica is Amazing.

Enjoyed our light lunch and beer. The building is beautiful and the service was excellent. Please give the receptionist a chair to sit in so it s not necessary for her to kneel because that s just weird.

That is an impressive building, it is still very new, but it looks like it was well designed for tourism. Staff are friendly and helpful, I didn't have enough time to enjoy the restaurant so did a quick self tour and checked out the shop. Next time I will stay for some food and drink. If you like IPA's and west coast style ale try the Bobcat beer and Boxing Bruin, if you like wheat/hefewizen try Kelley's Contraption, or just try them all!

I've been to Cowbell a few times and I love this place, the food is great but a little pricey and most the time I just pick up a flat of beer from their store.
Now I've seen a lot of controversy around Cowbell recently but I think it's all hogwash. Viewed in the best light Cowbell did nothing wrong and is being harassed and defamed by people bored in a pandemic. Viewed in the worst light Cowbell might have a singular waitress who wasn't too nice which should not reflect on the whole company as this is the first time this issue has come to light and their first time to address dealing with it. All in all whenever I've been to Cowbell they've been stand up people with smiling faces and great service. I couldn't possible believe that these people are as bad as anyone is saying right now.

On our way to the Festival of Wizardry we stopped at the CowBell Brewery to check out their beer. As you can see in the third picture, I purchased a good sampling. That's when we discovered they also had a 4.5 star restaurant on their premises so we made a dinner reservation. We booked for the 5 pm buffet; this way we could sample a variety of their cusine.
Sadly, we were greatly disappointed by the selection, quality, taste and service we experienced.
The food/chicken was bland, stews vegetables overcooked, brown beans tasteless, cornbread and biscuits cold.
At least the potato salad and salad was reasonably good. But for the price, poor value for the money!
As for service, no one cleared off our table so we could go up for a second helping. We watched with growing consternation other tables being serviced promptly.
We both agree we'd never revisit this restaurant. I was glad when I finally arrived back home to eat some leftovers.

What an amazing place. The building is spectacular. If you're here for the beer as a crafty however, you might be disappointed. For one it's the only brewery I've ever been to that charges for tastes. It's $2.50 for a taste. Come on, really? I've been to likely 50 different breweries and never been asked to pay for a sample. So I'm not impressed by cowbell. They have some good beers, and the have some not so good ones. I might have given 5 stars for a taste but service like that makes me feel like it's all about the money, and for that they only deserve 3 stars and that is for the facility mostly, not for the brewery itself. Still worth checking out if you're on the way by, but don't make a special trip just to taste the beer.

You ve got to check this place out! It s quite the spectacle in the middle of the country. They really have gone all out and built a fantastic venue. I ve been twice and both times enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. Bonus for the servers actually knowing about their beers. Some breweries don t always have the most knowledgeable servers. They also have lots of options for non-beer drinkers.

Beautiful building, nice beer choices & you can have a $2 hotdogs ( which was very good ) or a $100 steak or pizza from a wood burning oven ( going back for that!) Also a special motorcycle parking area! Will definitely be back soon!!

The beer was amazing, the service was amazing, the brewery is stunning. But the pork chops were literally mind blowing!!!!!!! If you go there and you don't get the pork chops you will regret the rest of your life!!! Great date night with my special lady!!!

Fantastic place! Incredible building that is beautiful to look at while eating. Food was great, I was surprised by how reasonably priced everything was too. My girlfriend I shared a plate of nachos, had a burger and side each and shared a dessert and the bill was around 60 bucks including drinks.

The beer choice is impressive, I'd reccomend getting a flight of four to try, seemed to be the most economical - I'll be doing that next time.

Also it's pretty cool that you can grab a drink from the bar and then have a wander around the brewery and see how your drink was made.

Cowbell is now our go to spot for dinner on the way back from the lake.

This is a monumental craft brew cathedral located in rural small town Ontario. Huge dining space, many different drinks on tap, great food, and service. The self service brewery tour is a neat addition also.

Excellent beer, excellent staff, amazing building. They have made the brewery with public access spaces in mind and they did a wonderful job. The food was good too! They're very proud of the effort made to be energy, water, and waste efficient and they deserve the praise they get.
