Great brewery tour, great staff and great beer! To start, Spearhead Brewery staff were super accommodating when we requested a tour on the Monday of a long weekend (so thankful!). Stephanie was a great host. Having done a few dozen brewery tours over the years, I've seen my fair share of craft breweries. None of them gave the same tour with the same friendly hosting as Spearhead. The quality of the beer was excellent and I found some new favourites. The bar at Spearhead has the friendly vibe you'd usually associate with warm maritime hospitality. We came as tourists, but left as friends!

Their Pino noir is a bit dark , Hawaii beer is made out pamplemouse ...not sure about this taste .

Amazing service and beers. The environment has gone from good to great with the addition of the patio! If you are in Kingston and like craft beer this is the place you need to visit. I have even converted Bud Light drinkers to their Lighter Lager!

This place has the lowkey, familial feel of a pub from the movies. It's my favourite. Everyone knows you, they're incredibly friendly and the service is amazing.
It was quiet when we went but the service was good. Reasonable prices for snacks and they have a number of board games you can play.

First visit to Spearhead today. What a great atmosphere and the beer was top notch. My wife and I enjoyed the charcuterie as well. We left just as the band was starting but would love to go back to just chill and listen to some tunes while enjoying the brews. Greg was our server and was awesome! I highly recommend checking out Spearhead. Of course I had to purchase a glass and some beer to enjoy at home!

Although there was some pushback on filling our Woodbuffalo brewing growler, the owner agreed in the end. Great beer, great price and his concern about filling a "non spearhead" growler is quality, he just wants his product to be good and representative and face it some people let fungus grow in their growlers. Wish it was right beside the Theatre, maybe there could be beer and movie shuttle night set up (hint hint). Will be back soon.
Amazing first experience at the Kingston Brewing facility. I tried Spearhead at Jack's hunt club, Ottawa 3 years ago and it was amazing and knew they were going to be immediately successful wherever they end up. Darlene (Mom/bartender) and her daughter Staphanie (the manager) were amazing hosts even with the high volume of the 9th of March ;). All around great atmosphere and more that amazing staff. Will be back soon.

Went there for the first time last week, I have to say it probably has been my favorite so far, friendly staff, great prices on beer, then when I left I bought a mixed 6 pack of beer to go, was expecting to pay a crazy amount and when I was told the price i asked her to double check.. In my opinion if you are drinking beer at the place it is being brewed it should be affordable, and it was.. I find to many of these micro brewers/wineries over inflate their prices.. Well done for spearhead brewing for keeping it real.. I'll be back...with friends.. cheers and keep up the great work.
I loved my visit to Spearhead! The beer is good. The staff are great! They have a cool taproom with great views of the brewing operations. The best part was the comfortable outdoor beer garden!
What a great little local brewery! I placed an order online and the next day a flat of cold beer was delivered to my door. The staff who delivered were super friendly, their prices are very reasonable, not only will i be a returning customer, I've already recommended them to friends.
I can't say enough about their Chardonnay Summer Ale, it has become one of my new favourites. Fingers crossed it becomes an "all year long" ale.
Put order in last Tuesday, sent order confirmation email no communication after that , does not answer emails , customers service sucks.. update they have contacted me and found the order and have shipped it out .
We ve stopped in the taproom during our Ontario tour. Great vibe, friendly and knowledgeable stuff, but most importantly great beer :) We ve really enjoyed the visit. They also have a little shop where you can buy some of their beers for later.
In brief, a revelation. While I respect the hard work of all craft brewers, I have always held that just because a beer is craft it doesn t make it good. Spearhead isn t just good, it is excellent. I had heard about it from friends and when we were passing through Kingston in July, we made a detour to pick up some samples. We got 4 each of 6 different varieties and NONE disappointed. All had a very refined taste. I m a hard marker, and I gave Spearhead a very well deserved 5 stars.
Great craft beer! Super friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable and seem happy to answer any of your questions. I had a taste test of the brews available. Very tasty. Great snacks. They do tours and the proceeds are donated to hospice! It's nice to see local businesses supporting our community! I recommend at least a visit.
Beautiful brewery and taproom. Loved the outdoor patio and wish I d had time to sit down for a pint. Live that they have an assortment of board games to pass the time while you re there.
Also amazing was the Labour Day promo of 30 tall boys for $60 - what a great deal!

Brewery looks nice and inviting..the beer is bland and overpriced...tasted all and found one was ok...the beer needs more hops or something...snack food not bad. .this brewery reminds me of Gananoque brewery..just not up to the quality type beer a micro brewery should have..i would recommend MacKinnon Brothers near Napanee

We visited the Spearhead Brewery on a Saturday afternoon as part of their "Live Tunes" reoccurring event. The place is beautifully decorated with a bar area that is large but cozy; signage indicate that the room can hold 68 people max. Large windows let you see into the brewery, which is quite an impressive sight. The staff is extremely friendly, the beer is delicious and reasonably priced, parking is free. The location is easy to find off of Highway 401. The good atmosphere really seem to give off a good vibe as every patron at the bar was friendly and welcoming. We ended up being seated beside a lovely couple whom we befriended and had some laughs.
The only suggestions I'd make would be a bigger food selection and more seating around the front of the bar where the performer is located (as we were seated quite far from the band). Overall, a great experience and worth the drive to Kingston.
Minor issue with an online order that was sorted out swiftly by the team at Spearhead. Great beer, mistakes happen, Spearhead made it right. Will continue enjoying a great product. Thanks again and cheers!
It's hard to say enough good things about this company. It says a lot about the brewing quality and conditions when you can see it all from their tap room bar. They give amazing tours and have a wonderful product. The decoy lager is my favourite. I have hosted events in their bar and also had them help out with events at other venues, all staff is just wonderful. I want to send a specific compliment to Stephanie Whitaker, her knowledge, customer service, love of the brand and enthusiasm is unparalleled. Keep it up Spearhead!

Great service, good beer. An impromptu tour of the brewery was awesome. Staff went above and beyond. If only they had a real kitchen. Will be going again before 5 on Fridays when there is a food truck on site.

Stopped by Spearhead on a road trip - what a good call! Picked a few of every type they had in store and was impressed by all of them (special shout out to the Sam Roberts and Summer Ale). I m thinking of re-road tripping just for a reason to stop by! Most interesting and refined craft brewing I ve had in a while. Worth the drive 100%!
We had an event at the Spearhead Brewing Company and the staff and Manager went way above and beyond to make the special day perfect! From decorating to suggesting caterers they were wonderful! I highly recommend this place to go for a drink or have a little party. A band played while we were there and they were really good as well.

Just wanted to share our experience. We had our wedding reception here and it was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The staff were accommodating to everyone's needs, were fun to be around and really made the day special for us. I would recommend them for any venue or just a relaxing time with friends. Friendly staff, brand new tasting room and memorable and unique craft beers! It's a fun place to drop by after work for a pint & charceutire. There's also lots of board games to play and an outdoor patio for sunny days. Cheers to the Czech brewmaster who certainly knows how to make beer!

Just tried AKWA (Botanical Water).. It's so nice to take a moment out of your day to enjoy this relaxing beverage. Tastes great. It's a drink you can feel good about. If you replace 1 alcoholic drink a day with AKWA your physical and mental health will surely improve...
