Well Im not sure where to begin. Let me say 1st that trainers and staff on upgrade course are excellent and helped me learn A LOT that my awful trainer did not. I teamed here and then started a solo family dollar route. Teaming money sucked, family dollar money was great for a little hard work, that I was willing and eager to do! But then... I come back from home time my Qualcomm fails reset doesn t work Omnitracs says bad unit needs repaired no if nd or buts. Fleet manager Jen says no problem come by the dc get a loaner truck. I will include pics of the loaner that I refused to drive because it couldn t even begin to pass a pretrip. And who s going to get those tickets and that stuff on their record ME! I ask can I just go get my Qualcomm fixed I m still bobtail haven t picked up the load that I was coming back EARLY from home time to run anyway. Nope. I was told by my fleet manager Lydia to use my phone (CAR GPS) and plan a route. 388 miles with 3 stops inside of cities at family dollar stores. No budge. I call main office speak to Erica in safety, and someone in HR still NO ONE is willing to assist me with route planning or have any info to give me on how to contact strategic routing. I ve literally been with the company 3 months! So I decide for the sake of my dac report and not getting tickets etc on my mvr I had to respectfully resign from Covenant. Last night and all morning I tried to seek assistance and no one was willing to help. Instead they wanted me to risk my safety, license, and money and run the route using cell phone gps. I m VERY disappointed but I had to do what seemed like the best and only option left for me. Then I m advised if I quit while under a load that I never accepted on Qualcomm or Ctg app or picked up!! that I would not be able to be rehired by Covenant. Well I m ok with that. I am very able to find other employment before I chose to put much bigger things at risk. Never the less still VERY disappointed with the way everyone handled this and how unhelpful they all were!!

Most Horrible experience, 1 trainer 2 females, 3 in one truck, very uncomfortable, company always rushing the trainer & trainer always rushing us, no time to learn, 60 yr old trainer sitting in the passanger seat 24/7 is not a safe trainer, always tired, always cranky, i been here 3 weeks, they put me in they own hotel with no lights, mold in walls & roof, very dirty microwave & restrooms, i got here ready to learn & giving the best of me & what i get back was feeling they spitting in my face, lack of comunication & poor profesionalism, no one is able to listend, messed up paychecks every week when you are doing the same thing everyday, they only care about you having the bussiness moving, everything is about money, they treat you like if you are a animal, Chattanooga terminal have no showers, no running water in the kitchen area, empty vending machines and whatever is in there is rotten, overloaded trash cans, is very disrespectul...i try to talk with my fleet team manager, they listen but they don't pay attencion, no one really care, i'm not talking just to talk, i have pictures and if i can post them i will, no human being deserve to be treated like this, i guess this drivers don't have other options or they are so misserable that they can't see the reality around them, poor higine everywhere, very sad that they couldn't keep a young safe driver like me ready to give them the best....i guess i really don't fit in a miserable place like this, oh well i know another company will be happy to recieve me....

Came out of retirement to remodel our house. My wife is my right hand because I'm left handed. We run hard and don't play around and get our loads in time and deliver early. Been with company a year and a half and have played off 25.000 in credit cards 26.000 in solar panels and a carport w/ cover and 80. 000 in the whole inside of house .With everything new. Thanks to Covenant and all the team players that make it happen. Set a goal and reach it then set another. My next goal is pay the house off . As Dave Ramsey would say I can then yell I'm debt FREE ! That goal is two years. Also don't forget your stocks in the company. A COMPANY IS ONLY AS STRONG AS ITS WORKERS. Best advice for young couple. Drive truck for 5 years and live in your truck and save all you can then just walk up and pay cash for that house then make a family . Happy trails.

I was verbally and physically assaulted by the MD contracted (an orientation coordinator referred to his status as "contracted employee) by Covenant to perform DOT Physicals. From the very start his mannerisms were rather rough, and things went terribly wrong when I simply asked him to use "please & thank-you" when issuing his commands. He gained compliance by issuing threats, and then proceeded to conduct the hands-on segment of the examination in a very rough and painful manner.

I tried to report the incident to the orientation coordinator, but her primary interest seemed to get me off company property as soon as she could. I reported a portion of the incident to the recruiter, Renee, who replied "I know he can be a little rough at times".

I'm currently in the process of reported the incident to the police and other relevant organizations.

If you have any self-respect, dignity and looking to maintain it, please stay far away from Covenant Transport.
