Extremely loud location, you can hear everything going outside and in the rooms around you. Rooms were mediocre, parking is terrible and it's in a sketchy location. Only saving grace was the really comfortable beds. Definitely won't stay here again.
Conveniently located near the Convention Center, the Courtyard Marriott offers valet parking, a restaurant and bar in the lobby, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff.
My husband and I went to a dining detective event with a couple friends. We came in from the coast and it was worth it! The food provided was delicious! We had the chicken marsala and the salmon along with appetizers, salad and dessert. The event was loads of fun. Not exactly sure the company that provides the entertainment but it was interactive and entertaining. To the acting crew you guys kick butt!! The hotel was relaxing, clean great staff, valet parking. Decent price on drinks with full bar! Altogether we were satisfied.
Nicely located very clean and accommodating. Staff was pleasant and answered all of our questions with ease. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I'm back in Portland.

Upon arrival to our room, construction taking place directly above us, two calls, and still no resolution.
We went to the restaurant, were seated quickly, service slow, had to pour our own water, manager incompetent, more concerned about arranging furniture for large group. Looking around, more people were equally disappointed.
Ordered 9 oz wines to receive a 3 oz serving($16) served one dinner salad, with the other two of us without our meals.

It was a decent place to stay for a bachelor party. Could be more central, cushier. Staff very responsive and attentive.
Room was great minus the tiny TV but the construction was kinda inconvenient because there was no ice machine on my floor and you can't just take the elevator to another floor to use another because your key one works for your assigned floor in the elevator so after walking up and down the halls and up the fire exit stairs in my pj's I finally managed to get some incredibly inconvenient ice.
Not very pleased with customer service, booked our hotel way over a month ago & the room we reserved was not available, no parking due to a convention so paid guest had to find parking on the street, elevators filthy with food all over floor. I could go down the road to the Holiday Inn Express and get a way better deal & nicer room and great customer service.
Will not return back here! Clerk had no way to fix things and said I'll just have to leave a note for the manager told me I needed to get my vehicle off the road by 8am wth I have a paid weekend here and I have to do what all because they sent home valet parking employees for snow wth we live in the great northwest!
Ave your money don't stay here go to a nicer place for way less money!

Recently remodeled however poorly so. I'd hate to see how the rooms were prior to reno. Windows were not soundproof, and I was in a room facing the street, which lead to a sleepless night. Nothing notable, decent breakfast and service.

Hotel choices are limited in this part of the city but the Courtyard is easily one of the top two. The rooms are updated and decently large. The staff is friendly and helpful (I even had a handwritten note from housekeeping welcoming me to my room upon check in). Close to MAX stops so it's easy to get around as well.
Standard CY by Marriott. It's recently been renovated and the rooms are quite comfortable. I appreciate the location. The one thing that wasn't dealt with was the elevators...they are slower than mud. There is a pretty good restaurant onsite and the staff is kind.
Enjoyed this hotel for a business conference/weekend getaway. Great customer service. Appreciated the contemporary "flavor" of this Courtyard Marriott.

I visited Courtyard for a professional event, and thus didn't get to experience much of the building or there staff. That being said, what I didn't experience was a very clean well kept building with staff that seemed willing to help. If I needed a place to stay in Portland I would strongly consider Courtyard for my needs.

Stayed here on a business trip to be near the convention center. The staff are so nice and helpful, and the rooms are large, comfortable, and very clean. It's in a quiet, walkable neighborhood right near the MAX stop. We only had drinks (not food) at the restaurant, but the outdoor area is really nice. Kudos to the staff for being so professional!
The hotel lobby was very very clean, modern, tastefully upscale. There's a small bar that had a lot of activity in the evening. The restaurant is pretty good, although I only had breakfast. Only downside is valet only parking and it's $26. But, it's better than street parking. The room was today and clean. Comfortable bed. Fairly quiet even though the walls and windows are very thin. You can hear street traffic. Overall a good experience. Would stay again.
Location was great, staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were perfect for our short stay in Portland. Id recommend staying here and asking the staff for their recommendations as well as taking advantage of the free hotel shuttle.

I am giving the hotel a 5 star rating because of the customer service. Sierra at the front desk was extremely kind and accommodating and Steven Up at Valet went out of his way to provide "must visit" places for me to visit while I was in Portland. I will say for the rate of the room- the room did not meet my expectations. It needed some cosmetic work and the ac was too loud. I would stay here again because they employees were great- which is comforting when you are away from home.
An upscale Courtyard, very nice facility in a good part of town with lots of shopping nearby. Very clean and neat, well taken care of facility. Breakfast was one of the best ever with a full buffet, although it was very expensive (sticker shock). The only other downer is parking is Valet only at $29/night, or you have to find your own parking on the street, which is almost impossible
Booked a suite, get there and got regular room. Called desk and they say oh we overbooked but the manager never called to tell us that. We had plans for that hot tub that were ruined.
Most, if not all of the staff at this hotel are very pleasant. There is a restaurant and bar inside that are open late, the rooms are customarily nice for a Marriot location, and there are many essentials in the city within walking distance.
Rooms are very clean and smell good. The front desk is helpful and friendly. Very nice in hotel bar. Bathroom came stocked with regular amenities. Would stay again.

Staff were quite friendly and accommodating. The area and rooms are clean. My only complaints are that the beds are a bit uncomfortable and the elevators are very slow.

It's a lovely hotel. I'm sharing my room with another person, and it is a bit small, but manageable. The staff was very pleasant and responded immediately to our room needs.
Great location but no onsite parking available other than valet parking. Gym has basic weights and swimming pool looks clean. Service was quick and room was comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. Towels kinda rough against the skin.
Was here for a conference. Spent some time in a room.. Everything was clean and orderly. Staff was friendly. Hopefully the group that put the event on was happy. I'd be glad to come back.

I stayed at the hotel for a convention, the location is close enough to be able to walk between the convention space and back semi often. Generally it's every thing you expect in a Marriott in terms of quality. Parking is limited so valet parking is pretty much required.

Room were nice and big. Very clean. There was a pool and a small fitness center but there was no hot tub. Parking for one night was $25 which was a total turnoff, if I knew about it earlier I might have reconsidered booking here. Very close to the moda center!

Got a great deal through Hotwire. This is a great location if attending an event in the area. Parking is valet only at $25/ night. A very short walk to Moda Center. Would stay here again.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast at the hotel is great. We were able to get fresh omelette made. The parking at hotel is only valet for 26 bucks with in and out privilegious.
We've stayed here a few times before. Comfortable room for my family of 4. Slightly dated and some street noise, but still a great deal thanks to Priceline Name Your Price.
