Well not exactly downtown per say but just across the bridge by the rose quarter there are lots of things to do. The Hub of all public transportation will take you anywhere. Extremely tourist-friendly. Courtyard has great service.
Just the place itself is fantastic. Staff was great. service was bar none. Secure safe place downtown. Close to great food!!
Rooms are nice with both a mini fridge and a microwave but TVs are small. The lobby area is fine but the food is subpar.

Good hotel for the price! Stayed a short night after getting in late from the airport ($22 Lyft ride.) There were plenty of amenities in the building like a gym and pool, but I left early in the day to explore Portland & the surrounding area.
Shower amenities were Paul Mitchell, and unfortunately the parking was valet only. However, plenty of street parking in the area on the weekend.
Also note that they have construction going on through Spring 2018, but it was very quiet, unnoticeable from my room, despite being tapped over a few doors down.

Room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. We utilized mobile check-in and was able to get our room well before normal check-in time. Location is only a few blocks from the convention center but there was a courtesy shuttle that drives there and back regularly.
Clean room, well stocked, and friendly staff. The metro stop is just a short walk away, which made our wondering around Portland easier. Would stay there again.
Cookie cutter hotel, cookie cutter stay. Was fine though other than waiting at the bar for 45 minutes on one order of buffalo wings
Bed was very comfy. Liked the shower. Some downsides: only 3 towels in the room, was given a 2 bed room at first without asking, shower door didn't shut the whole way, and only valet parking for $26 available.

Standard rooms, nothing particularly noteworthy. However, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful, and the freshly made omletts are exemplary. Also, it's only a short walk from Powell's and other attractions.

I say it again this is a great hotel bar with fantastic service. Juanna is the server and bartender. Very attentive, makesyou feel welcome the moment you step in the bar area remember your order from last time then personality totally adore her. The menu is really good decent prices for a hotel bar restaurant again I highly recommend it and if it's a nice evening set outside by their fire pits and enjoy a nice evening of vibrations good food and conversation with with a friend. Met some out of state colleagues here for some training. The Wi-Fi wasn't super fast but it was a solid connection, and free even for somebody not actually staying overnight. The staff let us use the boardroom for our meeting at no charge as long as we were cleared out by the time a group was scheduled to use it (hours later). My only complaint is that there isn't enough casual meeting space that isn't part of the bar or front lobby. But it's not a huge surprise given the size of the hotel.
Very clean and updated interior. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. It's a bit off downtown and pretty quiet.
I have to give full five stars despite the number of amenities that were shut down due to the pandemic. My fiancee and I needed a weekend escape, and the staff was very kind, parking was easy, and the rooms were incredible. I've stayed at many hotels that sort of cover a bad room with a coat of faux quality, but this room was genuinely one of the nicer I've stayed in. The bed was huge, the TV came prepared to watch things direct from your account, no extra hardware needed, the whole place was spotless top to bottom.
The location is honestly the best part. Food, entertainment, transport, anything you need, is merely a block or two away and makes it very easy to get around if you're just on a mini-vacation, or my most common use, attending an event at the Convention Center only two blocks South.
POSITIVE:
Great lobby bar. Some really nice craft brews on tap which is always nice and reasonably priced draft beers. Plus you can take it to your room as well. Nice touch.

Walking distance to Oregon Convention Center, Moda Center and many other places in Central Portland.
CONCERNS:
Neighbourhood is a bit rough. Not the hotels fault of course, but just be cautious as there are homeless people in neighbourhood who can be a bit loud and aggressive.
Restaurant options outside of hotel are not awesome, but there. Burgerville ok. Dennys and Red Robins nothing spectacular. I think if we would have explored more we could have found more. Again not hotels fault really.
Parking is valet and secure which is nice. My only complaint was that when I booked online there was no mention of parking cost so just assumed typical courtyard hotel where parking is surface. On arrival shocked by valet parking costs. However, the parking is locked up at night and secure which is comforting. And upon advising of this concern, management worked with us to make a win-win. They were open with great follow up. Thank you Cindy!
So just note that parking does get charged by night if you need it. Honestly, it is probably better to have it safe and secure, but just be aware of the cost.

Very clean and inviting rooms with personalized service and good attention to detail. Smelled clean and felt very comfortable. Perfect location, walking distance from downtown (20 minute walk). Very helpful staff; special thanks to Luisa who is constantly smiling and offering suggestions for events and entertainment.
Valet overnight is $29 but street parking is available if you get there early. Free street parking on Sundays.
Nice hotel. Parking is my rant, nowhere did they say parking was 27.00 a night while booking! I would've stayed somewhere else if I'd known. Can park on street and feed the meter, I was told.
We are at BLVD and it was great. Good food, drinks and service. The place was empty, but there wasn't an obvious reason to us why.
Rooms were clean and had a lot of room. Beds were very comfortable. Very satisfied.

Will never stay here again. Not only is the room way too expensive, we got charged 40 dollars in taxes. I live in Oregon, W TF? The room was cheap, the tv was 100 yrs old, no microwave. And it's so loud, you can hear everything in the rooms next to you and everything outside the building. The only thing good was the bed was extremely comfy. Also they knocked on our door at 6am to give us our bill and shortly after that housekeeping. As I said won't ever be back. Can't believe in the end spent 300 dollars on the worst room of my life.

Newly remodeled rooms but it's only surface deep. Toilet was old and ran water till I had to fix the tank myself.
Came into town late and despite a convention returning and filling the parking lot the valet Alec was calm and got me in quick. Stacy at the front desk promptly found me a room with the amenities I needed for my family. Great room/bathroom with modern designs and comfy beds.
My first time staying here and I liked it. Comfortable bed, clean room, convenient location. Tram to downtown is a block away. Walk to restaurants, coffee, shopping. Friendly staff. Valet parking is $29, which seems a little steep but it s more downtown.
The hotel is located fairly closed to down town. Rooms are clean and new at point of this review. Coffee is available at reception in the morning.
Nice hotel close to all the spots we wanted to check out in Portland. Staff was nice and friendly. Parking is valet only but there is street parking too. Not sure if you can park overnight there.

The hotel was very accommodating with very helpful staff. The only complaint was the parking availability and the price was $24 just to park outside. The option was on the street which in Portland isn't the best thing.
Besides the parking the hotel room had a great bed and no complaints otherwise.I would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Night service lobby desk staff inept and inattentive.
I wrote this review just to tell you how beautiful the room's curtains are. When they were closed it was like night and that means a lot to someone who needs darkness to sleep. The room was great too though, clean and big with a nice view. I would definitely stay again if I had the chance.
Good location, 2 blocks from Max Green Line... Easy into downtown. Food is a little Pricey, but chain restaurants in easy walking distance.

Had an event at the Moda Center and it was a short walk to the event. Very convenient and very friendly staff.
A little bit noisy, plus you have to pay $27 a night for valet parking. Other than that great experience. Super clean rooms and the bed super comfy. Very close to the Moda Center if you're walking to a Blazer game.
The only problem is the damn parking. You must use the valet parking for $30 a day. No charge, however, for daily in and out. Of course, you could always park on the street. Good luck with that!
Went here for our baby moon, they've got a great restaurant. Comfy and cozy common spaces and great updated rooms. Would recommend and stay again.
