Courtyard by Marriott La Crosse WI Review

It had a good atmosphere and the room service came on time every day

Clean, neat, bistro is quick and tasty, and as always the staff is fantastic!

The courtyard by Marriott was an excellent hotel. Everything was new and the view was incredible!

My husband and I checked in on March 24 in the king room and the desk clerk went above and beyond for us. The room was cozy and emaculate.Bed was very comfy and view of the Mississippi was great! One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Would recommend to anyone going to this area.

Average place to stay. Bonus points for being on the Mississippi River.

Great location downtown near most restaurants and bars. Accommodating staff were friendly and able to help us with dinner recommendations. Rooms are well kept and spacious. Very comfortable.

My room had a view of the river, which was nice in the morning. The bed was very comfortable, and the entire room was clean. Very typical Marriott. Would recommend.

Loved everything about the hotel - the rooms, the service, the location. I had some reserves being so close to the bridge, but I didn't hear a thing from it. Had the best rest in days, and almost wish we could have stayed longer. And the location.. right along the river, and in the heart of downtown - it really was great.

Very clean nice room with great view of the river, staff was very friendly and saw to our every need, was unable to have drinks at bar cause of COVID, but pictures made them look great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Hotel location is nice. Staff was pleasant. Room had decent TV and internet. The bathroom badly needs a redesign. I'm not a very big man, but I felt like I was squeezing into a large doll house. Also the closet wasn't big enough for the hangers.

Nice place on the river with some rooms offering a river view. There is a nice bistro, a swimming pool with 'adults only' swim from 10-11pm, and very nice laundry room. Very nice staff. Decor could use some updating.

Beautful all around, highly recomend staying and great for social or professional events as well.

Free coffee and a nice pool room. Shower applicants like shampoo dried my hair, which I don't much like. Otherwise the people were nice.

Rooms are not updated yet to the level of other Courtyards I have been to. Staff was very professional and freindly.

I'm going to be brutally honest. The physical property of the hotel is pretty average, the rooms and amenities were certainly nothing special. I was there when the weather sucked so other than being close to the downtown area nothing really special about the location either BUT I would really like to visit when the weather is nice and having the river walk would be (hopefully) beautiful. I'm giving this hotel five stars because the staff was awesome! Super friendly and accommodating! I would stay here every time I go to La Crosse.

For the price all you get is a Ok room. The friendliest people there were the cleaning ladies. Check in...very somber and deadpan gal. Bathroom setup is terrible. Sink is outside of the tub and the stool area. Can barely shut the door when you go in there. At the price there was absolutely nothing offered for breakfast. Not even even a free coffee pot in the lobby in the morning. Most places nowadays have something. The best thing about the place was it's right on the river, nice sitting on the back patio and it was clean. Easy walk downtown.

Nice and friendly staff. Location and views of the river are fantastic. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable, and there were not enough pillows for a comfortable sleep. Bathrooms were small. WiFi was terrible, would not recommend if you need to get work done over the WiFi.

It's.... Okay.... The staff was very friendly, and nothing was wrong with the room. It was just... Okay. I was really hoping to be able to walk by the river, but that's not directly accessible from the hotel. The hotel is also very close to downtown amenities, but there are other hotels that are closer. The pool looks great, but I didn't use it.

The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. A very enjoyable stay with a great location right on the river.

We held our association convention here and it couldn't have been more perfect for the occasion. The management and staff were incredibly attentive to our every need and went out of their way to make our event a great success. If you're looking to book an event for 50-60 people, put this venue on your short list, if not at the top of your list. Thank you Courtyard Marriott!

Very nice hotel on the river in the heart of downtown LaCrosse. Walking distance to many restaurants and places of interest in the area.
Bar and Bistro just off of the lobby.
Nice little patio, weather permitting.

Nice hotel but the bed was as comfy as a pile of bricks.

The service was great the location was very good staff was very nice and helpful, the only negative feedback I have is the size of the bathroom was very small.

This is the 5th straight year I have had the pleasure of staying at this Courtyard. I have never been disappointed in any part of the experience. You walk in the door to a very clean, well maintained, up to date hotel. The staff is always attentive, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The room is always clean and comfortable. Even the pool and Jacuzzi are welcoming!! The management of this hotel must be awesome, because the hotel and staff are!! I highly recommend the Courtyard in La Crosse if you need someplace to stay.

Above average room size, friendly staff, very well maintained.

A good place if you're in town on business, as it is very close to the heart of downtown. The views are stunning as this place is right at the bottom of the bridges, on the shore of the Mississippi. Has a pool, and is well kept. If there's an event at the La Crosse Center, you can walk there in under 5 minutes. Close to all of the culinary establishments downtown and nestled into the Arts District's outer edge.

I had a king bed room, it was very nice. However very over priced for the area.

Room was fairly clean minus some cobwebs in the corners. All the plug ins were wore out so charging a phone was out.

Good view being next to the Mississippi, quiet location, clean and comfy room, staff courteous and helpful, facilities limited but adequate, good variety of breakfast options with Starbucks, would recommend.

This place is in a wonderful, if COVID-sleepy area; the bridge view on the Mississippi River is beautiful. The property, however, is in dire need of updating.

Visiting the suite that I will be reserving for the night before my wedding....beautiful.
