Concerns visit to ENT clinic in 2017. Have never been to such a neat and good doctor! . Had a hearing problem and 10 minutes later I was outside again without any problems! 10.

My Mother of 84 years lost her hearing aids in the hospital and now they only reimburse 1 hearing aid and the other hearing aid she can pay 800.00 of her AOW. I think this is a very big shame !!! We are therefore very disappointed in the hospital .... And then dare not even call for the results but then goes by email .....
Worst telephone accessible hospital in the country. Reception does not answer, outpatient dental surgery once again has a malfunction. Unreachable. That is therefore no longer of this time.
If you come by car, be aware of poor parking options. I have now been here 4 times with the dental surgeon, three times of which I had to wait an hour until my turn. (While I had an appointment) Extremely bad planning apparently. Even now I have been waiting for 47 minutes and it is someone else's turn.

Nurses were skilled and kind and came to the rescue. We cannot say about a female doctor who came to discuss the photos. The doctor in question had a very arrogant attitude.

What a bad hospital !! came in with a lot of pain that I couldn't bear.
They wanted to send me home, at my own insistence that I don't want to go home, I was allowed to sleep overnight and eventually I had an emergency surgery the next day.
They don't listen to what the patient tells them. Thinking to know better ..

Terrible image caused from the hospital to me. In the queue and before closing time, people hang up with the message: "We are closed at 5 am." Terribly blunt and bad service. They come off as one of the best in the region in terms of quality of care.
Luckily I only visited last time. Much renovated last few years, entrance looks neat and tidy. Catering is also fine. Clearly indicated where I had to be. Something was not immediately said at the end of the visiting hour and so I could leave quietly if I wanted to. Paying was just neat with debit card in the parking garage.

Very bad hospital. Let a patient in need of help just leave in the middle of the night, without medicines, without a coat. Nurse informs taxi driver that family member would be waiting for patient on arrival home. A lie !! Major proliferation of duty of care.

Been here on various occasions. Although some (administrative) errors sometimes have slipped through, I'm very satisfied with the level of attention, quality in their care. Doctors that I encountered appeared to be somewhat young, which I find a plus.
Whole health care in the Netherlands is a total disaster.

I visit my grandmother and I take her for a walk. Grandma had to go to the toilet but first she needs some room. If we want to walk into the dr room, we are literally sent out of the dr room because some doctor wants to have a family conversation, so grandma can't do dr thing!

Picking up a medicine for a client for work. Pharmacist tried very hard, unfortunately had to wait for a doctor from the Diak Zeist to authorize the document. That took exactly 2 hours waiting time. Too bad about that doctor ... Very sorry .....

I arrived at 03:15 at night with severe cramps and vomited for more than 24 hours.
Only thing she said is to go home and drink water. I was not offered any reassurance! Not even my temperature or blood pressure was measured yet! There was no one else in the emergency room, so it could not have been busy !! Never again this hospital for me!

Very bad hospital, but you will not be able to read that here, because every few months they remove them from Google and make them a new one, until the new one gets bad reviews. Hence I come back every few months to warn people ...
Hospital is unprofessional, out of order and has ways of forcing patients' money without treatment. In addition, the operators are generally unethical and very childish to deal with.
The waiting lists here are also impossibly long, but this too is a way to force money. They register you for a treatment, then the waiting list is more than a year. But you cannot cancel and you cannot have the treatment done at another hospital, because here it comes, the Diakonessenhuis is one of the few hospitals that does not have any cooperation arrangements with other hospitals.
So if you want to go elsewhere with your condition, you can, but you have to pay for the non-performed treatment at the Diak.

Very disappointed with my neurologist. She didn t really try to listen and wasn t willing to help. Instead, she was only prescribing different pills. Eventually she sent me back to GP with unsolved problem that actually got worse after my last appointment in Diakonessenhuis hospital. I wish I hadn t wasted my time and money on it.
very very poor `care` communication very poor with patients. Filthy toilet. Food is served without cutlery and it is found strange that SHE does not eat. This after a serious brain injury and she is confused. She can hardly speak, so she cannot ask for help. We cannot be there every day because we live far away. The room is very dirty and if something is given, medicine this happens without water and without looking at her, get out of here! I give a star, because less is impossible.
After a night out I was drugged, I was well taken care of here and there was (apparently) real attention for me! In this way I want to thank the nurses and nurses again for the good care! Top team !!!!!!
Excellent hospital - can usually get there quickly and have good experiences with doctors and nurses. As in all hospitals, because of the crowds (under-staffing?), The staff does not always have time to think about things for a long time, but perhaps it is also just about quality and not about quantity. I was rushed there, and because there is no more room in the regular ward, I ended up temporarily in the cardiac monitoring ward (the ward that never sleeps - I'll say). But it is amazing how much a fresh cup of tea from the nurse at 2 o'clock in the morning can reassure a person and make a hospital stay more pleasant. That little moment of personal attention is important.
Had bad experiences because you are the only hospital in the Netherlands not allowed to stay with your child. But this month it really got too hot.
Place a dying patient so far from the toilet that she falls, leave it in his / her own stool. She became dehydrated and was poorly cared for. Communication about instead of with the patient and also very poor. Then to the hall to stretch there. Fortunately, the patient could go elsewhere and died there at rest. What a **** hospital !!!

For blood collection / laboratory space, the location has been moved to the central hall next to the pharmacy, in connection with covid-19 measures. At the end of the afternoon on 22/8/2020 I was urgent because of my guest who had a bleeding cut on his head, due to a fall. The person was neatly checked and stitched. Before going to the pharmacy, nursing went with the partner (80 years) through the hospital, so that she did not have to walk around the entire building. Thank you very much for this good care.

Nursing that talks together, does not listen to and focuses on the patient, makes unsolicited appointments, even after insisting that this is not desirable. Very unprofessional. Clearly focuses more on financial management than qualitative care.

Treated very impersonal. Most doctors did not introduce themselves and also seemed very uninterested.
Made an appointment at Ophthalmology for a small operation and asked if I needed something like a punch card or something. None of that was necessary. Only the referral letter.
When I arrive (signage is fine) I still need a patient card. Must have this made somewhere at a desk (gynocology). Long line, waited 30 minutes. Apparently no one can assist. With patient card back at ophthalmology and meanwhile too late for me appointment. So I have to wait another hour for my turn.
Incidentally, the treatment was excellent. Was treated kindly by a foster and AIO, Doctor came by and also radiated peace.
When you left the hospital, it was only clear to the car that you have to pay for your parking ticket in the hospital. But that can also be due to my / our own sharpness. So just walk back ....
Doctor promised to call Saturday because admission may be necessary. Will not be called within agreed time. When you make a call yourself, you will be sent from the box to the wall. Ridiculous how they treat sick patients.

Very questionnable hospital. The 92-year old mother of a friend was taken in for surgery. There was nothing wrong with her legs prior to the surgery, and her legs were not the issue. After the surgery, her left leg was broken. The medical stuff admit that they severly broke her leg, but did not offer an apology. We would like to warn people to stay away from this hospital.

Absolutely brilliant service, my son broke his arm and was treated with the best care I have ever seen. Some people complain about the service, but they have never been abroad probably. The quality and the high standard and professionalism of the staff is superb. My sonn was picked up by ambulance, brought to Utrecht, treated by the emergency services, than he was moved on to other departments and operated. They were considerate, patience and very communicative. My thanks to all the staff and especially to the nurse Joline (fifth floor) and her colleagues.
Ophthalmologist C.S. Zijlstra - who does not take her job seriously - personally treated me ignorantly, mislead the staff by insinuating a strong language barrier - which is not true - she performed an eye treatment unnecessarily - insinuated her knowledge of ophthalmology, she did not even refer me for a checkup the procedure after the last complaint I reported to the doctor, I came with an attendant - (she was a witness) the doctor's assistant reported the current condition of the eye (the doctor did not have time to look at the eye, she was busy with her cell phone) as always. I think it has a bad effect on patients and reputation hospital Diakonessenhuis / Ophthalmology in Urecht
Personally, as a creditable honorary blood donor (35 l), I recommend this Doctor C.S. Zijlstra - because of the risk of health and even death, especially in the pandemic period !!! The cornea, bacterial inflammation, I can lose my vision and even my eye because I can no longer see and I have extensive eye pain.
Miss after miss. If you have the choice do not choose this hospital!
