I am blown away by the service here. Customer service is top notch, clean and fast wifi that doesn t slow down in the evenings like other hotels.
Staff is friendly, welcoming and honest. Location is the heart of downtown with everything within walking distance.
Beautiful hotel right in the center of the action. The pool was closed, but that seems to be our luck with hotels. Other than that, all the staff are very nice.

I was a volunteer for the Toronto Pride and the head quarters was at the bay room in the hotel. The staff was really nice when I asked them where the bay room was. The hotel is clean too and was spacious for volunteers and guests to walk in and out throughout the lobby. Over all it's a 5 star from me.

Decent rooms. Easy access to subway and transit. Lots of restaurants nearby. Pool is shallow and warm which was good for the kids so long as no one is trying to swim laps.
Enjoyed my stay, wish there was room service available for longer and that there was a hot tub, otherwise great hotel!

I had very high expectations before my first ever stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, I was SEVERELY disappointed... Within the first hour of my stay, I was approached by security regarding a noise complaint on my room. I only had the television on, NOTHING else.
Within the 3 day duration of my stay, I received 5 noise complaints on my room and none of them were justified by the security guards or management after I brought it to their attention. They had SECURITY GAURDS STATIONED ON FOLDABLE CHAIRS SITTING OUTSIDE OF MY ROOM. This is utterly UNACCEPTABLE. Will NEVER stay here again.
This hotel is in a convenient location to concerts and there is a subway station right down the street. Entrance can be a bit hard to locate as it is actually off Wood Street, not Yonge. Would have given one more star, but for two minor things: room 318, nicely tucked in a corner, was quiet but it looked like someone had tried to force the door open at some point as the lock needed to be screwed in tighter and the door was just barely closing. A bit of paint touch ups would be nice and the couch in the nice sized room smelled like someone had thrown up on it. And better soaps in the washroom...for $300+ per night you should get more than one crummy motel sized soap.
A nice addition was brand new smart tv in our room, HOWEVER, someone needs to adjust the settings (which we couldn't do on our own) to remove MOTION BLUR! This TV setting is wrongly used and can result in the viewer feeling nauseated. We could only watch a cartoon program on Netflix without feeling the side effects.
Overall I would recommend this hotel for short stays for it's convenient location, but it could use some sprucing up for the price.

I went to visit a friend who was a guest staying at the hotel and sat in the lobby area for about an hour. The seating area is clean, elegant and pleasant. It's better than I had expected.

Well situated, nice staff and clean room but terrible internet/ wifi! Please do something about the wifi. I could barely work on emails and connection was not steady enough for conference calls. It was so bad that the TV would lose signal at times.
Everything about this hotel is really great except the smell - for some reason they pump it full of this overpowering fake air freshener. I spoke to several other guests and they said the same thing. I would love to come back here in the future but will not return due to smell. It s like constantly being around someone with too much perfume on. I can t wait to check out and breath normal air again. Marriott - what are you thinking???

Great hotel. Location is a little outside the really busy parts of downtown, but everything is walkable. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and staff is helpful and friendly. The shower temperature was a bit sensitive, but not a huge deal
They have very good procedures in place to make it as safe as possible for the travelers. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
I recommend this hotel if you need to travel during the covid-19 pandemic.

The reason I give 5 stars is simple: the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto has a Wendy's in the bottom of it. And it's pretty nice besides. Enough said.

We got a 2 queen bed suite for a bridal shower of 10 people.
They knew we were having bridal shower and knew the guests would still leave.
All of a sudden, we kept getting security coming to knock on our door that we were disturbing at 10pm
This was not a residence neither is it a residential area. This was downtown the very busy area.
We were treated like we stayed in a residence and we were not allowed to talk... we started whispering. They made our Marriot experience wack.

Be careful with providing your credit cards, they charged my credit card although the hotel was booked by the company and they had all necessary information. I explained the case to the management of the hotel and it was handled poorly. I should call the company and ask them to sort it out with the hotel. Poor understanding by the management on what the customer service is.
I was only at Marriott for food delivery. Staff was great and helpful assisting me. Treated me like a guest. A++
The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and efficient. Food at the bistro downstairs for both breakfast and lunch was fantastic. A variety of options for meat lovers to vegetarians and vegans. I was in room 707 on the 7th floor, not much of a view but expected for a downtown hotel in the centre of it all. The location is conveniently located walking distance to shopping, restaurants and other amenities. I would definitely stay here again.
Very good, staff was friendly and the rooms were clean
After a long journey flying from India I was exhausted and asked for an early check in and I got an early check in. The staff here are very polite and professional. The bed was super comfortable, I fell asleep as soon as I jumped in the bed. The room looked basic ( I was expecting more of modern interiors).
I felt that their guest service is slow, it may be due to low staff, idk but however I got what I needed after waiting for a while.
The shampoo and body wash were just smoothing as their aroma is outstanding. (Picture Attache).
The pool area is nice, it also has jacuzzi.
Over all it was a good stay.
Too costly for the facilities. No complimentary breakfast, no free drinking water!
