horrible art in the rooms, the pool water was sweet in a gross way, and they treated us like we were inferior

One of my favorite hotels on our northeast adventures

The room was nicely put together but it was freezing when we got there. There is no safe for you to put your stuff in. Also there was no complementary water for staying. Lastly the service was great and very kind.

They had a nice room for us a nice pool and hot tub

Nice clean hotel, pool, and gym. Easy access to all Amherst has to offer from RT 9. Minutes from Mullins Center, UMass, and Amherst center. I was able to Uber from here with John issues. Nice place to stay if you're in town.

The rooms were big here! I was impressed. The staff were also very friendly. Overall I had a great experience.

I wanted to take the time to write a review on my experience as an employee at this hotel. I was at this hotel for 8 months, before moving to another state, and transferring on to another Marriott property. While being an employee here I met some of the nicest people out there. For starters, the general manager Sean is caring, understanding, and treats everyone as part of the team. Not to mention it s the first hotel I ve worked for that has set schedules so you have a great quality of life outside of work. Sean always had a smile on his face, and always went out of his way to ask if we need anything whenever walking by the front desk. In addition, the assistant front desk manager Jessica is as good as they come! She is nothing but understanding as well, and she truly cares about the team. I had some outside work things come up, and she accommodated me where as past managers maybe would have not.

Aside from the general manager and front desk manager, I d like to also write about how I have never seen a harder working houseman than Arhn. When going into the ladies room, every single time it s a new trash bag, the toilet paper is refilled, and it s clean. He runs around the entire shift, keeping the place spotless during my night shift. On top of houseman duties, he also used to help me with whatever came up whether it was the fire pit outside, someone s TV not working in their room, or bringing items up to the rooms that I needed help with. So thank you Arhn for all your hard work and helping hand when needed.

Lastly, I wanted to say how sweet the Bistro/Banquet women that I ve met at the hotel are. Charlene s personality lights up the room, Gails caring personality made every shift pleasant, and Andrea s funny humor always made the shift enjoyable. I really have to say this is 100% the best Hotel that I ve ever worked at, and I will miss the Courtyard team so much!

Friendly staffs. New and very clean room. Very convenient location for visiting UMass, Amherst and Hampshire Colleges. They do have a bistro on site. It s hours is limited though.
Excellent services. We were here on a big snow storm day. The management cleared snow off your cars and the path in the morning. Wow.

People there are very nice, but the facilities are not so well maintained.the heater in our room didn't really work so it was pretty cold at night in February. We requested a crib when booking the room, they told us it'd be in the room when we checked in. However, it wasn't there even though we confirmed again at check in. When we called and asked for it, it wasn't brought to us after 30 minutes and 2 phone calls. Not the best one we'd stayed. =(

We spent three nights in this hotel, we loved everything in hotel, the front desk were so friendly, room were clean.

Everything was good. The only problem, was that the rooms were a bit small.

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott last night and had a great experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful, suggesting local favorites to visit. We sat by the gas fireplace and drank cocktails from the in-house Bistro after our dinner out in town (they also feature food and Starbucks coffee). The room was amazing and even had a circular couch. The bed was super comfortable too. It was a great experience and we would stay there again.

One of the best Courtyard facilities I've stayed in! Large outdoor "courtyard" with a gazebo on the lawn. Made for my evening cigar and catching up on reading the newspaper etc. Rooms were what you'd expect from a Marriott facility

Great option for business travel. Clean and quiet rooms and a basic bar available downstairs. Cute outdoor areas. Very nice staff, will clear snow off cars if it snows overnight which is a sweet touch.

It was very comfortable, but the bistro was not open when I wanted to eat.

Solid stay local to UMass for anybody visiting Amherst

The facility was very nice and the exercise room is better than most hotels. The staff was very friendly as well. The problem was that the heater in the room made a random rattling noise that woke me up several times and made it hard to sleep. After all, you go to a hotel for a good night sleep...if you can't one, you can't give a good rating.

Two men working outside my door upon arrival, got drenched in gross, brown water upon attempting to take a shower. Exhausted , had to pack up and move rooms. Staff did nothing but give me new keys.

They cleaned snow off all the cars in the parking lot the morning after a snow storm. When I complemented and thanked them at the desk, they said it's not a Marriott thing, it's a property management thing. Pretty awesome!

Did a stopover here. Rooms are neat and sheets are clean.
Front desk staff is super courteous & attentive, & room service service are prompt. Needed a kettle to boil water, but they din have, but staff suggest using a microwave, which he promptly brought in for me. 5-stars for this

Rooms are excellent. Love that it had a fridge and a couch. The lobby is new or recently renovated. The lobby has s pack patio with chairs and a firepit for evening enjoyment with friends. Bar staff is also friendly. Excellent hotel for work event or weekend visit.

This is the best hotel in the 5-College area. The facility is amazing and always clean and the staff couldn't be more friendly. I've stayed at the Courtyard Marriott numerous times and haver had a bad experience. In particular, Lane and Louis were always extremely nice and helpful with booking and checking in/out. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's staff.

Location is convenient and staff are nice. Fitness center and pool are pretty standard, don't expect too much on that front as they are not big. I would recommend staying here, my overall experience was pleasant!

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located in the middle of town. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because they do not have any extra amenities for gold or platinum Elite. If they had free breakfast or a welcome gift for elite members I would go with 5 stars. Staff was excellent at check-in, I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice rooms and very nice staff. I am staying for a while and it would be nice if it had a kitchen, but I'd say that would be its only drawback.

Good hotel, but a few complaints. First of all, the bathroom door in my room would not close or lock, which was annoying, to say the least. Secondly, the soda I got from a vending machine had expired in July. Take note that it is December 17th, the soda having expired on July 4th.

Very nice hotel and grounds at the Courtyard. Facilities are well-maintained the staff is warm and helpful.

Always a Enjoyable stay! Staff go out of their way.
