Frequent Marriott flier, first time experience having a front desk receptionist (Gagandeep was her name) curtly inform me to purchase a bottle of water (as a platinum elite guest) when I requested a bottle since none were in the room. Thankfully, the gentleman beside her graciously offered. Otherwise, rooms are spacious and clean and my experience with other customer service members have been impeccable.

Nice new, clean rooms. Good fitness centre. Pool is actually a regular rectangular pool. Check in was really quick and painless and they were able to accommodate a room change (I wanted a view of the airport). Would consider staying here again.

Good facility and service but not enough for high price like over 200 per night for regular customers. I would stay again if they have less than 120 deal. A lot of tour bus customers so a bit busy for breakfast time and parking.
The breakfast is amazing and the hotel has a pool and fitness area on the third floor that any travellers would be proud of! Money well spent!

Terrible. Called the hotel for a shuttle from the airport. I was asked if my luggage was physically in my hand. I told him that the baggage was just coming off the carousel. He told me that he couldn't book me a shuttle until I had my bag and to call back when I did. So less than five minutes later I called back. Then I was told to wait at the wrong shuttle pick up stand so I almost missed the shuttle. The driver was rude and didn't help me with my bag. The front desk clerk at tje hotel was really stressed out with the customer in front of me. When it was my turn he seemed upset and handed me my key and walked away. He didn't even say thank you or explain anything about the hotel, where my room was, Wi-Fi, restaurants etc. I've never been to Calgary or to the hotel so I just went online to figure it out. The room is nice, but very loud when people open and close their rooms in the hallways, there is no sound proofing, but the view is nice. Won't be staying here again, I'm sure Calgary has many more hotels with way better customer service. Really dissapointng.

Clean rooms with a modern feel and look. Great staff, nice breakfast and nicely provided services. Feels a bit isolated as it's located near the outside of the city.
We always enjoy our stay when we come here, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and the free breakfast has lots of choices. The pool is large and shared with the courtyard marriott connected to the hotel, there are change rooms and showers and a fitness room as well. The only downside is that there is no hot tub.
Rooms are nice, but not suited for 2 need requirements as there is one bed, one woefully uncomfortable pull out sofa bed. No ice maker, advertising that the rooms have ice - making refrigerators, but mine was non functional. Pool w nice, breakfast looked good

We had a very nice stay for a weekend getaway. The pool was beautiful and the facilities are all new, clean and modern. The room was quiet and the staff went above and beyond to help. The laundry facilities are a great bonus!

Loved it. Service and staff are great. You have all the amenities you could think of in your studio. I travelled with a young family and they loved it. Pool being open till late is am added bonus. Food was ok, nothing to die for.

I had signed into my Netflix account on their tv. Now someone has tried to use my account. This is the only place I sign in that was not my own device.
I really liked this location but now I don't know if I will stay here in the future. I will update if I do try them again.
Staff is friendly and efficient, rooms are clean. Stopped using this location due to the change in breakfast served a couple of months ago. Just personal taste, no issue with the quality of the items, just the selection. Overall a very fine hotel.
The stay was great. Appreciate the free breakfast. Had trouble working the TV, Netflix did not work and there are options for movies.
Nice rooms, great shuttle service, and snacks were served at 6pm. Enjoyed my visit!
The room, restaurant and accommodations were great. I was here for business near the airport. It is a great place to stay for ~$130 as the room was huge. Walk in washroom, open king bed studio with a kitchenette. I'm they even had internet within the room at no charge. Keep in mind there is nothing around. There is a keg across the street and a pretty good restaurant and bar. I had the Cobb salad and it tasted good. They lost a star because they couldn't provide me a receipt. I've never heard of this before but they said since I booked through Expedia that I needed to get my receipt from Expedia. Its due to their system they said. This is a rather poor system for such an established hotel brand. Expedia's receipt does not break out GST.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was amazing and welcoming. The options for a free breakfast was more than expected. Clean area.
Big rooms, very clean and super nice staff. Has a big BBQ for use, just need to ask to have them turn it on!
Everything was great, except the cards. Whenever you would put the card right beside a device, like a smartphone, it would deactivate the card causing us to have no access to the rooms and the elevators. Although even with this problem the staff there were very friendly and helped us activate our card. Overall had a nice stay at the hotel and would recommend to other guests that are looking for a place to stay.

What a fantastic hotel! Rooms are great, amenities are excellent, the staff is amazing. I would like to make special mention of the best frontline worker I have ever had the pleasure of being served by, her name is Gaga and she absolutely goes out of her way to do everything she can to make your experience at the hotel top notch, what a treasure she is to this organization!
Not a bad place for accommodation, the units are all up to date and very clean and well kept, the staff are very helpful and courteous, the Hotel's restaurant meals are not too bad and i must say i do enjoy the star bucks coffee in the mornings.

An excellent hotel that offers the tired traveller comfort and service at a very reasonable rate. The location is not ideal but that is made up by the drive to Banff.
We stayed here for 5 days when we went to Calgary. Very friendly staff and also the shuttle drivers were helpful in loading/unloading our things. Serving good food for breakfast. Room was very clean when we arrived. We will definitely stay here again
Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. Staff can be a little slow when it comes to service (ex. At the bar and restaurant) and signing you into your room.
Hotel is just a regular Residence Inn. Service on the other hand was terrible. From greeting to providing information about your stay. Pretty dissapointing
Excellent hotel! The staff was wonderful. We received a free shuttle to and from the airport. The rooms are spacious and their pool is inside.
Positives: Spacious rooms. Free Airport Shuttle not limited to pick up and drop. Very close to the Airport. Staff are extremely good and polite and finally free Starbucks coffee during the night. After breakfast hours you can buy the Starbucks coffee.
Negatives: Breakfast can be improved as they have very limited choices.
Amazing place to stay in in Calgary, very conveniently located near the airport. I prefer the Residence Inn to the Courtyard because you can get a kitchen in the suite; I love to cook my own food.
The hotel itself is nicely appointed and feels newly renovated, we were there in November 2020 during COVID so it was emptier than usual. The pool is incredible, not the biggest pool, nor does it have a water slide but the floor to ceiling windows and it being situated on the third floor makes it feel like a rooftop pool in a high end hotel. Great fitness centre, bigger and more equipment than most hotel gyms.
Our room was fantastic, the two bedroom suite has a ton of living space, and the two bedrooms are each as big as a standard room in any other hotel. One downside is the two bathrooms are en-suites of the bedrooms so if anyone is staying on the sofa bed then they don t have a direct bathroom.
Kitchen was nice but lacking a instruments, no baking trays or mixing bowls which would have been nice, but does come with two pots, a pan and all the utensils and bowls/plates/cups you ll need.
Great customer service, Nelson was a pleasure to work with, super enthusiastic and made us feel special. Give that man a raise, and come stay at the Residence Inn.
Stay there often for travel and always have great service. Recommended for sure.

Absolutely WONDERFUL. The welcome was good, check in easy, the room a huge DELIGHTFUL surprise, a FANTASTIC birthday treat awaited me, guest services were WONDERFUL, the size of the room PERFECT, BEAUTIFULLY decorated with a sectional couch that pulled out, a king bed (very comfy), a fantastic shower, nice amenities and the breakfast was good (except rubbery sausages - which I just didn't eat), the coffee was great and the overall was so clean and pleasant. Some great walking trails around the hotel was a surprise and really appreciated. THANK YOU!!!

The Residence Inn is on a joint property with the Courtyard by Marriott making the building one massive complex. Both hotels share a restaurant with decent food and good happy hours. That's right two happy hours. The rooms are bachelor suite style and open concept. Very clean and staff very friendly.
I liked the hotel but when we went for breakfast i had to stand in a long line up for walfels. I would suggest another walfel maker
Residence Inn is 10 minute drive from YYC. It s located in the same building as The Courtyard. The latter is more basic and entry level. Residence Inn is geared more for extended/family stay but is excellent for any occasion. Full service kitchen is in every room. COVID protocols are in place and room is clean. Staff are courteous and welcoming. Unlimited parking throughout. Outdoor patio is well kept.
Would stay again next time no doubt.

This has been our go to hotel in Calgary since it originally opened. We ve stayed here multiple times & never once had a bad experience. All staff are very friendly & welcoming. Pool is the perfect temperature & clean (Although no soap dispenser/soap was available to shower with before entering the pool). Complimentary breakfast is full of variety & tasty. However, the reason for not rating 5 stars this time is because of the condition of our room this stay. 2 of the bed pillows had large dark staining & the shower head was broken which made showering basically impossible (shower head was broken and therefore permanently angled right at the shower wall/corner). Yes, we could of phoned & asked for another room but with 2 young kids in tow & all of everyone s things unpacked- it just wasn t worth the hassle.
Still a great experience & of course, we will return.

I recently stayed at this lovely property for four nights on business and extended it a day to visit with family. From the moment I walked in the front door of the hotel, I felt welcomed and very much at home! The front desk reservation agent was a delightful, professional and very pleasant young lady who assisted me even tho I had actually made a reservation in their other hotel! I was given an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the golf course- which I could have easily moved into permanently! The house keeping ladies were friendly and helpful, and the ladies in the breakfast room were also engaging and extremely pleasant and efficient! the breakfast was amazing in a very bright and cheery dining room. I am telling all of my colleagues and friends to stay there!

Nice rooms that make you feel at home. The rooms have a nice kitchen and the breakfast is pretty good. They also offer shuttles to the airport so it's pretty convenient if you need to catch a flight.

Great hotel for extended stays. Safeway is within 30 minutes walk but the hotel can pick up your groceries for a $1 fee. Free dinner on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Nice gym facilities.
