I can't wait to go back again. Great food and the people there were great too.

Always a great experience when I come here. Friendly staff and good food. Come hungry because you will for sure come back stuffed. The milkshakes are big yum.

I got almond french toast, and it was fantastic! This was a great place to go; my girlfriend loves breakfast and she was thrilled with this place. Only complaint is that it is too small, but that seems to be the case for a lot of restaurants in this area

This is a wonderful breakfast/brunch/lunch cafe. They always have two coffee choices, a regular brew and a specialty flavor. I've always had a good experience here. The staff is always friendly!

Sometimes the service can be a little slow depending on how many people are there. On the weekends expect to wait a little bit; it's a popular place.

Salad bar is really good with lots of choices of toppings and salad dressings. Always love their brownie sundae, too!

Not only are food amazing, it is a great place to take a date. Very quiet and the sunshine through the window while enjoy omelet with fresh fruits could be a very peaceful moment.

Best milk shake in town. The interior is like no other restaurant. Very high ceilings and wooden booths and tables with stain glass windows. Great sandwiches and the potato skins are always crispy and piled with toppings. Also a great salad bar.

Courier has its own garden and lets you know which parts of its salad bar were grown there. Historic building, plenty of menu options, milkshakes are a MUST -- try peanut butter or tropical for something different. Alcohol is available in limited selection.

Great little townie favorite. Food is pretty good, and has a nice small town feel. Been going to this place for a long time!

Had the worst omlette ever. It was an omlette burrito overstuffed with veggies. The coffee and fruitbowl were o.k. though.

It would be hard to get a better breakfast! The service was also.

Had to wait 20 minutes for a table even though I made a reservation. Apparently making a reservation doesn't mean anything. I was also overcharged and I contacted the owner but he has yet to get back to me even though I have emailed him repeatedly over the course of literally a year.

A friend and I went there for first time. Nice !. Aroma of coffee was great. Had a delisous cup. Salad bar was fresh

Had a chocolate & peanut butter shake w turkey club on honey wheat bread and fries!! Delish

We use to eat there all the time, but go fewer and fewer because of poor service and cold food

Came here with my boyfriend for a quick lunch. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap and house fries. I ordered the Turkey club and house sweet potato chips. We both really liked what we ordered, but did not enjoy what the other person got. To each his own, I guess! The buffalo chicken wrap was very flavorful though!
Loved my Turkey club which was nice and light, and the sweet potato chips were delicious. We left full and happy.

The food was amazing and you can't beat the prices. I plan on coming back for years to come.

Their pita dishes are great. The ambiance is old style laid back and sometimes there are people who play music in the restaurant.

Very pretty place, with a lot of vintage items. It is a nice historical building. The food is very tasty, the portion is big, and the staff is friendly. We order the Trout and Ribeye they were very well seasoned and nicely made. We also had the veggie soup and went to the salad bar, the soup was amazing and I normally do not like soup, the salad bar has a nice selection that you can choose and creat your on salad. We also had milkshakes for dessert, the strawberry is my favorite, but the caramel is also very good

Love this place. Used to eat here often when I pastored a church in Rantoul. Went to Urbana to officiate a wedding after being gone 5 years and decided to revisit The Courier Cafe. Absolutely delighted with the venue, the food, and the service.

Took a little while but the food was good and pretty cheap. Courteous service and good portions as well.
Got the pesto pita, tasty, although the pita was a little tough.

Very high quality food at a good price. Service is always great. The atmosphere has interesting vintage vibe.

Their biscuit and gravy is nothing to complain about. Great taste and flavor and not to mention they drown it in gravy. Extremely generous with the portion. The almond toast that my lady had was very flavorful. The roasted almond toast can't be pass on either.

I always love Courier! Their salad bar is excellent. Their shakes, malts and fries are the best in town!! Most of the wait staff is very friendly and efficient. Breakfast here is also good and fast and they are usually one of the last restaurants open in the evening.

A staple of Urbana food, I've always loved coming to grab breakfast here. I make sure to stop by everytime I'm in town for a quick bite and some coffee.

One of my favorite places to eat. I have been going here since I was a kid and the service and food quality hasn't changed a bit. Always get a phosphate when I go and they never disappoint. Breakfast is amazing. There is also a fresh salad bar during lunch and you can not go wrong with any of their burgers.

Stingy with the AC. Gets busy often and when it is getting seated can be frustrating because the staff has no idea who's waiting to get seated and who's waiting to pay. Great shakes and phosphates. Sweet Potato chips and potato wedges are great as well. Good sized portions cooked accurately to order.

The burgers are very good and the service is fast. Definitely suggest getting the fries on the side for $1 extra because they are amazing.

Never had a bad experience @ Courier in 10 years. Service is great and the half soup/half sandwich lunch options are my favorite. If your in a hurry though, going at peak time is not advisable.

I love the atmosphere here. And they have great food awesome service and a great salad bar. Would recommend this to anyone looking for local food. Only 4 stars because they do take a bit to get food out but that means it's made to order, right?!

Staying in Urbana for a conference and found this local gem. Worth visiting.

Good food, great service. The Ruben was piled high with corned beef.

Always good food at the Courier. They had a German chocolate coffee today that was great with their cream that probably comes from a carton but they serve it in a tiny metal cup that makes you feel like it was a tiny batch of cream that was made especially for you. They were out of their monster cookies at the counter, which was a bummer but they are really good so it happens. I had the patty melt sandwich which was good but it is not served with thousand island/Russian sauce due to people asking for the sandwich without it. But my waitress brought it for me on the side. Good stuff.

Delicious as always, I believe they have the best tasting eggs (over medium) in town!
