Their food is always reliably solid, the staff is nice and the atmosphere is fun and relaxed.

Quaint. Delicious. The steaks are pretty darn good.

The Courier Cafe is one of those places that one can visit again, and again, and again! The food is great; I'm a vegan and the staff is always accomodating and flexible. Try the coffee it's great! Very friendly.

Great food in an historic building. The prices are low, especially the salad bar.

Very bad brunch place. The wait time is WAY too long and the food quality is really mediocre. Ordered french toast, denver omlette, and courier breakfast. Bread was served cold and omlette was really small

I always have enjoyed eating here. The Skinny Dippers are to die for...and the Burgers are supreme... Real cool atmosphere also..

Every time we go down for an Illini game my boys insist we hit the Courier Cafe for dinner. We love the Skinny Dippers and have tried every single burger or sandwich at least once! It's an institution to be sure and we hope to keep up our tradition for many years to come!

The location of the store is great and it has a beautiful ceiling inside. The cute gumball machine, antique register, and exquisite menu give a great appeal. The meals were so affordable. $6 for a burger is a home run deal.

The only thing I would recommend to the owners is investing in an additional entrance to break the wind when the door in opened. And for the sweet potato chips, maybe a little less cooked and a little thicker! Thank you!

A old diner in Urbana. Their breakfast is better in my opinion but their dinner menu is good as well.

The salad bar was amazing, the ribeye sandwich was good and the environment/wait staff were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be a return customer.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and have enjoyed every visit immensely; the food is amazing and reasonably priced, and service is top-notch! Give it a shot, I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Fun place to eat. Prices are great. Sometimes the cleanliness is not the best but it is a old building and it's part of the atmosphere.

Great local cafe type of place.definitely a repeat regular for me. Has some interesting and cool historical significance. Been quite a few times now. Food is always great, they have one of the best dine in/carry out salad bars around, and their bakery area has mouth wateringly delicious cookies. Definitely worth going.

Was there for breakfast and the food and service were excellent. I'm handicapped and had difficulty getting up the stairs in front, but I believe there is a handicapped-accessible entrance around back.

This is my go to place. Its cozy, feels like home. They have the absolute best salad bar, especially in garden season. They grow their own food right on the other side of the building.

Opens at 7:00 am for lavish or lean breakfasts. Excellent quality and friendly, welcoming servers. My kind of place!

We were from out of town and wanted something other than panera. Great place with some good vegetarian options. Standard menu options with some out of the ordinary additions. Great atmosphere and friendly wait staff.

I loved dinner here. There's a huge menu, very American inspired, but more interesting/tasty than your typical diner. They have nice vegetarian options too.

I'll start off by saying the food was delicious and the theme of the restaurant was unique. It highlighted the history of the building and built upon that in a very delightful and fun way.

Now, that's all I liked about this place. The service was absent-minded and extremely slow. I couldn't quite tell if my server was overworked or just bad at his job. That, coupled with the fact that they were out of a variety of staples like biscuits, completely turned me off of this place in the future.

The salad bar was fresh, and quite well stocked. The phosphates are amazing - if you've never had one, you really should try one. My wife says she could make a meal or of the dessert dippers". I love their Reuben!

One of my favorite places in town!!! Get a Green River Phosphate and an order of Skinny Dippers. I recommend the curry dressing on the Salad bar. My fav is the Reuben!
