The food took a little while to come out, my mom had the brisket and it was really good. I ordered the ribs, they were tough... the bbq sauce was really thin and watery. Our waitress was great. And the place was clean. I was just a little disappointed with the food.

My first time in Georgia, I got great direction for first time food places, this one of them. The place doesn't look like much, but don't pass up if you like bbq. It was good, tender, the right smokiness, and extremely reasonable on price. You got generous portions of everything, and they extremely accommodating to my food allergy to tomatoes and onions! (I know "what am I eating bbq for?") I loved it! But I didn't get to try sauces, but my companions raved about them. It was a wonderful hometown feel. My son graduated from infantry OSUT, that's what brought me there, so if you are military or visiting military, I definitely reccomend!

Bailey the cashier is rude and Obnoxious. She laughed in my face because I was having difficulties carrying my food order out. Everything I ask for she said they were out of but should be coming in soon. I thought the or owner Jim, must have retired because the service was so poor. The small Afro American cashier was sweet but Bailey doesn't represent the company sell. I have been eating here since 1975. My extended family eats here often. The food is great But I lost my appetite being treated so rudely.

Food was just not all that good to me. The bbq chicken in the sandwich was too sweet. The fries were soft, floppy, and slimey with grease. The service was great though, no problems there.

Absolutely horrible service. Servers standing around talking while people waited for their orders. A table that came in thirty minutes after us was given their food ten minutes before us. My son was late getting back on base because of them, and he lost half a day of family privilege because of it. A normal lunch in a restaurant that wasn't busy should not take an hour and forty-five minutes. I'd never recommend them! Don't take your soldier there on family day if you have less than three hours to get them back on base. Food was average at best as well. Things were burned and dry.

We have made a reservation for 12 people, they only had a table set up for 8, the other 4 ended up sitting at another table and got to move to our group once the table between us came able.
Took our group almost an hour to get our food, it was cold when we got our food. People that came in after us were eating before us.

Food was good but my dad ordered the roast beef and mashed potatoes and they brought him a turkey sandwich. When we told the waitress it wasn't roast beef she just kept arguing that it was. Another worker walked by and said told the waitress it looked like turkey also and the waitress still did nothing to correct it.

Our food took way too long to come out considering it was lunch on a week day and all we ordered was sandwiches and fries. Chopped pork was chewy. Brisket was decent. Our fries came out completely raw and cold. It took 10 minutes to find the waitress and tell her about the fries and ask for a replacement side. She took 2 orders before going to get our new sides (baked beans and potato salad, both good.) When she brought us our new sides, she s said, oh sorry, I took your old silverware, let me go get more. She proceeded to take another order and deliver a tea to another table before bringing us new silverware. When we finally left the building, we were parked in by the delivery truck and the driver was inside somewhere. We had to wait even longer to leave this godforsaken place. We could not get out of here fast enough. If you re in the market for good customer service and great BBQ and value your own time, go to Macon Rd BBQ instead.

I use to love this place but now I will never recommend this place or give them my business again after this week. My son and I arrived at this location while it was fairly empty and we were placed in the back of the restaurant with just one other couple. Then another family of 4 was sat, and then another couple. The server walked by 3 times and looked at us before I discovered that she was our server including the time she asked the other tables if they had already been helped and offered to get another table's server... needless to say, she never came over and asked if we had been helped and the other tables had already gotten their drinks and placed their orders. Finally after everyone kept walking by looking I had to stop someone and ask who our server was...I had to ask to be helped... when our server arrived I realized she was the same server who asked everyone else if they had been helped. Well everyone else there didn't look like me so maybe since I didn't she didn't think I was going to tip her well... who knows what the case was, and the supervisor was just a kid as well and instead of fixing the problem for "the customer" she said "well each server is responsible for their own section"...clearly neglecting to listen when I told her our server walked by looking at us 3 times and asked the other tables if they had been helped and went to get another table's server for them and took the other table's order...absolutely NO customer service from the server or the supervisor what so ever!!! Well when you treat customers like that and neglect to be apologetic, then you don't deserve my business period. You don't pick and choose your customers and decide whether or not you want to be courteous in a place of business... it's your job to treat every customer good... hints, that's how you earn your tips! I chose your place of business after my hard day at work and was treated insignificantly. My son and I left and went to Smokey Bones where we always get good service and food and left the server a $30 tip. Our server had no clue that we just had a terrible experience at Country's, so its apparent she treats her customers well. Even when we walked in the door we were greeted by several people passing and we were assured that someone would be right with us. We definitely did not get that at Country's. My son is a server and I was a server when I was younger so we both know how important it is to tip and not to run the server ragged...and we always clean up after ourselves and make sure not to leave trash scattered all over, so we always tidy up a bit. We ALWAYS TIP WELL. My son and I both agreed that we had never treated anyone the way we were treated at Country's. Common courtesy just isn't so common anymore... well, at least, not at this Country's location

No gift card is needed. I wanted a good experience and dinner at the time of my visit, I'm not looking for a free meal. The server's name was Savannah, but the Supervisor working that night also needs guidance as well. The incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 at approx 5:20 pm

Stopped here on a whim while we were passing through and was genuinely surprised by the fantastic food and service. I have eaten at a lot of barbecue places and this is hands down one of the best I have ever found, definitely worth a stop in.

I ve gotta say that I ve always loved Country s. As a manager of a smaller and fast casual restaurant, (as opposed to a dine-in and service restaraunt like they re able to provide) I can only imagine how many workers/servers Country s has to rotate out between their THREE successful restaraunts. And, they have done wonderfully.

The owners are good people. And they have always cared about their customer s enjoying themselves with a comfortable atmosphere and some good food. Yeah, there s going to be few off days, some workers aren t perfect, and some workers will call off. But the owner himself will come out to shake your hand, talk to you, and try to genuinely make up for it, if anything happens.

And, you wont get that feeling anywhere else. Like an old friend cooking you up some barbecue while you visit his cozy home. And his home will have some tunes playing. And that old friend just happens to be Country s Barbecue.
