Country's has a great variety. We usually go for a vegetable plate or maybe some barbecue with a couple of sides but today we decided to try something different. The BBQ egg rolls and the brisket Taco were delicious! Of course you can't go wrong with a BBQ sandwich and a side salad. We love the live Bluegrass which plays every Friday and Saturday night at the original location on Mercury Drive. Asia was our server and she did a great job! When we have visitors from out of town, we will definitely take them to Country's on Mercury Drive.

So good!! Some of the parts of the rib were a tad tough but overall they were really good! The sauce that came with it was just soooo good! Then I had corn on the cob and baked beans which were good as well. My husband had greens and he loved them. Also, we had banana pudding for dessert which was phenomenal! Will be back for sure.

I love the atmosphere. Love the food, the tea, & the band on Fri&Sat.nights. I drove from Central Florida just to spend the weekend to be able to get my Country's BBQ fix. Ate there a couple of times and then packed two coolers full to take home. Ate for a week.

Real good home style cookin! Great value meals! You won't leave here hungry! One of the my favorite places to eat, when I am in Columbus! Friendly servers here, who won't let your drinks get empty! Definitely will be back again soon!!!

My husband had a California pizza flat bread that was scrumptious!! I had the meatloaf, which was OK but a little soft for my liking. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The building had an historic feel to it. We would eat here again.

Every 4 or 5 weeks I get a craving for Country's barbecue. I announce to my husband, "Let's make a Country's run," and he's always ready! " We live in Covington, Georgia, about 30 minutes east of Atlanta so it's a good little ride. We have been doing this for over 25 years. Always good food, good service and good people. I am allergic to pepper, so the mildest sauce is my favorite. They have other sauces right up to Back Fire sauce, which my sister-in-law loves. We always enjoy our times at Country's and will always come back. We recommend it to anyone heading that way. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!

I specifically asked our waitress if there where any vegetables in the beans before I ordered them. She said no sir & there were. I asked for chicken fingers & they served me a small amount of pork tenderloin. Their sweet potato chips are bland & tasteless. I recommend spending $20 at McDonald's before spending $60 here.

Good fast friendly service. I have been here three times, twice when it was very busy. Had a different server each time and all of them continued the great service. I had the pulled pork the first time. Very good pork, but I prefer NC style. No knock on them every region is going to have their favorites. Wars have been fought over what style is the best, lets not go there. That brisket though... the brisket is amazing. If you come here you must try the brisket.

I have finally moved to this awesome area. I have friend visiting from NC and I l
Inow they will deliver awesome service and delicious food!

I actually really like Country's BBQ. But I usually go to the one on Whittlesey Blvd. I had to go to this one because it was closer and wow, what a difference in everything. First off, the smell hits you like an iron skillet to the face, and I don't mean that in a good way. It smelled like the armpits of 1,000 construction workers in there. I don't know where exactly that smell is coming from, but ya'll need to do something about it!! I thought maybe I was just downwind of some guy who spent the whole day replacing a sewer line but no, the smell remained as strong and fresh as a teenage skunk the entire time we were there. I almost couldn't eat at all - but I forced my brain to think of the smell as "just the way an old bbq joint should smell" and choked my food down. The food at this location just seemed... old. Not as fresh. I don't know what it was but it was just not a pleasant dining experience at all and it was literally just because of the heinous stench that maybe everyone is accustomed to but let this be fair warning to anyone going there for the first time - bring a scented face mask or maybe better yet order it to go. I certainly didn't enjoy the sensation of being rakishied in the face by a sweaty 300 lb pitmaster. If that's right up your alley, though - this is the place to go.

Tonight I ordered my food online and decided to pick it curbside thinking it will be faster. I usually expect my food to be out 10 minutes after the expected time to be ready and don't mind waiting. But today was outrages ...I waited almost 40 minutes for my order after the time it was supposed to be ready. I even arrived a couple of minutes early just to chill in the parking lot.
I saw cars come and go all the time I was there. Plus, my drink tasted funny and my fries were not fresh for a 40 minute wait. It's the nearest location to my job and I was on my break. I even ordered my food ahead of time to make it quick back to work. There was no no need for me to wait 40 minutes if I ordered online.
My last 2 previous to go orders were always missing something. One time it was my drink the other time was a bread.

I was passed along to 4 different people.

I was passed along to 4 different people.
Refused to do a to go or curbside order for my immediate family. Because they were too busy. I called 4 hours ahead of time- With service like that they won t be too busy for too long.

Very friendly and enjoyable experience. The young girl w/ the long blonde hair who served us around 8 pm on may 13th, was especially friendly and really seemed to enjoy her job.

Wait staff was very slow. I ordered the rib platter and the ribs were so dry and tuff that i could barely eat them. Potato salad had way too much sweet pickle that it was the only thing you tasted. Brought a friend to town just to try the place because it used to be amazing. Very disappointed on this visit.

I've eaten at many BBQ joints in my life and this was easily the worst.
From the bland and extremely dry ribs, to the tasteless corn bread, and the incredibly horrible fries.
Regret eating here.
I was extremely disappointed, especially with the 4 star review in mind.

Very bland food. I ordered the Patriot sandwich. The bottom bun was soggy, and it seemed like they threw everything together and stuck that between a seeded bun. If it's authentic, then I don't like southern food.

Decided we would eat lunch at Country's BBQ while traveling from Florida to Kentucky. It was a great decision! The best collards I've ever had! The pork BBQ was perfect! The decor is fun to look at, lots of southern advertising signs and unique items. We can't wait to pass through Columbus again and eat at Country's.
