The Shoop sauce is the boss! Out of this world banana pudding. The fried pickles were unlike any others we've ever had; a unique batter and oversized pickle slices. Brisket was exceptional. Service was great. Atmosphere was very down home, with Americana pieces and vintage memorabilia.

The food was okay. I ordered a veggie plate and it took almost an hour for me to get my food. My order was placed curbside and it shouldn't have taken that long. I had the cornmeal dressing with gravy and it was good. I also had the butter beans even though I asked for lima beans. The corn bread was to hard to the point it was almost burnt on the bottom. The sweet potato souffle texture and color was beautiful. I didn't care for the brown sugar and walnuts on the top of the souffle. I am allergic to walnuts and the brown sugar on top of the souffle made it extremely to sweet.

Usually love Country's but this visit was disappointing. Looked like all the adults had went home for the night and left the kid in charge. Service was slow and the food was sub-par. Next time I'll stick to County's On Broad.

It was the worst service ever i literaly tried to get my waitress for 10 min i finally had to do something that got everyone attention and we come there all the time . Took forever to get our food . food was still good .
They even seated a man in corner booth and forgot him ,he had to go up there for someone to take his order and then we watched him go up and get his own food . So disapointed in this country bbq.
We were there at 5:15 pm this is reply back to owner. Since i don't know how to reply back to you on here.

Went to visit grandson in Benning was in dire need of a car wash! Found a car wash and Country s BBQ! Comeon sweetheart let s try this place. I don t know sez she. Well I do now! Ate here three times that visit, two more times at his graduation and have been thinking about it since last year! Just about ready to take a trip again to Georgia from NY and scheming on how to get lost from Savanna to Columbus! Highly Recommend!

The food is pretty good & not bad for the price. The only ding I m going to give them is that their ribs tend to be on the greasy side...which is odd for meat cooked on a grill. The atmosphere & staff are friendly. You might want to be mindful of the times going there on Fridays and Saturdays as they tend to be a bit busy on those days.

I am giving one star because no stars is not an option. I recently went into this establishment to put in an application. There was a lady outside on break who was really nice, she told me to ask for Karen. I went inside and the girl who was upfront had the nastiest attitude you could imagine. She was rude and full of snarky comments. After seeing the way employees act I can see why I was advised they are always looking for help. I would never work at this location and certainly will not be eating there until they teach their employees what it means to work in the Customer Service industry.

I have never really been a fan of Country's Barbeque even when I tried to work there, and yes I worked there Briefly. I am a real PIT MASTER with over 40 years experience and country's bbq doesn't have a clue of what bbq is suppose to be these days, because I remember a long time ago they use to have some real good bbq and they should find out how it use to be done and do it so I can get some , because I ordered some country's about a month ago and I was very disappointed, not just because of the amount of money that was wasted but the food wasn't good and I was it was

I always love going home and eating here. We got fried pickles as an appetizer and the amount of pickles vs the cost was awesome. Anywhere else it would have easily cost double. The brisket was cooked to tender perfection and my wife got the brisket tacos and OMG! They were amazing.

Overpriced. From what I've heard women can only be waitresses and not dishwashers or cooks. Men can only be dishwashers or cooks and not waiters. Good food. Doesn't stop me from eating there rather occasionally. but only occasionally

Who is the employee or employees that conveniently forget to put your desserts and drinks with your to go order? Happens every time I order desserts and drinks. And, to add to that, while I was going through my to go order and noticed my desserts were missing and remembered I ordered drinks, another customer is looking through his order, goes up to the window and says, "where is my lemon pie and sweat tea?" Please look at your process for to go orders or hold your employees accountable!

If you get a to go order you better check it before leaving. I do not go there for to go orders anymore, too inconvenient, habitual act. The workers are too young, don't care, they rather B.S. with each other than be a dedicated employee.

Always a hit-or-miss for me. The barbecue will be great one visit and be fatty and have gristle the next. The sides are good and they have very good vegetables. The fries are hand-cut and delicious although a little greasy. A cool place to eat but the barbecue is just so so to me.

I think we're going to have to give up going to this location We usually eat here every Sunday and Tuesday nights but for the last few months each experience has been worse than the last. It's not the food, it's the servers. Very inattentive. We had to ask for our server three different times tonight. We never got the check brought to the table and they're too worried about cleaning up when it's not even closing time. Been going here for 40 yrs so it's very disappointing to say the least.

This place smells good but the food is not good.

This place smells good but the food is not good.
Potato salad was bland and the ribs were not cooked well. Only thing good was the bbq beans. Brisket was dry and we asked for bbq sauce and was told they don t have any. What bbq place has no sauce? Then it was so many kids working there serving and cooking the food. First time and last time here. Save your money and eat else where!
