Costa Coffe Review

Very keen on telling people they could only serve in takeaway cups as they were closing soon, but that was 4hrs before posted closing time so no idea what that was all about. Standard Costa, bit of a queue seen other Costas deal with a queue quicker.

So disgusting and pointed this to staff but the bode head staff member said he don't care and he still sold one of the items to the next customer
Can't expect this sort of service and behaviour from Costa staff

.... tasty sandwiches, fresh cups of fruit salads, all kinds of juices and lemonades and a wide, very good range of coffee!

Coffee latte extra and french croissant true! It rivals the good bakeries of France.

Downstairs is extremely COLD, toilets are horribly dirty and smells like death, bring your own toilet paper as they don't have any.

Although small, but it has a good atmosphere. The only downside is we had to queue to use the toilet

perfect for a small lunch break or a coffee. The cappuccino is a real delight and the presentation is perfect.

Good place to stop off whilst shopping or if you have a little work to do on your laptop or phone. I went there as a stop off as my toddler had a nap, I got a hot chocolate and caramel shortbread and sat downstairs. A few business people in there working / having a meeting but it was quiet. There is also tables of two but able to move them easily together. Staff were friendly. They have free WiFi available too. Would go there again.

Downstairs seating was great with good barista service

Lovely place, very nice & helpful staff. Everything clean & food was yummy. Near Trafalgar Square but not to busy.
Child/wheelchair friendly- seating upstairs & downstairs. The toilets & baby changing is downstairs though so not easy to get to.
There s a free WiFi.

Nice place. Unfortunately, little space at street level, where there is something to see. Many seats and toilet in the basement. Otherwise a Costa.

Friendly staff and plenty of seating space. Service was slightly slow at first, but sped up. The barrista didn't seem to think my order was on the menu, even though it was the biggest advert in the shop!

I ordered a banoffee frappucino - the banana taste was far too strong for me. Hardly tasted the coffee nor the toffee!

Would try a different drink next time.

Small place where they make good coffee and breakfast

Usual Costa fare, but not the best service. Gave me whipped cream on a soy latte, were very surprised when I said I can't have dairy. Were perfectly okay with making a new one though. Then the toilets had really long queues because one of them was locked and the code was a secret. Overall seemed like it was just too busy for the staff.

Food and drink is normal great quality, shame about cleanliness of store and cups. Being asked 4 times whether you are eating in or out also doesn't leave a good impression.

It's a Costa it's what you'd expect. Code for toilet is on recite, whilst it is a disabled access toilet with baby changing facilities, it's down 2 flights of stairs with no sign of a lift,

I always pop into this Costa when I'm in the area, and you won't be disappointed. Set over a few floors, there is a great coffee shop vibe (despite being a chain). There is free Wi-Fi, and a great selection of food and drink, so you can easily spend some time here if need be. There are obviously great selection of more homely feeling independent coffee shops around, but if you just want a reliable coffee, this is your place.

Terrible employee. At 6:00 pm on September 23. I am 65 with a bad knee wrapped in a leg brace. I walk in to get a coffee with my wife. I head to the bathroom first like every normal person does. The counter person who has a line of customers immediately yells at me where am I going. I replied to the bathroom and then going to get a coffee. Apparantly this rude person dislikes seniors. I then had to wait and order a iced cappochino. I think Costas needs to have ignorant employees worry about waiting on customers instead of guarding the bathroom like a angry pitbull. I also posted a similar review to trip advisor and if you look I am the number 1 reviewer in the Pittsburgh area. This is only my second 1 star review in years I have left. This shows how insulted I was being treated like a bad old man. The only good thing I can say was the cappochino was excellent. With a horrible employee.

An interesting discussion on why some cakes don't have a take-out/eat-in rate difference.

Your staff are not trained. They could not tell me the difference between a Mocha Ice and a Mocha Cooler. Obviously didn't know how to make it either! That was obvious from the coffee received. The tables were not cleared and the coffee shop was dirty! Not good!! Costa is overated!!!

Nice selection of goodies - cupcakes and coffee! Good service and clean toilets. Ideal spot for a mid-shop coffee.

Coffee is good and staff is friendly. But why do we need to wipe the table to get a proper seat?

Despite not being a great visit for personal reasons (so mood was not great) the coffee was good and the downstairs is very spacious and comfortable! Definitely a good spot to sit down and recharge.

I'm one of the Costa coffee lovers, but this branch makes me disappointed. Limited type of drinks, not like the other branches. One of the male staff extremely rude.

Always enjoy my costa hot chocolate. No matter what time of day.

They do not make you feel welcome. The day I visited restrooms where closed, and no apologies what so ever was given to the customers.

They don t have more options in coffees though that s a negative.
