Love, love, loved it! Exhibits were great and interactive. But boy oh boy was it crowded. I understand school was on spring break but I'd like to see it again only less crowded. The planetarium... fantastic! There's a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes!

Interesting exhibits and very interactive. Good for adults. I am an adult and i came with 3 other adults and we ended up being here almost all day. Very good for kids. Plenty for them to ineract with and to get their attention.

We used to love Cosi. I used to get excited about going when I was a kid and couldn t wait to share the experience with my child. However there isn t a lot for my young toddler to do. We liked the kids space on the third floor until older kids are running around knocking over the smaller kids. My son has been knocked over by the bigger children many times. One of this kids stomped his hand. When you reach out to staff not much was done. The standard exhibits are in need of repair. Half of the activities are closed for repair. The extra ones they make you pay for. Which is fine but when I pay 15 dollars for four and have a membership kind of upsets me. They also charge now for a 2 year old. The food is expensive in the cafe.

We are not renewing the membership we will continue going to the zoo where he gets more out of the experience. I wish cosi would get back to the way they used to be and be about the science and learning.

We are from Virginia. This has been my husband's favorite museum for years. Granted we got lost on the parking (mainly turning around) but we found the sign easily. We get in for free using our Virginia Childrens museum membership. So was more than happy to pay the 15 bucks for dinosaurs. We actually plan on returning today for the kids space and progress exhibit(my favorite). Staff were extremely friendly and patient when dealing with my four year old. I have no complaints. My son loved everything but the Life exhibit. He doesnt enjoy learning about the body yet. But there was some cool info. I highly recommend it here! I can see why it gets packed during the weekends. So to avoid the crowds try attending during the week if able.

Sponsored an event there Monday.
The food served was terrible, would not have served it to my neighbours dog.
Their staff was unnecessarily rude, not that rudeness should ever be acceptable.
Seems like it should be a great venue and I have utilized museums in Cleveland and Cincinnati before to hold events but NEVER going back to the one right in my back yard. Never hosting an event there myself.

Easily the most boring museum I've been to in years. We drove up from Cincinnati to see family & explore on our own. We went to Cosi years ago as kids & wanted to go back, but we were extremely underwhelmed (most likely the new building everyone else is mentioning). The price to get in is way overpriced for what you get & we wouldn't go even if it was free after this experience. We are adults, but the whole place was boring & I can't imagine any kid any age enjoying this museum. It's cramped, has little interactive areas, a lot of broken exhibits & the temporary exhibit, Oceans, wasn't worth it & we're glad it was only $5 extra. It's just kids running around everywhere because they're bored & don't know what to do. The Cincinnati Museum Center is a million times better than this & we don't have to drive this far to get to it. Don't waste your money.

My friends and I were really excited to attend the COSI after dark Harry Potter themed event. We arrived and it was completely overflowing with people. There were hardly any tables for activities, no clear directions, $7 tiny "alcoholic" themed drinks. I was really excited for the "magical creature" table. It was a chicken. The exact breed of chicken I keep at home. There was a 45 minute wait to pet a CHICKEN. We stood in line for another 30 or so minutes to make wands--- but we got to the end and they had run out of cardboard and LED lights and wires. The food was pretty good, but I definitely won't be coming here again. We drove an hour and spent around $100 between my boyfriend and I. Both of us felt a little ill having spent that much money on so little fun.

Honestly, it's a little pricy for the experience. However my favorite place at Cosi is progress and the ocean exhibits. The Mythic creatures exhibit is pretty cool however I wouldn't recommend spending the extra $5 to see it if you have smaller children. I enjoyed it though, very much. I was a little sad to heat they took the star tunnel out. My mom had never been to Cosi before and I took her for mother's day and I told her all about the tunnel but she didn't get to experience it.

This place is worth a visit maybe once every few years, or to bring out-of-towners to. It lost a lot of its charm when it moved from the original location, but it s still a fun place to spend the afternoon with your kids.

COSI is awesome and there is so much to do and see. We ve been members since we had our first child, 9yrs now and it s a phenomenal value. Everyone that says it s too expensive is just a big cheapo... You re always going to pay more if you only go once and they must have no idea how much it costs to have quality exhibits and staff at a great location in a decently large city. The staff are generally awesome and know tons of the science background to answer kids and adults questions. If you love science and want your kids to love it too then COSI is great, and you should get a membership, go lots for shorter time periods, and it will be an awesome value for you too.

There is nothing there. These good reviews are either doing it because they probably get a kick back for it or they never went to COSI before they moved. There are just a few hands on things. Everything else you have to pay extra. Honestly COSI never should have moved 20 years ago. What happened to all the exhibits from the old building? Instead now it's a big empty building that charges to much to enter to see a lot of nothing. The nicest place they have is the gift shop literally nothing else. I really hope this COSI models after the old one or just shuts down for good.

This place was fun and we look forward to coming back and exploring more of it! The second floor has an AMAZING play area for toddlers (mine is 15ms) and older. It's a great place for them to run off steam. My son especially loved the firetruck he could climb in and pretend to drive.

Wonderful Wonderful!
My granddaughter and her Mom had been to this museum before. My granddaughter loved it so much she wanted to go back. We're from Cincinnati so we drove up Saturday found a hotel for the night and visited Cosi on Sunday. What a treat! My husband and I had a ball. We found a lot to do while there. The whole place is "touch" friendly. I learned some things also. This place is amazing. No matter your age this museum has something for everyone. I will definitely be going back.

As a college student I came here and had a lot of fun! I loved that many of the activities were interactive. There a section that s more focused for children there and it s a nice place for families.

First off let me say my family and I are Cosi members going on about 3 years nown.. it's been fun for the kids but for me it has been utter hell. It seems as if the last 5 times we've tried to go they've either been closed or booked for some event! As a member this really disappoints my family and I! I remember the old Cosi and it was so much better! Less expensive, very kid friendly, all in all it was a great place to take your family... I'm sorry to say but After this membership expires we will no longer pay to participate in anything that has to do with Cosi..

A fed up customer

This place is not worth the money! All the exhibits were run down and not maintained well. Half of them didn't even work properly. Seems like anyone can walk in without paying because it was so unorganized, which is irritating because I paid why should someone get in without. The food at the cafe was gross and overpriced. I planned a weekend away to go to Cosi with my kids and it was not worth it at all. We went to Dave and Busters after Cosi and my kids had more fun there! Will not go back!

Whatever you do don't park in the outside parking lot. Someone smashed our window in broad daylight, and there are no cameras in the lot to catch people who do this. The museum was ok but we'll never be back.

COSI has become a depressing graveyard for what was once an exciting and educational place. Where once there was knowledge, now there are interactive idiot-boxes full of politically-driven propaganda and social engineering platforms. You can find science in some of the nooks and crannies that haven't yet received their shiny politically correct updates, but what you'll find mostly is watered down crap. It's all hilariously overpriced and run-down, too.

Do yourself a favor. Take yourself or your family to the Columbus Zoo or a real museum.

We have an annual pass for COSI even though we live about 2 hours away. We love going here as a day trip. They always have lots of fun exhibits that the kids enjoy seeing over and over again. And they're really good about changing their exhibits on a fairly regular basis. It has to be one of largest kids museums/science museums I've ever been to.

COSI is not my thing although my wife and kids love it. Had a really good time there 4/4/2014. The Sherlock Holmes exhibit was ok, kind of confusing and rushed though. The highlight is the flight simulator. You must do it! Well worth our 15-minute wait in line!

My family and I had a great time here. Our boys are eight and thirteen and there were tons of things that kept hem both interested. The ticket prices are very reasonable. The facility is nice and clean. The staff was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. Parking was easy and cheap too. Thanks!

We love going to cosi with the kids but we recently went and the majority of the exhibits we interacted with didn't work. Really disappointing and ridiculous for the amount of money spent. Can't really teach kids science if it doesn't work...

Name should be "CHILDRENS Museum of Science and Industry." It is 90% set up for little kids. That's fine but how about publicize it as such? Science museums in Louisville and Chicago are fun for kids but definitely can be enjoyed by people of any age.

I brought my fiance here for one of the adults only evenings and it was so much fun! I love that theres a discount for buying tickets early too, it was cheaper to go to one of these than visit on a regular day. The dinosaur exhibit is the coolest, and theres so many other things to see and do. This is a fun place for adults too!

If you would like to stalk your ex, simply request that their security follow them, and their children around. They'll do it, and will be proud of themselves at the end of the day! Do not go here...

Kids love this place . It s nice they have reciprocal membership with cincinnati museum center ,so we don t mind the 1-2hr drive to come up here .

Exhibition was updated every year . We never get bored here. It s like a giant playground with tons of interactive activities. There are hardcore science stuff in some galleries. A good balance for a popular regional museum .

The early closing time is not convenient but we can spend some time in the new playground outside .

Drove up from Cincinnati to visit. We are members at Cincinnati Museum Center and get free admission at museums in other cities. They said our home address isn't far enough away (by 3 miles) to get the free admission. Problem is they measure as the crow flies from your home address. So even though it takes 100+ miles for us to drive here, our pass is useless.

Ok went there today with my kids was ok but before they moved they had so much more for the kids to do and see i was not impressed with them it felt more toddler friendly and thats ok but older kids not as much and the rest was more museum then interactive i miss the old cosi it was way more fun

A fantastic science museum for kids and adults alike. I loved coming here as a kid (the Adventure exhibit was the coolest, although certainly one of the least educational) and still love visiting as an adult. If you're over 21, there are events called COSI After Dark that are very much worth checking out: the science museum puts on things geared towards adults, and there's a cash bar on each floor.

COSI is great for families with children under about 16 or for people who don't know much about science. If you are a huge science nerd like me, you might find it a little underwhelming after a few visits. I still would reccomend going at least once, though.

Wow something for everyone. Interactive exhibits spread throughout. I have been a member for many years, I joined when my oldest was then 1 year old. She is now almost 10 and I have renewed every year since. Exhibits are always changing out and new movies coming in.

The cafe has some nice options but it is on the pricier side so we often just pack a lunch. If you are a nursing mother they have a fantastic room for that. Lockers are cheap and you can rent wagons for free.

Little kids space is worth the membership alone for me, safe space to have the little ones just run, play and really get hands on!

We will continue to be regulars and are so happy to have a place like this so close.

Awesome place to bring the family. There's always a lot to see, learn, and do. The new splash pad and playground equipment outside are great. They change exhibits frequently. Kids place is wonderful! Food seems expensive but is filling. I dislike that they got rid of free rental strollers and wagons. Members & Nonmembers habe to pay to rent them.

There were 9 buses full of students when we went. Too many kids, not enough chaperones. One 9-10 year old kid almost soaked my toddler, and his mom/chaperone just laughed. Another 7-8 year old boy ran right into my son, and didn't even acknowledge him. We kept having to leave certain areas when the massive group of kids came to where we were, because they would all trample over anyone and everyone that were "in their way".

I think this place is extremely overpriced. Don't get me started on their cafe. $3.59 for a tiny cup of fruit or pudding. $3.29 for a Gatorade. We had to pay $5 for parking. They also wanted to charge for extra exhibits. Like they didn't already charge enough.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. You're better off going to a normal Children's Museum near you. Definitely not worth the money, or the time spent.

This place is amazing for ALL ages. Big group or little group you can experience everything in about 3 to 4 hours. So many things to do. Make sure you bring your lunch to save a little.

Disappointed and hoped for more. They have not changed the exhibition rooms, or the area in general, in 15 years.

The first time I went to COSI was a school field trip in middle school. I was so bored and disappointed with the huge lack of mentally stimulating exhibit rooms. Not only were there mainly boring "interesting facts", and boring ways to present them, but there were much less hands on exhibits than they lead on. The "ocean" room, which is less ocean and more movement of water, was a little sub that just sits there and you have to wait forever to even see that. And the other part of it was a giant water fountain. The rest was not working.

Fast forward 15 years later, I brought my kid because I was hoping things changed. Ocean room is still half not functional, and really boring. The little kids areas are ok, but there are so many kids in the little areas that you can't even enjoy it with your kid. The water play room would be cool if it did not have such a urine smell. I was afraid to let me kid touch anything including the carpet, let alone the water..... The medical exhibit has some promise, if they would add more hands on stuff. I was happy to see they were at least offering healthy alternatives to hotdogs and fries in the cafeteria, but the staff were slow and obviously unmotivated to be in customer service..

I'm giving stars for the random guy bringing a tarantula to pet in the hallways. And the random play things in the hallways. Those were cool. The medical exhibit had cross sections of an actual body. The kids play area was ok but needed some more variety of toys/ displays. That's all of the memorable experiences I have..

I'm astonished of the hype and the awards, because this place is so old, outdated and boring. The lobby when you walk in is the coolest part. The extreme lack of not only change to the exhibits, but presentation of mentally stimulating material, or more hands on exhibits, is disappointing. Never going here again, and I tell every parent I know to disregard all the hype, because that's what it is. If you have really smart and curious kids, bring them to the zoo and enroll them in some STEM extracurriculars instead of going to COSI..

Let me just start off by saying that this review space is way to overcrowded and that's why I'm writing this review. I know I can't help the fact that it's overcrowded and I'm still writing this review just to show you that! And no one is going to read your essay long reviews! It should be short and to the point! (This was created to stop people from complaining about things they can't control.) Thanks!

Cosi is fine. Not bad or good, fine. My biggest problem is that a lot of the exhibits are add-ons. I get that they need to pay bills, but the tickets are so expensive already! I have that problem with a lot of museums though, so Cosi isn't just getting a bad review for that. It is also always so crowded. Once it was so bad, that we literally had to wait for half an hour to get into one exhibit. Cosi is a good place to go once, but once you go there, it's not very fun to go back. We have a membership to Cosi, and the last time we went, we stayed for about one hour. Me and my brother spent about 20 minutes in the teen centre while my mom went to the kids area with my little sister, and then we went to the Science Cafe. The science cafe is a pretty fun and unique thing to do at Cosi. You go to the second floor, make a reservation, and then then go to other parts of the museum until you get a text to come back. It is a pretend cafe, but instead of food, you can order science experiments to do together. We did this with my cousins once, and it was actually pretty interesting. At the end of the day, Cosi is a fun place for kids if you haven't been. But don't buy a membership unless you're kids don't get bored easily.

I have always been impressed with COSI in visits there, but after learning that of all places, this child-centered business failed to report a child predator on the premises to the police I am deeply disappointed & shocked! I hope that they will change the way they handle such things going forward, for the safety of children! One would expect a place for children to be much more responsible I would suspect.

Great museum for all ages. The adults just as much fun with all the hands on exhibits as the kids. The volunteers are friendly and know their subject matter. The museum is clean and we'll put together. The only fault I saw was that there was a few attractions that we're add on for $5-8 per person. We spent about 3 hours to see everything.
