I've been going to this mall since I was a little kid and I swear, even as malls decline in America, foot and vehicular traffic both increase here. It's still a decent place to walk around and many of the exterior accessible restaurants are fine to visit but definitely be prepared for the crowds.

Nice mall, nothing fabulous or special. I went there Saturday late morning and parking was a joke. There was no close parking, which is good for the mall. The mall has a few unique stores, but like I said before nothing special. I would not drive more than 30 minutes to go there, just if I happened to be in the area again, which I do not live close (45 min) without traffic.

Lot of nice stores and food places.

Lot of nice stores and food places.
I did stop at one particular store looking for a dress displayed as a window display....asked about it and the sales lady was very, very nice
Got what I wanted and what a great sale it was!!!

I've been shopping here my entire life. I'm 26 now and would still choose Fair Oaks over Tysons any day. Tysons is for rich tools who spend too much money, in my opinion.

They have a two level Forever 21, one of my favorite shops, a Hot Topic which Tysons is lacking, and an overall better energy than Tysons. It's usually far less crowded than Tysons, which is great because you don't have to shove your way through idiots on their cell phones who block an entire walkway. Of course, there will always be those people, but it's much easier to get by them because there aren't as many.

It has a great selection of food and restaurants, such as Cheesecake Factory and a Brazilian Steakhouse, and your normal fast food chains like Auntie Anne's, Cinnabon and Elevation Burger.

This place is gigantic, it has any store you can think of and a couple of decent restaurants, an the stores aren t too exspensive. The mall can do a better job of putting up directories though. I walked around for a hour and had to call the store I was looking for to give me directions as to where they wer located.

I've always really liked this mall. It has a good selection of higher quality stores and products. There's a wide variety of options available and the restaurants surrounding it are really good. The facility itself is always clean and in nice condition. Compared to other malls in the area, it is as good or better than most. I would recommend, simply because of the food choices, alone!!

One of the best malls around in the area, especially if you live in fairfax or manassas. And if you are a student at George Mason then you can get to the mall for free by Mason shuttle for free with your Student ID. It has everything from food, clothes, makeup and shoes. Has a huge parking structure if you are driving.

What can I say. This is your prototypical mall, with a constant rotation of stores opening and closing. Sears has now reduced themselves to a single lower floor, with the upstairs a ghost town.

Restaurant choices are reasonable, and there are a few unique options. The Chinese noodle shop is pretty good.

The restaurants are fantastic, there are some good stores, but the mall itself is very outdated - both inside and out. With Fairfax Corner and Fair Lakes so close by, I rarely visit Fair Oaks anymore

Good

Love FairOaks. Has everything you need and isn t as chaotic as Tysons. Kids play areas and the holiday stuff Is neat too.

I try to avoid tysons as much as I can. There are some things not available in FairOaks but for the most part all stores are open and in use.

Not the biggest mall center but it has some nice stores just mostly stores are for the girls and women. Its very nice to stroll at and spend time. The Thai fast food was enjoyable, the mango chicken was awesome. It had a re-makeover recently and its very great architecture nice staircase kinda artsy if that what you like...my girl likes statues, the art makes no sense but it makes a strange conversation thats fun.

This mall offers a wide selection of stores and eateries. Nice and open lounge area with WIFI & charging outlets. Kid's playground is available as well. Fair Oaks Mall has been improved a lot over the years. Good mall.

Fair Oaks Mall provides a plethora of shopping for a variety of tastes and price ranges. The mall is usually fairly crowded and the mall is beginning to show it's age; however, it's stores and walkways provide plenty of entertainment for just walking around.

Standard mall store offerings with a small selection of food court restaurants.

It's very nice and decent place for shopping as well as fun hangout. It's a very huge mall with multiple entrance, so you have to decide which direction would you go and always remember your parking spot. This lots of brand store and the most biggest is the Macy's and JCPenny. Lots of parking space, clean public access restrooms, wheelchair access entrances. They also do festive decorations, so good to take kids here for fun. They have some good children play zones.

Good
