The Era of huge indoor shopping malls has passed by. A dinosaur.
It is an indoor mall with slightly more expensive shopping choices.
Big changes here over the past few years. Lots of stores closed. The owners of the individual stores I know said rent just kept increasing so it was not worth staying open. I do not understand why Dave and Busters so not have a mall door. To gain access you have to go outside and around the mall building. It would be nice to sneak off for a beer and some gaming while the spouse is shopping.
Nice shopping mall. Standard type stores. Clean bathrooms. Overall clean.
Very clean mall, lots of great stores and not overly crowded
Plenty of good stores to shop from. Not the biggest mall but overall it has everything from top to bottom. Plus the food places. Worth the trip
Very nice mall. Everything in one place. So many options of food as well shopping.
A nice mall. They have a good variety of affordable stores with a nice area for children.
Nice mall, good store selection, could use some updating.
Lots of places to go, great food court, and a nice place to hang out with friends.
Nice large traditional Americanesque shopping mall. About 1/3 of the stores have closed down due to COVID. I bought a nice wind-breaker at Hollister.
Great selection of shops, plenty of parking, and not usually too crowded.
I liked fair oaks mall because there is a variety of things
Like walking though a town. Love the shop choices and layout.
Nice mall with decent stores. The layout is a bit different, but once you get familiar, it is easier to navigate.
Has lotfood stores, and a children's place that's a learning lab. That's nice.
You can go shopping & eat . It is easy to park here
.
It is so big mall. I lost my time looking for elevator s. The signs to direct people are not organized well. Overall, we like JCPenney and Macy's. They decorated beautifully the mall for the holidays.
Gets very busy during weekends. Not that easy to find parking. Not as many stores as Tysons Galleria but they have the basic store selections from home to clothing to jewelry. Great restaurant options.
First mall in VA that I've been to. Was great located, big and clean, friendly staff.
I ve been here a few times and I like the kids area, the food options, and definitely the shopping options. It s too far from where we live otherwise I would shop there more often.
What Mall could you go to that has two Macy's to choose from?
Why is this place so crowded on weekends when so many stores have closed? Probably standing in line at the Starbucks? At last count there were 8 empty fronts.
Love traveling here to eat at Texas de Brazil, cheesecake factory or Dave n Busters..the mall has good options for shopping and is a good place to pass the time.
Oops, posted the description for this mall under Stone mall.
Best mall in the area! So many quality shops, good food options, and things to do. I'm not much of a mall person but I really do enjoy coming here.
Very nice mall, lots of upgraded common area seating and technology charging stations. Upscale restaurants are a big plus.
Oh i love jcpenny sear cvs n macy all in one n cheese cake factory n new gaming zone arcade which opened ther.i wished it had macdonalds too.play area is too good.scince center's kids fav place.
Close by, almost all shops, overall nice time pass on weekends
I rarely go into the mall but when i do i thoroughly enjoy the excitement my kids get when they viait Lego Land and the kids play area.
Pretty good mall! You see celebrities from time to time there and it has some pretty nice shops.
Daughter day out. Love. Love. Love our time together, reminded of my mom moments together
It's a mall. It is usually busy. Several stores are closing but they seem to be adding a few new stores to replace the losses.
Clean and well-maintained, fairly convenient location, some good food options. Nothing especially exciting, a bit bland.
Great place to shop because of the selection of retailers.
This place is dead. Not my favorite place to shop. I usually go Tyson s since there are more fun stores and it s larger. This mall is just for restaurants, and quick returns.
Plenty of parking, easy to social distance, maps are fairly easy to find since it's a fairly spread out mall.
Nice little mall, clean and plenty of space to move around; however, it could use a clear food court or better selection of restaurants.
Very nice big mall, reasonable prices.
There is an Apple store in the mall.
There are quite a few different types of shops in Fair Oaks Mall. My only gripe about the place is the layout of the mall and the parking lot. The mall is laid out like a medieval times town. The place is angled so that it looks larger than it actually is, but that means that you can't see all the way down a long hallway, or what is up ahead of you in the parking lot area.
It's dying. Stores closing. I usually go just for Kona Grill or Cheesecake Factory.
Very clean and styalized mall. Hardly ever a crowd that is too much of a crowd to enjoy the shopping. Every type of merchandise is represented by one or more stores. Parking is terrific; very convenient & much of it covered for those rainy/snowy shopping days. A mall that even men wouldn't mind going to with their significant others.
A large Mall although it does not have many stores. To highlight that there is an Apple Store and Macys.
It is worth visiting later to walk a little and look for offers after having eaten abundantly sushi buffet at Sushi On.
There are quite empty spaces in the side aisles.
The security of the mall may not allow you to take pictures ... crazy !!
Very clean Mall and very helpful store people in Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax Virginia I would recommend it to friends and go back
Not very interesting, and while not a dead or dying mall, has a lot of blank spaces. It's only crowded on the holidays.
