Corazon Club & Spa Review

Went to the swimming pool and had a great time! One staff member asked if we needed anything and we actually did need a band aid for my son which he quickly got! Extremely nice facilities!

Was here for a wedding reception: it is a beautiful building and a picturesque location. I was very impressed with the event staff as well.

I usually order take out, the food is packaged in environmentally friendly containers and never disappoints. Stop in and give it a try, the chef usually has nightly specials that have been wonderful as well! BTW if you ever have any issues just ask for Shane, a true caring manager!

This is a great restaurant with excellent food choices. It's delicious with friendly people and service. Amazing views on the patio (great for weddings too) and the atmosphere is very exquisite. The tennis courts are all clay and are the new water system which makes them nice as well. Would definitely recommend going to Corazon.

The Club at Corazon is and amazing all in one family cent where you can get a great workout, lounge in the Best locker rooms in Columbus, stay for dinner and have a drink too! It's a must if you live in Dublin or Plain City but also worth the drivevif you live in the surrounding area.

I have been here for a wedding and the Flying Feather 4 Miler a couple times. The site is always well maintained, the views are amazing, and the staff are pleasant and accommodating.

If you are considering having your wedding here, DO IT!!! As a wedding photographer, this is seriously one of the best venues I have ever worked with. First of all, it feels like you've stepped into ITALY when you go here. The building and the grounds are STUNNING, with beautiful walls filled with ivy, a fountain, and even a vineyard! The photo options are endless! Not only that, but what makes this venue truly amazing is the people who run it. The owners are so genuine and kind hearted, willing to above and beyond to ensure your special day is exactly as you pictured. I have always LOVED working with them on wedding days and cannot say enough great things about them! It's a fairytale venue for a classic bride who wants an outdoor wedding feel with an amazing ballroom space.

I attended a meeting hosted at the ballroom off the restaurant. The whole club facility is beautifully appointed. The view from the patio is equally beautiful. The restaurant menu has a variety of offerings. Ample free parking is available.The restaurant is open to the public for dinner T--F. The club has social memberships available for access to the pool and health club.

With a wonderful food and service, along with excellent facilities and ambiance, this establishment doubles as the perfect place to throw your event (wedding, reunion, corporate gig, etc.) or to simply grab dinner and drinks. The owner is friendly and engaging, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the chef is phenomenal. Put this place on your must-see list!

This place was very beautiful and lots of friendly staff.
Our event meal was made by the on site restraunt, it was very good. It was a chicken dinner with an amazing sauce on it, normally event chicken isn't very good, but this was some of the best I've ever had.

If I could give negative stars I would. By far the worst customer service experience in my life. Terrible communication, lack of honesty and integrity by the owners themselves. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The water in their pool is crystal clear and as refreshing as a Arnold Palmer on a hot day. Locker room was spotless with everything you need.

Had our wedding here and it was truly a fairytale dream come true. The venue itself is beautiful, not much decorating needed. The staff was phenomenal to work with. Food was delicious. I couldn't have dreamt of a better place! Highly recommend.

Worked here a year ago helping maintaining facilities. Place is poorly managed. The manager didn't provide sufficient tools for maintaining the facilities here. For instance, they provided 15 year old vacuums that didn't function properly and spew out dust. Co-workers often slacked off and hid during their shifts. Pay is worse than working in certain retail stores, yet you put in more work. I worked several closing shifts and had to pick up their slack.

Attended private Sikh wedding reception with catered ethnic food. Facility excellent for this event. Service above average.

We attended a wedding here late last year and to say it was terrible is giving it too much credit. The grounds were in terrible shape, landscaping a mess. The outside terrace was cracked and horribly uneven resulting in people tripping. Once it became dark outside, there was NO lighting in the front or back of the venue. When the management was asked about this, we were told they had a problem with it. An elderly couple fell outside because they couldn't see the curb. I'm not sure what happened with them after the incident. That's just outside. Inside, appetizers were scarce to none because we were told the kitchen ran out. The tables were missing bread plates, and different pieces of flatware, so sloppy! The person who was later identified to us as the owner walked around during the night in a very angry manner and we noted her yelling at some individuals. Unprofessional to say the least! Overall, we would never recommend this place to anyone and really felt sorry for the bride and groom because we could tell how stressed out they were due to the actions of the staff and owner. Beware!

As one of your wedding guests, relating a true reflection of my evening, a simple apology would have been sufficient without all of the accusations and deflections. I stand by my review as I was there that evening, witnessed and experienced the events. You were not there and therefore cannot speak to them. If you had been, I m confident you would be in agreement. In reference to the length of time it took me to write my review, there are no set time limits on when someone can write a review. Possibly you are not aware of everyone s life s situations. Things that you may not be aware of happen in other s lives. Again, I mentioned it was LATE last year, not just last year as you describe. I will close with I now better understand why I walked away with the negative feeling that I did. Your note solidified it for me. I wish you grace.

My sister had a wedding here and it was amazing. The wedding and reception was great. They turned the wedding room into the reception by just removing one wall. The staff was great and the food wasnt half bad either. I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding.

Great workout areas and spacious men's locker room. It's never crowded when I go in the morning, which is a huge benefit. The staff members are a very friendly and helpful.

Went to a wedding there and they charge way to much for what they offer, on that special day they suppose to make the wedding couples special and I felt like it was nothing to them. Zero decoration outside zero, the suppose to be dance floor lights were on all night. Their staff it s very rude does not communicate at all.

Our son s wedding reception (on 9-1-18)was handled beautifully; the food was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful in every way. I was very agitated about one small detail (as mothers sometimes are, with weddings), but the staff calmed me down and made all my concerns disappear. Kudos to the Club at Corazon, and thank you!

It was a privilege to serve The Club at Corazon's members during my 2 years here. I have fond memories of this beautiful, terrific club. What a fantastic place to invest in your health, dine & connect! Although the prior owner (and an especially detrimental, outside management company) did not hold the members & club as a priority, it is wonderful to see that it is under new ownership. The Club at Corazon is a *beautiful and truly unique place,* within an outstanding neighborhood. I hope this club continues to thrive under new ownership!

From the very beginning of our contract with Oya, the owner, she and her management team became non-existent. It took weeks for them to return emails and phone calls, during a time when this is supposed to be a happy time for a bride. However, this was the most stressful time of our lives. She made it unbearable. When she would finally respond, she would answer one question out of 5 and then the cycle would continue. We had to always fit our meetings around her schedule because she only works a couple days a week and lives out of town. At one point she made 7 people reschedule our appointment to another day and she still didn't show up, and this was for our final walkthrough! The turnover in her venue is terrible. We were assigned 4 different event planners in one year because her staff kept quitting. One person that was assigned to us never once contacted us in an ENTIRE MONTH after so many emails and phone calls never being returned that I can't even count. I have all of the documentation to prove this and would be happy to provide it to anyone wanting it. On the day of the wedding, my husband spent the day cleaning up the grounds of debris in order for it to look nice for our daughters wedding. We have video of this. Oya also saw him doing this and laughed, thinking it was funny. This is not what the father of the bride should be doing on the day of his daughter's wedding while the owner looks on. It was heartbreaking to me and my daughter. Our cocktail hour was cut significantly short as Oya opened the doors to the reception room after she was specifically asked not to causing guest to leave the cocktail area prior the bride and groom showing up from picture taking. Thus, they didn't have time to mingle with the guests. This may have been done because they ran out of appetizers that were paid for but never served. The final straw was that we had money and an expensive veil stolen from a supposedly secured area of the venue and when asked for assistance in trying to determine what may have happened to it, we were denied assistance from Oya and her staff. According to our contract, it states the area where the money and the veil were taken from was under video surveillance. We filed a police report, however the police had no better luck. We and the police were denied access to the video. Additionally, she has refused to return our security deposit to us after numerous attempts to understand why it hasn't been returned. All we have received from her are ridiculous and bogus accusations, going so far as to make claims that have been refuted by phone and in writing to her by our vendors, and also contradicted by her own conversations with four different individuals. She has now indicated she will no longer speak to us and for us to call the front desk if we need anything, which is also laughable because they have caller ID and won t answer the phone either. There are several other things that I could go on to list, but will just implore others to please do your homework before hiring this or any venue, but specifically The Club at Corazon. We found out too late. Had we done our homework prior to signing a contract with them, we would have heard all of the negativity surrounding this venue, it's management and it's owner, Oya. If you sign their contract, you have absolutely no escape clause for yourself and are not protected in any way. Lastly, Oya contests her negative reviews which results in them being deleted on The Knot per my personal conversation with them, as well as having employees post 5 star ratings to skew the reviews on here and all wedding sites, so be sure to read all positive reviews closely. How detailed are they? Are they from a person that actually went through the process of working with them on a wedding or a random reviewer or a Local Guide ? Make sure to read all negative reviews as these individuals took the time to tell what really happens behind closed doors.

I visited on December 29. The staff was wonderful, very attentive and helpful. They made my visit very enjoyable.

I was recently here for an engagement party and I was blown away with how beautiful this venue is. The staff was super helpful, the food and beverages were great and the overall experience was amazing. I heard the couple just locked in their wedding date so I am looking forward to returning again for their special day. I highly recommend for any event!

Gorgeous venue and absolutely loved working with Oya! They are so accommodating and truly care about the venue and the events. Would recommend this venue to anyone! If you're getting married.... you HAVE to look at Corazon!!!

Beautiful club! Was there for a wedding reception. Very inviting, comfortable, and a great aesthetic.

Signed up with Melissa in May under the premise pay for only what you want. We were concerned about signing up as we were unsure how often we would actually get to use the facility this summer. Melissa assured us we can cancel any day or change, add, delete the membership on any given day. She said it was very easy, and you only pay for what you want. We were also told by Melissa as well as advertised on their website in May and the flyer she gave us about an adults only hot tub area. We went to the pool and for the 3 weeks we went the hot tub was closed. We emailed Melissa to inquire what was going on and to add our daughter to membership and we were told Melissa is no longer with them. We were also told they have never had a adults only hot tub, I emailed a screen shot of their own website showing that it said exactly that and got no response back. We had another issue arrive from info we were told by Melissa that again got an answer of sorry she told you that but it s simply not true and not provided here. We went in to cancel and were now told ok but it will take 30 days so we still had to pay 30 days more of something we weren t using. So as you can see we were lied to when Melissa signed us up. It s not no contracts and cancel anytime because yes you can walk in and cancel but you will still be billed 30 days making it NOT pay for only what you want. We were given the run around, it took in some cases 2 weeks to even get back to us. The pool is nice but the employees are rude and mislead you to get the sale.

Waited 10 mins while multiple waitresses looked at us but didn't come over to seat us. Please was not that busy but way under staffed. Didn't look clean or organized either

I officiated a wedding at the Club at Corazon, and the people who work there are so nice! Everything was organized, my dinner was excellent and the view of the lake was spectacular! I look forward to more weddings there.

Hey Jon, I wanted to take a moment to address your comments to Erika H's most recent review - for our wedding on October 3rd, 2020, my grandparents fell outside on the front curb due to lack of lighting and it was noted to your staff of the occurrence. So to say nothing has been reported for 2 years is false. I addressed many of the issues Erika stated in my previous review which you removed, which was posted in a timely manner after our wedding. It does not matter when someone posts a review, if the account is accurate, everyone has the right to review when they can. How terrible of you to respond the way you did. As Erika said, many of the staff also yelled and were rude to our guests, appetizers were sparse, Oya walked around making the evening uncomfortable for all and items, including my veil, were stolen. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS VENUE. Terrible management, communication, no respect for their clients.

I attended a wedding at this club. It was lovely and the food was fabulous!

This is probably my fourth time as a member here, as the club has gone through several bankruptcies/closures. I surely hope this time it's going to last, this is why I'm not giving it one star. Last night, as I got in around 7:30PM (the club closes at 9PM), there was a guy cleaning the carpet on the second floor, with what looked like a Kroger-rented carpet cleaner, while about four people where on the floor, exercising. Needless to say, the carpet did not look wet where I was and I slipped as I was trying to do my regular exercise on the BOSU ball. No carpet cleaning should be going on while guests are using the space, in my opinion, it's just common sense and professional courtesy. Plus, with wet carpet can come injuries, and no one needs a lawsuit. I was told when I joined, two weeks ago, that the carpet would be replaced this year (it is the original one and in a very sorry state). I am now wondering if that was only a sales pitch. Same with the pool divider that's missing in the indoor pool and the fountain at the entrance, which is not working. To get money out of this beautiful (but in need of repairs) place management will need to invest a little in things that are very visible and cater a bit to its customers by at least ensuring they have a good-looking place where to exercise and keeping the dirty laundry washing for before or after hours, customers do not need to witness that.
