A cozy place and beautiful scenery to be experienced. The animals are better off in other countries, more space to romp.

Another attraction in this beautiful Copenhagen. Many animals, beautiful butterflies. Souvenirs as always many to choose from. Panda not to be missed. Nearby is a very nice park. It takes about 3 hours to make a complete tour. Unmissable.

Big, nice and smashing nice. The animals thrive and the smiling staff.

Please don't visit this dirty place !!
You kill your animals if they have no more space or if they don't know where else to hand them in, if they are too old or there are simply too many !!!!

Avoid this zoo no matter how beautiful it may appear.

This is my opinion!!!!! Everyone must of course decide for themselves and agree with their conscience.

Very nice zoo some problems with some of the cages being under construction but overall good

Cozy place where you can quickly spend a whole day just walking around. Super good playground that I can remember from childhood.

Nice compact zoo. High quality facilities. Be aware though that they charge you more than the ticket price when paying with credit card under the reason that your bank adds an additional charge. This is not true. They or their bank add an additional charge. And you only see that when pressing ok. Not a word on the extra charge. So at the entrance you already feel ripped off.

It's just as good to walk around and look at the expensive ones. If you are into Pokemon-Go it is also recommended. There are many Pokestops

An excellent zoo - small in area, but rich in various species of animals. There is a small tropical zone where birds and animals walk without cages. A very interesting meeting took place with a red panda. Definitely worth a visit to animal lovers. On the territory there are several cafes and tents with food.

Nice place for children. It is incredibly expensive and there is much better for cheaper prices. The animals are not always visible and you can not close to any of the animals.

Nice zoo. Seems like some of the animals have little space.

You pay 180 and all the animals either sleep or laze but still a nice day with the family

One of the best Zoos I visited ever! Great balance between the animal places size and the amout of walking required to visit all the animals. The variety of their animal collection is amazing. Also, restaurants, cafes and bathroom services were excellent

Copenhagen Zoo is in my eyes a dynamic place that over the years has found the money to give the animals much needed space. It's great to see. I am pleased to be able to celebrate the joy of animals for my children, as well as the knowledge Copenhagen Zoo, is so great to convey.

This is the zoo that killed 4 healthy lions and 1 giraffe to 'make room' for new animals.

Great visit to the Copenhagen zoo. Not too far outside the city and public transport stops right outside. Had to reduce 1 star as a lot of building work going on for the new panda enclosure. In sure it will be awesome once done though. The enclosures seem to be large enough for the animals to be able to roam around a lot and the keepers seem to care for their animals. Would love to visit again when visit again assuming the panda enclosure is finished.

It was hard to find around. Guide to the animals on the walkways might be the solution?

Super good experience with lots of exotic animals. Too bad we just hit the 8 hours the Pandas sleep.

Many animals really good opportunities to sit and relax while looking at the animals. Really good place for kids as well as adults. It is a place where you can easily spend a whole day just looking at the many animals and enjoying that there is often at least one child who screams out of laughs when an animal is skiing ...

A nice zoo making for a good half-day excursion with the kids.
There's plenty of animals to look at and you get very close to them.
The polar bears were impressive to see.
Taking into account that admission is free if you have the "Copenhagen Card" it's definitely worth a visit if you stay for a few days.

We spent a nice afternoon visiting Copenhagen Zoo in Denmark. The zoo was only a tube and a bus ride away from the centre of Copenhagen. The zoo had a vast amount of animals, including lions, pandas and polar bears. We found the Copenhagen Cards very helpful towards this afternoon, as we used it for the transport as well as the zoo entry.

Fantastic experience and beautiful surroundings for the animals. Many lovely corners of the view, beautiful places to sit and have fun.

A wonderful experience to come to the Zoo. It was amazing to see the two pandas. I think it has been very positive for the animals inside and several places where you can have something to eat. A nice place for kids and adults

The zoo is worn down and I think the animals have too small cages. The food is terrible (don't eat). Not a great experience overall, but it's always fun to look at animals.

I loved it, especially the gorillas, and also being able to have cold beer while visiting the animals.

If it was cheaper I would be there once a week!
After the new renovations have been made, the place is still the same amazing place, but with renovated and modern facilities. I love when I can finally afford to take a walk in the garden and enjoy the animals. For people who board nearby and can afford it, I would recommend a year pass as the animals arrive at different times and there is always something new to experience. It may be that one day only some animals meet, while the other day some others. The garden is well decorated, with plenty of space for strolling as well as having a logical road all around. It is clearly a place that is for everyone of all ages as well as for people whether on wheels or feet. ;)

Perfect place to spend a couple of hours. Great variety of animals, most of them in pretty large enclosures (at least in comparison to some other zoos).
Also a lot of trees which makes your stay enjoyable on hot days during summer.

There is always something new in the zoo. The new plants are pluses for the animals 'well-being and the guests' experience.

It was many years ago. Especially the elephant department is really nice and reminiscent of Africa. The pandas were a little lazy that day. We borrowed a wheelchair and could arrive everywhere. In short, a good day.

I have not been there since 2012. And I have not seen the new facility that the polar bears have got. And I think it's a cool plant they've got. Otherwise a great trip for my kids.

The new facilities live up well to the ZOO's own goals of experiences architecture and sustainability, but the older facilities lack an upgrade. There is a clear difference between being a Nandu or a Polar Bear

The pandas are just so cute. But keep up where they are big / long when they get up and go

I enjoyed the fact that the zoo is well designed and the animals look happy. You get lost quickly but various restaurants at fair prices are available. The zoo and located outside the city easy to access by bike.

We went here wen it was renowaiting so one part of the zoo was off limits but everything else was really intresting we spend the whole day there

Lovely as usual t. Despite many many people. Bode with delicious food. Purchased an annual card for my 2 student grandchildren. I love the zoo!

Wonderful place for families with children. A huge zoo, where to eat, a lot of different ice cream.

Very fun in the beginning when you are there, but after seeing all the animals it gets boring VERY quickly. And I have no idea why. Still recommend taking a trip over here

Beautiful experience, the Copenhagen Zoo under Christmas. Although there is a bit 'of work in progress and many animals moved indoors, there is still much to see. We will be back in the summer!

The zoo was fine, not so much a party, but the Christmas trees were beautiful. Restaurant People was something of a fuser, out of 7 things, 2 had expired. Chose the crab that was soft on the outside and cold inside. The user was good.

Too many were locked in already at opening. Do not control the number at the places with restriction.

Weather was rainy when I went but it was still lovely! Huge space, with nice cozy restaurants inside. Very nicely built, can't believe it's a zoo! Will come back when it's nicer weather for sure

Zoo in Valby, Copenhagen is always a great experience for big and too small. Although I think the entrance fee is a bit too expensive, I would not hesitate to recommend others for a trip to the Zoo - especially if you have children.

A great day spent in the Zoo with 2 and 4-year-old kids.

Lovely place. However, we are missing some halal food.

Lots of building work and not many animals around on this visit. Very disappointing.

Hi, it was really nice so we would love to come again

Nice to see the animals, but think it is too dirty both with weeds and dirty water with duck food etc. The glasses at the underwater animals were full of algae. In the long-sleeved monkeys, it was nothing but stinging nettles. Seems maybe they have had plenty of time to sort out some issues during the corona closure
