I was excited to come here, however, I found the experience upsetting. The pens are small, unclean and all the animals were constantly pacing looking very sorry for themselves.
I imagine it would be exciting for children to see all the different animals they have to offer, but I couldn t help feeling sorry for the animals which meant we left after half an hour.
Seemed a little dilapidated, but maybe more bumy chance than design delivered some amazing moments.
Wonderful trip. We saw all the animals we passed also the panda we chose, despite the season, to eat out in the city when we were a group of 15. Nice to see that new housing for the animals is constantly being worked on.
The sand sculpture festival is amazing. Free guided tours of the threatening animal species that the sculptures show. Beautiful zoo with space for play

A wonderful day in a corona adapted zoo. The animals were a bit slack due to the hot weather but they still seemed to thrive and feel good.
Zoo is always a trip every day, today the greatest experience was to see the dwarfs eat food, one herring each, 2 of the oats were faster to eat than the 3 who had to struggle to keep their peace
Panda is very active eating bamboo shoots in front of everyone. Very special, HK pandas always sleeping behind rocks. Tokyo pandas rarely appear in public. Other animals are very happy in this zoo, lions, otters, polar bears always be seen happy around.
There is a lack of signage where the various animals are located. I couldn't find the gorillas. Hard to find around in missing clues.
It is always fun and educational to come to Copenhagen Zoo. Today we saw a giraffe feeding a little cub.
Great playground for the kids where we spent 2 hours.
Many of the big animals seemed to be stressed .. the park itself was nice

A beautiful zoo with many new enclosures so that you can see the animals well. What is missing is a designated tour.
Nice zoo, still under construction for the reception of pandas unfortunately. Otherwise, the part on the arctic circle is top and it is very easy to see the animals (no fences). Kangaroos are very sweet. But the primate space is not very well ventilated.
t's a great feeling to be just few meters far from a huge polar bear.

Best zoo in Scandinavia. I was very happy to say cheerful penguins, seals, panda and Tasmanian devil. Very well maintained zoo and close to city centre. If you plan to visit, dedicate one whole day to explore this fantastic place :)

Ate with grandchildren on the panpan and were lucky he was sitting right outside our table. Lovely lunch box she got, great experience remember ordering table.

An absolutely fantastic zoo. It's not the biggest around, but it holds its own and you can easily spend 5-6 hours here if you appreciate zoos. What it lacks in size it makes up for in having a ton of exotic and interesting animals, and they frequently host events with everything from feeding and training to getting to interact with the less dangerous residents. Definitely worth a visit, and a great bike ride from central Copenhagen with dedicated bike lanes all the way from Raadhuspladsen to the front gate.

BEAUTIFUL RAINFUL DAY WHERE ALL THE ANIMALS WERE INTRODUCED IN DRY WEATHER AND WAS AS GOOD WE CAN EXPLAIN THE CHILDREN THAT THE ANIMALS WOULDN'T LOVE THE CHILDREN LIKE THE LOVE -700 kr, and had to settle for some shabby coffee, probably "BKI" who could not live or maybe some remnants from the big belt color of time.

Love the kbh zoo. Is there often with my daughter. However, I am sorry that the lions still have not been able to upgrade their area. Could they need it.
Bring a good experience with children, and the polar bear up close is shocking

Absolutely not a shit.
The animals have poor conditions, small areas to walk on.
The zoo it self is very interesting and the staff are helpful.
Then it was time for a trip to the cph zoo and here you have to get up early to get it all with it is huge we found out that we had spent almost 2 hours almost walking around in a circle thought Copenhagen zoo can be a bit manageable and hard to find but nice staff who do everything to help different options to buy food and drink as well as a small merchandise from the zoo shop certainly not the last time we visit cph zoo and next time we will probably have easier to find around =)
If there are not many people, it is very cozy, however, food and other accessories are a bit expensive
The Copenhagen Zoo is well worth a visit - you can bring your own food, and there's plenty of picnic-ing spots, a lovely day out!
Buy your year pass here. The zoo becomes more beautiful and more animal friendly for every dollar you spend on it.
