A very nice way to spend the day, outdoor so I recommend visiting when it the weather is fine. A lot of different animals and sections, with mostly interesting displays (some displays naturally make it difficult to see all animals at all times, but any zoo would be that way). In order to see all animals, a little bit of backtracking and working with the map is required, but overall worth a visit!

Great zoo. Was an experience for sure. Awesome polar bear exhibit, brown bear was sleeping but it's in the winter. Pandas were fairly inactive aswell but that's probably just their way of life. A lot of empty exhibits with no signs that they weren't there which meant we waited for nothing basically which was a bit annoying. Would I visit again? Probably not.

A cannon experience for the kids.
But keep up where there are many animals that look as if they are not well .

Much better than I remembered it. Great to be able to walk among kangaroos. Their food stalls are very slow.

Beautiful place. located on the outskirts of the city but easily accessible by bus. in this zoo you can find lots of animals of all orders. you can even find kangaroos and you can even pet them and there are also polar bears. great for both adults and children

One of the best zoos I've ever been to, exceptionally well done. Educational and very interesting stories and information. Nice places to stop and eat.

The park is very well landscaped and there are many different species.

We spent three hours on a Sunday afternoon enjoying the Zoo. It occupies a fairly large site with the animals spread out into continents. In September 2018 work is ongoing building a new large panda enclosure due to have 3 pandas, hopefully opening in 2019.
Nice zoo for adults and children alike, although young children benefit from being pulled around by the parents in little trucks.
All the animals you expect are there and most relatively close by in very safe enclosures.
Not so many places to eat all tend to be snack orientated we did not find a nice ait down restaurant.

Hmm maybe they should change the menu card in children's zoo and other zoo ... Not all children eat vegetarian burger

In glorious sun we went and visited the animals in the zoo Copenhagen. Here it was all kind of animals. And good with seating and you could buy all kinds of food. A very nice place and walk around and look at all the animals. Will be happy again.

A wonderful place not only for a getaway with children. A place where you can read a book on a bench in the kangaroos.

Lovely park could well be more toilets or better reference to more especially at entrance

I enjoyed my visit to the zoo, but I thought some of the enclosures seemed a little small for what was in them (that could just be my conceptions from previous zoo's I've been to though). Would be a nice place to take kids, but as an adult I felt as zoo's go it wasn't out of the ordinary. Basically, if you have kids and don't go to very many zoo's then go ahead, but otherwise it isn't worth a special trip.

A very high-level zoo located on the immediate outskirts of Copenhagen, easily reachable by public transport, with many animals present in modern and well-made structures with many illustrative panels, many services offered, beautiful to see the Danish families taking their children for a walk on the carts of wood provided by the zoo being large enough to prepare for a nice walk but there are several rest points and picnic areas. the visit to the Copenhagen card price is included

Have seen for the first time light in and at Zoo beautiful experience

It had many parts designed for children to enjoy. The animals were in very good condition and clean, there was a good amount of approach to them, I really liked it.

I visited with my teen son who loves animals, and we both left sad and disappointed. First of all, the entrance fee is very high considering there was a lot of construction and not many animals to see at all. The animals we did see was a mixed experience. The polar bear and the leopard was pacing in very small enclosures, it was heartbreaking! The tropical bird room was ok, but didn't really make up for everything else. It's easily the worst zoo I've been to. I'm sorry, I have to be honest. It felt like we'd entered a closed down zoo which had forgotten to take some of the animals with them. We didn't even take out the camera.

There were too many people ... too many people are allowed in and it is not possible to get close to the animals if you also have to keep your distance. So we did not see so many animals and we stood in long queues to get in or just to get some food or drink.
It's just not ok to let so many in it ruins the good experience for everyone. I have never experienced so many in the zoo before ... and so right in these COVID19 times..it was not possible to keep my distance ..

Overpriced and it also seemed worn.

Very nice to see that the animals get better room and new fencing. The children's area is also at the top with plenty of space.

Nice big zoo with all kinds of animals worth seeing. Well-kept, large enclosures. A big panda home is currently being built, we would have loved to see it.

In all honsty after reading the raving reviews i was hoping to see a zoo were i don't feel sorry for the animals. But i still think a pacing polar bear doesn't belong on a fake rock in the middle of humans watching it all the time.
That being said its probably a fun day the kids with play grounds all over.

I like seeing animals in their natural environment, we walk around and even play with some. It was all fun.

Beautiful, well-organized zoo. Not that big so doable in a day. Many playgrounds for children and also extensive information in several languages. The animals looked good and healthy and the animal species were fun and varied.

I would never visit this zoo. A Perfectly healthy young giraffe was executed in front of crowds because he was considered surplus to requirements! Wrong on so many levels. No to this hell-hole.

Also if you want to go in there with your children and are a single mother then mom. Could well make some discounts on some things if you come to a large family we were nine when we were in there

A lovely zoo, and a wonderful day out with kids. Compared to England it's not that expensive either. Fun playground and goat pen you can go into to stroke the goats which the kids love.

so good and it comes included on your Copenhagen card!! great atmosphere and animals seem very happy. make sure you go visit the polar bear and watch him do a few laps chasing fish, it was very entertaining

It was remodeling when we were here, which maybe affected a bit. Think it was a bit tricky to find out despite the map we picked up with us from the information. It was too much to reach everything in one day with two small children in record heat ...

Beautiful rainforest with butterflies and birds. Lots of exciting things to see for everyone else in the park.

Good with toilets and food and drink in most places and also play equipment.

But the elephants were sad to watch.

It was a nice Christmas decoration that had come up, but there was a little too much building for the new Panda fencing.

A very nice place but there is a lot of construction at the moment.

We have been very impressed how close we got to the animals. If you are sporty enough you should not only watch the anmials but also climb up the zoo tower. Great view over Kopenhagen.

Great zoo with large enclosures for the animals, to give them plenty of room to roam.
