This zoo is absolutely amazing! Animals look well looked after!

The animals' well-being has really been taken into account.. ..beautiful and exciting Zoo

Wonderful garden, which is incredibly nice. Most animals have amazing conditions, however, we thought polar bears mother with young, could have more space. The same goes for the okapi, they should also have more space. Your toilets should be checked a little more often, as they were not particularly clean. Think of all the tourists who visit your garden, a nice garden, many beautiful animals, good eating places, but unclean toilets. That could well be done something about. Otherwise, only praising words from here. Great and helpful staff.

Beautiful garden with generally good facilities for the animals. However, still larger plants are missing for the polar bears.

Extensive building design destroys part of the experience.

Another lovely day at the Zoo, there seemed to be a lot of new successful projects ... up to the end since I was there last, well enough some years ago but well done ..

Great focus on animal welfare, it can go a bit beyond the view of the guests, but the animals are most important

Good place to spend a couple of hours. The expansion with the Savannah enclosure is particularly good, where the animals have more space to run around.

They also have an area targeted at children.

Release the animals. Far too crowded for the animals.

Always the best place! Children's paradise but always with something for all ages! Although there were many, there was plenty of space and people mostly adhered to the one-way street. I hope they keep them, it makes so much sense.

Great for kids. If you plan to stay long,it will be advisable to come with own food water and comfortable shoes.

Zoo is still changing and thank goodness for it! There are many super experiences for even the smallest.

It has become a nice garden, which is just sad that you can not get anything to eat after kl1700.de cities we were at were closed.
Looking forward to seeing the new things that are being created, was very happy to see the beautiful sand sculptures that have been made, hope they come back again.

Best zoo I've seen in a long while. Close up to the elephants, seals , polar bears. Good food as well. Recommended

Amazing place! Such a wide variety of animals. One can easily spend a day here and still have a few things left to see. Not to mention it's a great destination for families with kids. The little ones are going to love it here. The animals appear well taken care off and one can see that effort is put into making the specific enclosures closer to the natural habitat of the animal inside.

They do not take responsibility to ensure well-being of the animals. The giraffe story was really outrageous!

I loved this zoo. They have a good selection of animals and wildlife. There's a lot of free learning through play for kids as well as petting animals. If you don't want to be taken aback by prices for snacks there are plenty of places to bring and eat your own lunch in front of the animals.

Been to better zoos, didn't see the pandas due to work going on. Parts of it seem a little neglected.

Lovely zoo and you can get "up and close" to the animals. Some of the enclosures are a little small but it's very spacious for a city zoo and they've done a lot with the spaces and what animals they have.

Loved the animals and we managed to catch a feeding /talk of the bears which is one of the best I've seen yet (from my limited knowledge of Danish).

Boards/signs are available in Danish/ English and theres a bus outside the zoo so it's easy to get too.

There's a great addition of a petting zoo which I think was fantastic for kids. Lots of food options and places for kids to play.

Would definitely recommend on a trip to the city.

A wonderful place to walk around for hours and enjoy the exciting and fascinating animals. This time the tapir had a 10 day old cub

A really good experience ... came early in the day before the animals had become dull ... the elephant kid had a party in the water and many were watching ... wonderful experience ...

There is nothing much nicer than a zoo. Although in some places the garden needs some renovation, it was a lovely experience.

Still a good place to visit - a little abundant construction site here off season

Well-visited excursion destination that is most appreciated by the children. The big animals have been crowded but it has become a bit better since the first visit in 1959. Single plants are almost completely unchanged since the first visit. The price level is quite high in relation to the supply. Entrance costs DKK 195 for adults and SEK 105 for children (3-11 years). No discount for seniors. The easiest way to get there is to go public by bus 6A. The number of parking spaces is very limited and count on long walking distance if you take the car.
The staff at the establishment are helpful and friendly. The information is good but not in Swedish.

Nice to go with the family and easily accessible with bus 6A. Stops at the door, for the way back.

Beautiful to spend a day with the children.
The most impressive is the polar bears that can be seen swimming in the transparent tank.

Very pretty and nice zoo. However, it was being renovated when I visited (Jan-2018) and the experience suffered because of it. I would recommend that you bring some drinks from home as they can be quite expensive inside the zoo.

Lots of animals that function well and well suited wild with the 2 new pans the ones too dear and not to forget the beautiful snowy owl the playful polar bears that you can see under water / get close so you can really feel their size
There is plenty in the children's zoo, so the children do not get bored, and can walk among goats, etc ..
2 wonderful shops to buy wonderful quality things and several small stalls with coffee ice cream etc, as well as several eating places if you have the purse with otherwise there are plenty of restaurants where you can sit down with your packed lunch beer / water / coffee..good trip

Sueme sleep already after 15min the animals do not move when they are depressed

Many missing signs that the animals were not there. Very obscure water / dirty so the animals could not be seen. Disrespect for others by keeping distance especially adults who stood in front of the children and had no control over their own children. Toilets not okay paper on the floor and not clean

One of the best zoos in Europe. Small but very interesting. We are fortunate to see Tasmanian devils!

This is the best zoo I ve ever been to! You feel so close to the animals! I was even close enough to (sneakily) touch some! Don t try to touch the sea lions though, they don t like it

The zoo is undergoing a renovation in these years, which means strange oscillations and barriers. Nevertheless, I enjoy seeing the improvements it means for the selected animals, for example. for the Tasmanian devils, the Savannah where mixed animals are walking around and the improved playground for children.

Many cute animals to look at. Many hours can go by.

Nice and nice. The Polar Bear House is worth a visit in itself. Excellent playground for the smallest and reasonable space on the footpaths even on busy days.

Buy beetles from home with advantage. There is always a queue at the entrance.

Animals must live in their natural surroundings.
People should know better. Cells are not for animals by nature.

There always good to go to zoo mall especially to see the forehead

Quite good in general, enjoyed being there with my 2 yo, but few things could've kept cleaner. For ex. We couldn't see polar bear since the water was very muddy with almost no visibility. Otherwise all in all a good experience.

Amazing variety of beautiful animals, the polar bears came very up close very relaxing and spacious. Wide variety of food for vegetarians, and vegans as well. Would highly recommend!

It was raining, cold and miserable. But the animals were as fascinating as ever and a great price

Lovely place with lots of entertainment when the animals are fed. There are summaries of when this happens. There are also kids activities.

One of main attractions of Denmark! Variety of creatures in around 27 acres of land.. Worth visiting.. Will get tired of walking at the end.. Still would get a good time to enjoy with kids..

Nice playgrounds. Family friendly. Bring your own food or buy from the shops. Entry is a bit expensive but generally a very nice zoo

At the moment (April 2018) there is a large construction site in the zoo (for the pandas). When the construction is finished, there will be 5 stars again! A clean zoo with enough food outlets for people. You shouldn't feed the animals anyway. There are many different types of animals from all over the world. Elephants, lions, monkeys, flamingos, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, amphibians, ..., a great tropical house, ... also a petting zoo with a playground for the little ones.
