Very clean and nice helpful employee! The fish look healthy and well taken care of....

This is probably my 4th or 5th order from the Coop and their service has always been excellent. However, I put an order in at 10:30am this morning and by 11:15am they sent me my 'order on the way' email with a tracking number! Outstanding responce time from the Coop warehouse team. This is why your customers keep coming back.

I bought the Easy Green fertilizer a couple banana plants and a dwarf lily and they're all doing great!! I always get a response if I have a question...great customer service!

With all the informative YouTube videos Cory has made, it has been easier to not freak out about not getting the size, color and (seemingly) healthy plants I purchased. Over a couple years of buying plants, they may seem "not so fantastic" but after they have been in their homes for a while, I have never had a "bad" purchase. The whole experience was easy and worth the extra few cents for the customer service and not feeling like just a number.

Cory is an extremely knowledgeable aquarium hobbyist and store owner. I appreciate his desire to educate and help other hobbyists as part of his business. His videos are very helpful, informative and humorous. I've been in the hobby for 50 years (omg, I"m old!) and I still am learning, and enjoy what Cory has to offer. Thanks for all you do, Cory!

Shop has nothing but small community fish and shrimp for a nano tank. No catfish, no cichlids, no nothing with any size beauty or personality. Very basic selection, id compared to petco/petsmart. No reason for this shop as there are plenty of bread and butter chains already.

Went to Aquarium Co-Op today for their expertise and species. I was not disappointed! I had all my questions answered quickly and accurately and advice on species that would work well in my tank. All tanks were healthy and staff were helpful, also Murphy, the mbu puffer, is awesome and so affectionate! It was a hour and a half trip but well worth it, thanks Aquarium Co-Op!

This place is awesome. I ordered things off their website and not only did they get here before they were expected to but also came in great condition and in great packaging. I bought a plant from them and it came and I put it in my aquarium and it grew amazingly and doubled in size in a week. I would recommend them to anyone who has an aquarium

Best local fish store in the Seattle area! Beautiful store, beautiful fish, and such variety of stock, equipment, and decor. They do it right, so you know you're getting healthy fish. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Note: it's very warm inside on account of heating the tanks so take off any jackets before coming in. Best to leave them in the car.

Best online customer service in the aquarium business.

I ve had a few orders shipped across country from them. Super fast arrival. Everything packaged nicely. I did have one minor problem and they fixed it immediately with no problem whatsoever. Thank you Aquarium Co-op! I will continue to use you for online aquarium needs.

Super fast shipping but mostly I love the information available thru the website, Youtube videos and from the retail store.

10/24/20 packaged live plants arrived in two days in excellent condition. Plants were just as described. Aquarium Co-op offers lots of helpful videos and they are spot on with their recommendations. I've been keeping fish for a long time and I always learn something new from their utube videos. Appear to be a good outfit I can trust.

Came in an he was waiting on one customer. By the time he finished about 7-10 minutes 2 more had come in besides my self. He waited on them first. If this is the way they treat customers I wont be back.

I have watched many of their videos in preparation for starting my planted aquarium. Videos had good information and were very helpful. I ordered my plants and other accessories and they arrived quickly in THREE DAYS and I live across the country from them. Not to mention it was during COVID and the week of Christmas. Very happy with the quick delivery. I even received a free sticker! Very happy with my first experience and plan to order from them in the future.

Cool place, exceptionally knowledgeable staff. Very easy to work with, really helped me understand what I was buying and what was a good fit. I was looking for some larger fish, too (I have a large tank), but they didn't have much for large breed fish (even like silver dollars), so don't go in there expecting a good choice of large breed fish. They do have a good selection of fish, though, just mid size and lower - although they did have a single arawana - go figure... Excellent staff, you won't be disappointed in this place

absolutely the freshest innovative snout to tail sushi restaurant I have ever visited.staff can be a bit uptight, it's like they habe never worked in a restaurant. spoke with the owner nice guy, but I'm not even sure he knows what a fish is.

I doubt I will buy anything again from a store that doesn't even have a phone number I can call to ask about the product. A simple question that will take 2 minutes to answer is now a multiple-day process of going back and forth between emails.

This review is for the large pre-filter sponge, and a little on the company.

On my 75 gallon mbuna tank, I have 2 Marineland 350 HOB and a C-360 canister. If you remove the strainers from the HOB filters intake , you can slip this pre -filter right on. In Cory s video he uses a piece of hose to get a more snug suction inducing fitting; but if you have a zip tie, it is just as efficient when place at the top of the sponge. Remember not to place the intake all the way into the sponge because you won t be utilizing all the space the intake tube is occupying. These really keep up he crud out your filters and help with longevity.

This company sells quality products, even though it is sent USPS when I order, I receive my products in 2-3 days depending on the time of day I order. Not to mention, they are located in Washington state and I m on the east coast in Maryland. Great quality products from a great company. I have bought several pre-filter sponges, coarse sponge filter which has many uses, a few plants and fertilizer; all great stuff!

was having issues with my water , the water would come out of the tap at a neutral or slightly above neutral ph. Within days the ph would drop to the high fives which was deadly to my guppies! I remembered cory had talked about the buffering capacity of crushed coral in his aquariums to sustain livebearers, so I decided to give it a try. In all fairness initially I used Seachems Equalibrium to stabalize the ph but was never comfortable using it. Now all my box filters in my guppy aquariums contain crushed coral and gradually I am using less and less of the Equalibrium. My water has stabalized and all is well.

Three of the four of my plants died with in a
Week .of receiving them. But they looked really nice when I received them. But they were frozen and quickly deteriorated after putting the plants in the fish tank. Since I don't have any luck with the internet. I have trouble getting a hold of aquarium co-op.

I Ordered a battery powered marina air pump, i live in maine and we was about to have a bad snow storm so i was worried about power outages so i decided to pick one up to have around just incase such a thing happened and boy am i glad i did it saved my fish's life we had a power outage for over 3 days and it saved my fish great product works great and very pleased i picked it up. shipping time was pretty good seems how we are on different sides of the united states. overall very pleased. Thank you Aquarium Co Op!

My first online purchase from this store was an overwhelming success. Will use them for all my aquarium needs from now on. Even though USPS detoured my package a few times on its trip across the country, everything arrived in pristine condition. Even the plant (a lovely cryptocoryne lucens) arrived alive and well. Everything is extremely well packaged and the free sticker is a nice touch. I bought an usb mini air pump and am super happy with it, had to put my ear on it to make sure it was even on, so quiet! The new air filter with room for an airstone is great too, no modifying anything, just connect the airtube and done. Can't recommend this place enough.

From watching the videos on YouTube learning a lot and continuing to learn from every video I only wished I lived closer I d love to visit the store in person from watching the videos how much effort Corey puts in to teaching and just giving his advice I have placed a few orders and I will continue to keep ordering everything from there customer service is excellent and I have no problem reaching out to you thanks for everything

Great service as well as product. I'm feeding about 75 fish with this as part of their main diet. Mollies, platy's, swordtails, Cory's and several different tetra breeds. They love it and it's lasting far longer than I expected it to. Definitely will reorder when ready.

I recently bought the FLUVAL PLANT 3.0 LIGHT. I love this light. At first I couldn't figure it out -- but then Aquarium Co-Op helped me and wow, what a difference it makes in the tank. It runs best off of an app because then you can design your light flow all day long. My plants are doing so much better with this light -- I was using the light that came with the aquarium -- that now I'm actually seeing GROWTH. Fantastic.

Update: had a chance to visit the store in person and the staff is top notch! Very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. The store was smaller than I expected from you tube (Jimmy does a great job) but every tank had something new and cool to look at. Clean tanks, happy fish, wide selection with some fish I had never seen.

I inquired at Aquarium Coop about which Repashy food would be best for my guppies. I received an e-mail answering my query the same day. AC recommended Repashy Soilent Green and I ordered it from them. I received my order very promptly. My guppies love Soilent Green even better than Repashy Community Plus. My guppy fry are growing quickly and are extremely healthy. Now if Aquarium Coop would sell New Life Spectrum online, I would have the perfect diet for my fish!
