This place makes me happy, not only because of the wonderful tanks and environments that the fish are in, but the business as a whole. It took me two hours to drive to this location, (thank you, traffic,) but I didn't feel as if this was a waste of time. The location is clean (even the bathroom!) the tanks were full of HEALTHY, active fish and the gentleman working the front was informative, friendly and not at all pushy. He was just as interested in the health of my fish as I was and that only left me with good feelings.

So I picked out a betta, a few needed accessories and walked away with more knowledge and generally feeling good about the whole experience. 10/10, I'd recommend this place every time, even with the long drive.

I love this store. I love them because I am new to the hobby and confused, but having done my research online and in my local area I have no doubt what so ever that this is a store that operates with integrity, trust and dignity. When I visit Aquarium Co-Op I know that I am being true and tried, honest information and am purchasing the best products that have been tested over and over again. I am now 6 months in to the hobby and have tanks that I am soooo happy with!

Not only do they have a wonderful selection of freshwater fish, but they quarantine every single one that comes into the store and they medicate them too. That means that it is super unlikely that I will be coming home with sick fish. How awesome is that? Thank you for that Aquarium Co-Op. Oh and the new Betta Barracks are to die for!

They also have a decent selection of aquarium plants that they try to convert to being submerged before you go home with them first. They are labelled with their difficulty level to keep which is super helpful for a n00b like me.

Their selection of foods and products isn't huge, but I KNOW that those are the products that the owners and staff have tried, tested and use themselves. Why carry more product that isn't as good as the ones on the shelf already? All that would do is confuse customers more. It makes my life so much easier. If you have have an issue with anything totally reach out to the store or their customer support. They are awesome and will do anything they can to help you out.

The staff there is really the hook though. They are amazing. They answer any question you have and I can tell that they know what they are talking about, not just from training and personal experience but also from their passion that they have for the hobby.

I want to give a direct shoutout to the gentleman with the curly hair and glasses (he was also wearing a hat when I last visited). He knows his stuff, takes his time with all customers so that he knows that they have everything they need to succeed in the hobby. He was kind, caring, knowledgeable and just all around awesome. I had so many questions and worries when walking into Co-Op and I came out with several bags of fish and accessories and a new sense of confidence and excitement. This guy was the only guy on staff the last two times I came in and he handled several rushes of customers by himself and made sure that every single person was taken care of. He deserves a raise and some tacos.

I have tried many other fertilizers and I swear nothing has worked for me as fast and as easy as easy green co op. But what did it for me was how easy it is to applying i to my tank. I have never been to their store but I ordered from their website and had free shipping which is a plus but also ordered later in the afternoon on a Thursday and arrived on Saturday. I ordered Java Fern on Wood, a pot of Micro Sword, and some Nano Dragonstone pieces. They arrived within 4 days despite the holidays and I couldn't be happier with what I got.

The Java Fern on Wood was much bigger and very full of Java Fern. We are talking dozens of tall leaves on a 6-inch piece of driftwood. It looks great and doesn't even seem to be melting back even the slightest since I put it into my tank.

The pot of Micro Sword came in very healthy looking although not as full as I might have liked. However, within days of planting, I already see some new growth emerging among the expected melt of the older leaves. I suspect that they will look great un a couple of months.

The Nano Dragonstone Pieces were also great in my tank. They look great and there were plenty of small pieces... but no tiny ones that I was afraid I might get. Very happy with how they look in my tank.

Shipping was quick, everything I ordered looks incredible, so I am a thrilled Aquarium Co-op customer. I hope to make a 3rd order sometime soon.

My plants came in excellent condition! Healthy, colorful, and I had no melting of my plants when I put them in my aquarium! I love the small mesh bags, fits perfectly in my nano tank. Great customer service! 11/10, would recommend and will be ordering from Aquarium Co-op again!

Hands down one of the best online shops out there. I bought a regulator that through no fault of their own, failed after a week. I personally heard from Cory and coordinated to swiftly get me a replacement to my home 1500 miles away. These people stand by the products that they sell and are always my first choice going forward for aquarium supplies.

The service was great and selection of fish was terrific. All the plants, fish and 'other critters' were so healthy, and happy, I could have stayed and watched for hours! Love the puffer fish!

Seachem Purigen
I put some driftwood in my aquarium. I used the purigen to help remove the tannins. After 24 hours it made a remarkable improvement in my water clarity. I would recommend it to help clear water and remove impurities. Aquarium co-op has this and many other great products. Check their online store for all your needs.

Where to begin. If you're looking for a big store that sells low quality fish, and treats you like you're just a consumer, you're in the wrong place. Cory and Justin did an outstanding job answering any questions we had and gave any advice they thought would be helpful. I went in there just to buy driftwood and ended up spending over an hour looking at all the displays and checking out all the stuff they had. The prices are great as well. Don't even bother looking online because you wont find it cheaper.

Cory is honest and will point you elsewhere if he can t provide what you are looking for. Same for his employees. I ve heard him give advice on how to DIY vs. buying the product he sells. I ve listened long enough to believe that he believes what he says. Given his experience and knowledge, I take what he says and advises to heart and will purchase from him whenever I can to keep his YouTube episodes going. I appreciate every one.

Really disappointing. I went into the store and stood and waited to be helped for 20 minutes before giving up and leaving. Never been to the store but there online couldn't be better and there customer service is amazing there plants arrived all the way to NYC safe and lush green so did everything arrive well packed this was my 3rd order with them and for sure not the last keep it up guys the best of the best

After watching some educational videos I was sold on the intake sponge. Absolutely love it. Helps keep sand out of my filter as well as keeping debris at bay. I also was really satisfied with shipping times.

This fish store is about an hour and a half away from my home and it's ALWAYS worth the trip to stop by when i'm in the seattle area. The workers are so knowledgeable and kind. Honestly the best fish store around.

I recently got back in to the fish keeping hobby and Cory's videos have been extremely fun and helpful. I ordered one of the T-shirts and a bottle of Easy Green. Have been using the ferts for a few weeks now and my plants are loving it! Wasn't using any previously since setting up the tank a few months back and it was starting to show. They are now growing much quicker and the new growth is much healthier. It was in the mail and to my door 3 days after ordering, on a weekend, very impressive.

So many positive experiences! The videos which are so helpful and educational started my relationship with Aquarium Co-Op. I have since ordered several products which are great quality and price with a personal touch. It feels good to support their organization and they feel like fish family. I hope to one day visit their store and see Murphy in person!

Not just another fish store. I just stumbled upon the Aquarium Co-Op in the last month when a more well know Fish Store did not have any stock of three types of fish that I was looking for for my newly setup micro aquarium. The Aquarium Co-Op did have all three. The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable and will help guide you to make good decisions in your hobby if that is your true desire. They are obviously a business but do not appear to be profit driven. For example the free videos that they provide on their website are incredible and often include tips on DIY projects and ways to save money in this hobby. They buy locally whenever possible and this will most certainly provide you with a more healthy fish, plant, etc..

Got the special when I ordered Easy Green! It was so busy I got knocked out of their site but immediately tried again and the way it went! Got a free puffer T and food for my plants! Can t beat that... only at Aquarium Co op!!! The best You Tube fish channel your going to find! You can find others but non as informative and caring as the crew at Aquarium Co op. Great fish and aquarium store. The front of house is small, but I really appreciate this because it means all the fish available in the front for display and sale are in excellent shape to be purchased. The people here are friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything you might need to start a fish tank for yourself, but this is NOT petco/petsmart and you shouldn't expect those kinds of prices at all - the items and fish they sell are much better quality and will likely give you a boost to being a first time keeper (if that is what you are looking for) - having kept fish in the past I will only buy from my local store here because I've had so much success with the stock. Also, Murphy is fun to stop in and say Hi to :)

Aquarium Co-op is one of the best companies there is, they strive for the best products, give the best information they can, and help hobbyist as well as beginner fish keepers. They not only have a online store but also a couple channels on YouTube where they give out valuable information about fish, products, plants, and many other things. I would happily suggest Aquarium Co-op to any person who keeps an aquarium.

Xtreme Sinking Food - I m just amazed at how fast my plecos go after this sinking food. I ve bought different wafers from other companies before and yes they eventually ate them, but now I can actually see excitement as they munch away. Since the fish also like them, I ve been using a thin pvc pipe to drop the wafers in an area away from the fish. This way my plecos get it and the fish don t smell it as it s sinking. Thanks Cory for that great idea!

Staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. They also are very helpful with recommendations for plants and aquatic related questions.

Nick helped me with getting another Guppy. He addressed any concerns he had with my water quality and then proceeded to let me know how to improve it. He even gave me, free of charge, a bag of carbonate buffer to increase the hardness of my tank. An excellent employee who was able to demonstrate his knowledge on caring for guppies and my aquascape while throwing in some humor to keep the conversation interesting (not that aquascape related topics are uninteresting). Would come back again.

Haven't had the pleasure of visiting the store but the website is great! Awesome prices on stuff that I can't find on amazon or ebay. The owner has a youtube channel that I have been binging for about a month now, an in that month I have learned more about aquariums, fish, shrimp, filtration and substrates than I had learned in the 30 years that I've had fish. The aquarium co-op is doing such an amazing service to the hobby, couldn't be more thankful!

I ll just say we have never been treated better at a pet store. I gentleman we worked with was beyond helpful. Help helped test our water and troubleshoot what was going on with our tank. We got both a betta and tetras. So far they are happy and living happily together.
