Great service. Ordered on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at 2:15 pm and expected it to ship on Monday, but it was shipped that day and was delivered on Monday. Can't get any faster than that. Only ordered hard goods this order, but have ordered plants in the past and they all arrived in great condition. Will be ordering more from them in the future. Also, just received a hand written thank you card in the mail. Great touch.

I don't think there is another Aquarium store that can compete with their ability to meet customers needs. Especially in such a quick and effective manner.
While they are a business that needs to make a profit, they don't sacrifice quality to do so. From my experience they won't sell a product because of hype, but because it has been proven effective.

This was my first time ordering plants from them. We had a shipping snafu (which I do not believe was their fault at all), and they graciously sent me out another shipment. It was a good thing too, as the first shipment showed up almost two weeks late and all dead/frozen. American Co-Op is easy to work with and the plants were healthy and beautiful (the unfrozen ones I mean!). Will definitely use them again!
Hands down the best aquarium store I ve ever visited. Came in with my friend who s interested in starting his first tank, and the associate we talked to was a never ending grapevine of fantastic advice and answers. The tanks were all beautifully maintained, healthy fish and plants, and an overall clean store. I envy the local aquatic community for having such a wonderful resource. This store is amazing. Not only do these people care so much about fish and the industry itself but they make the most amazing educational content i can find on YouTube. Shipping from the store to my home was fast and came in great condition. The sponge filter and never clog air stone are just super!

Amazing staff, helpful and very knowledgeable. Would always go to them for your fish needs. They likely have an answer to your questions. Bought brine shrimp eggs, air line tubing, hatchery and more from them and have had nothing but good quality from their products. In the past i got their quarantine trio for fish meds and it has been a saving grace when bringing home new fish.
These guys ship so fast, it is almost predictive. They make A***on look like slouches. Great selection, fair pricing, and advice when needed.

One of the nicest fish stores I've ever been in, a clean, well-lit building full of nice fixtures and happy, colorful fish. I'd say more about the fish, but all I know is they live in water and some have pretty colors. Some of the fish in this shop were so happy they were having babies. Which I guess means they were happy a while back, but still, that counts for something.

I've never ordered online from the Co-Op, since I live in Vancouver Canada, but I've been to the store many times. They give the best service possible to every customer that walks into the store. All the employees are very knowledgeable too. So far, every single product and fish I've bought from the Co-Op has been excellent. Cory, the owner, is really nice, the employees are also really friendly and make you feel welcome at the store. My favourite products from the Co-Op include Easy Green plant fertilizer, Omnivore Pellet Mix food, and of course, their line of promotional merchandise..... such as the measuring glass and aquarium decorations. One major thing about the fish that they sell, is that they are all quarantined. I really love that and it is one of the reasons I shop down there for a lot of the fish I plan to breed. Overall I am really thankful to have such a great store within a (somewhat) close range to me. Thank you to Cory and all the staff at the coop for everything they do. Best aquarium shop I've ever been to!! Definitely will be getting all of my live fish and fish food here in the future. I came all the way from West Seattle to Edmonds because I thought their fish looked very healthy and well sourced. They only allow a few people in their store at a time, and everyone has to wear masks. Everyone working there is extremely knowledgeable and they can help you pick out the right species of fish that will get along with the fish you already have, or for if you are trying to start a new tank. They have lots of beautiful bettas and a huge selection of tropical fish, inverts, foods, and supplies I haven't seen anywhere else. Also the owner has a beautiful Mbu puffer that you can watch while you look around. I got a school of tetras and some amano shrimp, and they are all very healthy and doing well in my tank.
I am so happy with my purchases. Everything has arrived so quickly- the plants are so beautiful and healthy - the food is fresh and fish love it and absolutely love my snail catcher. I Also love the fact that they don t sell anything they do not use and trust themselves. Corey is amazing and has great videos and info on website and YouTube. I have learned so much. He is so knowledgeable, funny and humble. Is now my go to place for all things aquarium!!
They seem like a great store. Cory even has a very successful youtube channel. However, they take no responsibility for selling incorrectly labeled fish. I purchased $80 of Redhead Tapajos from them, later to find out they are a different geophagus species (without red heads). The guy who runs the store pretty much told me it is what it is. As a beginning aquarium hobbiest I felt I got burned. For me, that was a lot of money to spend on fish, not to be exactly what I wanted. Beware and do your homework. Sorry guys this is a critical review, one star is how I feel.

Wow! where can I start? Just purchested more plants and 1 of them was a dwarf baby tear. Great color and not a dead or wilted leaf on it and best of all, no snails. I first learned about Cory on you tube and really got an education. I now have a 250 tank that is planted like a jungle. I was spending so much on fertilizer from my local store that I decided to try easy green. Saved money and every thing has become larger, greener and has grown beyond expectations. I have 3 lily plants that for many years did ok but had never had a leaf grow to the top, now I trim them down because there are just toooo many. Both my madagscar laces bloomed with in a month. Very happy with co-op. Thank you for being there!
I set up 7 new tanks last month. A 150 gal, two 40s, and four 20s (starting a 210 now). The FX6 I bought from them is doin well in 150. The power heads seem to be a waste of money as staff warned me though, because I also put their sponge filter in every aquarium I have and the aquariums without powerheads are doin even better with just sponge filters that I put premium airstones into. Powerheads were my mainstays I used back in the day when I used to be deep into the hobby, but new ways have been figured out since then. The fluval 3.0 LED plant light is amazing and upgrades my fish room to a techie showroom with all the light settings. In all purchases both online and in person, staff were extremely helpful. No complaints here. They nailed it in every way. In half a dozen problem solving shopping checkouts where I made last minute decisions on large purchases and small, Eric, Jesse, Ally, and Robert all went out of their way to meet my demanding customer needs. Their knowledge of the products they sale (especially plants) is impressive. More importantly, their ability to answer specific questions in a way that educates me on what I dont know about so I can figure out what I want is important to note. They really teach so that I can honestly choose. That quality sets them worlds apart from most other stores that sell fish products, especially big box stores where employees THINK they have knowledge but dont actually know what they are talking about.
I will continue shopping at Aquarium co-op.

I recently made an online purchase. I ordered plants (Val), intake sponges, Vibra bites and snails. All came expertly packaged for safe shipping. The Val looked really good and the portions were generous. The snails all arrived alive and are doing well. Every fish in my fish room loves the Vibra bites! I bought them on a whim after hearing Cory and Master Breeder Dean discussing them on RFT. Glad I did! I will do a lot more of my supply and plant shopping with the Co-op in the future!
Aquarium Coop is the BOMB!!! I love this place. Found out about it through their YouTube Channel. Corey and Irene do a fantastic job on the channels explaining things. As for their store, I have ordered through them three times so far and the experience is excellent. Delivery is fast and products are fantastic. Here are some things I would highly recommend through them.
1. Their sponge filter. I have the nano in my 45 gal as additional filtration and providing extra water agitation. It's awesome.
2. The nano pump. This thing is SO quiet and runs by USB so mobile.
3. Easy Green is a great fertilizer, and like the name says EASY.
4. Fluval 3.0 Plant light. This is the greatest light. Makes my aquarium pop. Just received yesterday and cannot wait to see what it does to my plant growth.
5. Any Live Plants. The quality is excellent!

Aquarium Co-op is very informative even with the purchases you make. I recently ordered some live plants. While looking through my options they also give you info on how easy it is to take care of and what they require. In addition to the store , their youtube videos are very helpful on getting a tank started and maintained.

The light really makes the colors on my fish and plants pop. Light is still going. No issues.
I was getting pin holes on my Anubias leaves. I added 2 squirts of Easy Green once a week and the issue went away on new leaves. Slow growing plants are now producing new leaves almost weekly.
Excellent Light, Bad Customer Service
I bought a Finnex 12" Stingray 4 watt light which makes the fish and plants pop in my 15 gallon column tank. Better looking than my original 8 watt T5 bulb. I had emailed customer service and asked the TOTAL length of the light, with switch included, before purchasing. They said 12" but it is actually 12.5" long. I had 12.25" to work with inside my lid. Because the light was night and day compared to the original T5 bulb, I dremeled my lid(which is what I didn't want to do) to make it fit. Customer Service just read the box that said 12". Don't reply as verification if your not going to do the work.

The best fish store in Snohomish county, certainly, and possibly the best in the state. Small and compact but has virtually everything you need with a ton of livestock, plants, food, and in-house tools and accessories such as air pumps, sponge filters, and an all-in-one fertilizer that every fishkeeper I know swears by.
I love the sponge filters, I have 2 and talk about easy maintenance no moving parts all of 5 minutes to deal with ,GO CORY..
I will never get fish anywhere else after my fabulous experience here. I stopped by after finding some useful information on the store's blog just to window shop. I was immediately greeted by very busy, but friendly staff. I let him know I was window shopping and he kindly excused himself, informing me of where to find him if I had questions. A week later I returned to buy some fish, the store was packed but I was acknowledged upon entering and helped when it was my turn. The gentleman who helped me pick out fish and a plant was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. The fish all looked incredibly healthy and the selection is so much better than box stores. I really love this store, have since then started following them on YouTube as well. I feel really confident in their advice and their products. If nothing else you should visit it to meet their puffer!

I wish this store was closer to me! My husband and I drove four hours to check this out and walked out two very happy shoppers. Their selection of large wood pieces far exceeds the quality that we've found anywhere else. Prices for everything from decor to food to rare plecos are exceptional. And if you have a planted tank, you HAVE to try their fertilizer! A few pumps into my nano tank and I cannot believe how much my plants have grown!
