Such a beautiful hotel with the most marvelous interior. After our last experience we were invited back and we had the pleasure of having a fantastic 3 course meal at the Brasserie.
The service was impeccable and every course was unique and exquisite. I can honestly say that this restaurant is worth the visit! We will be back again soon!

Really an experience. And that is thanks to the combination of very attentive, hospitable and friendly staff and a super nice building with top facilities. Lots to do (fitness, yoga, sauna etc) good food and a fantastic location in Amsterdam. Delicious enjoyed from arrival to departure. The service is really surprising and class. Really recommended.

Amazing hotel

Amazing hotel
Super service at the level of the hotel standing.
Breakfast is awesome with a lot of diversity. Eggs fans, be prepared, the choice is huge!
Everything is delicious.
For the restaurant, we went to Taiko. Faboulous! Every piece is a symphony in mouth and a delight for your eyes.
We found no mistake during our stay...everything was perfect.
I ll come back for sure!

Five stars. The renovation of the old bank building, the front hall is amazing, the old building is very interesting. The breakfast was good quality - for a Dutch hotel. Egg benedict did a great job. Then, the conditions of the ordinary standard room are generally the same. But it is absolutely clean. The location is very good, just in the museum area, to Van Gogh, the national is 1-5 minutes walking distance. There is a supermarket within 5 minutes, which is super convenient. Parking is available for EUR 65 per night.

Is a very arrogant unfriendly gentleman as a doorman at the entrance on the side of the shops. Went in and passed a store. Then I went to the bathroom of the hotel, it did not say that it was not allowed. When I got back the man was very upset with me. Was aware of no harm. He won't let me in next time. I will never ever come back here and will certainly pass it on to my business relations.

Disappointed, the food was ok, nothing amazing... I was expecting much more from the dishe's presentation: Potatoes were overcooked, the risotto seamed throwed into the plate. The service was excellent.

As one of the Leading Hotels of the World (LWH), it was more sparse than plush. The deluxe king room paralleled a small high tech dormitory. If, I had never stayed at a LHW or travelled internationally then perhaps my expectations would not have been set so high. There were other suites that they could have upgraded me to since I was a leading member of the LHW group, but they insisted that they were experiencing high occupancy and there was absolutely no availability? In my room, the headboard was by a noisy rain drain pipe. It rained both nights of my stay. Additionally, the air vents and ringing of the announcing trolley bell followed by the sound of the passing trolley trains that sounded like thunder added to the disdainment of my restless nights. Peaceful and restful nights ... there were none! Although the food was great and the shops were bespoke, I'm not sure how they received such a prestigious ranking or status of a LWH. The choice is always yours. However, this is not an opinion, but my two night experience.

Magically extraordinary place. It is magnificent on all sides. The oversized lobby remains quite noisy if a lot of people are around. The duplex rooms are very well designed and the double bathroom is appreciable.
Restaurant closed when we came. Too bad the brewery is not up to the location or its prohibitive prices.

Room was very nice...luxurious and modern. Breakfast was great and included the usual and some local specialities. Pool is good for relaxing or laps and the gym is one of the best I've seen in a hotel. Location is great if you are in Amsterdam for the museums. Staff is very nice and accommodating.

I really love the rooms in this hotel. The breakfast buffet and menu is amazing. But there are really strange sounds at night that I really can t explain. It s like a constant buzzing every 40 seconds. Sometimes we hear a sound as if something fell down hard. Like a thump. Kind of like a coffee machine. And if ur a light sleeper forget it because you can hear the sound of the tram every time it passes. The staff is amazing and really try their best to make you happy and comfortable.

My wife and I have had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and the Middle East and we try to stay in the best hotels we can afford. Our experience in the Conservatorium was unparalleled. The courteous attentiveness of the staff, the grandeur of the surroundings, the centrality of the location, the wonderful in house shopping, and the classic beauty of the physical plant, combined to offer an outstanding experience in a world class city. Our dietary restrictions made our needs more challenging, but they were no trouble at all for the skilled staff. There were so many individuals who were so helpful, and at the risk of omitting some, I would mention Ms. Isabelle Post, our Host Manager, and Eitan, our concierge. I recommend this hotel without reservation as one of the finest accommodations we have ever experienced.

Beautiful building, large interior space where you (both inside and outside) can enjoy a coffee / drink in peace and quiet.
We only did this, so in terms of hotel concept and the rest I have no opinion.
We do want to sit outside upon receipt, there is only space on the benches that are there. But, ... they are still wet from yesterday's rain !!
Do you not have a rain radar? Half of the terrace cannot be used because people apparently did not see the shower coming. We can choose from a large high table (where other guests are also seated) or metal (rock-hard) orange chairs without a cushion (sponsored by the Champagne brand VC).
Then go inside.
Overall a mediocre experience (this could have been much better with ease.
Tip: take a look at the white floor lamps, they look really "dingy".

What a wonderful welcoming experience! Everything, and then everything, is dedicated to the guest. Special experience. Beautiful rooms. Everything is right. Thanks also to the personal, hospitable contribution of asst.manager Etan Sela. Looking forward to next time!

We visited its restaurant Le Brasserie!

It was a great evening. We were received with great attitude, smile and politeness of a professional level.
The whole place is beautifully designed so it leaves you a relaxed feeling without any heavy pompous luxury atmosphere. Although the service and quality of food was of luxury levels. My wife and me stayed almost 3 hours enjoying 2 bottles of champagne combined with many rounds of amazing oysters and great lamp for main.
A great selection of cheeses at the end was a great alternative to the usual sweet desert. A mostly recommended restaurant which we will surely visit soon again.

We had the honour to have a tour through this amazing hotel to get to know the history, the different room types and the view of the hotel on all of this. I can truly say that I could not have spent my Saturday afternoon better then this. Isabelle from the guest relations team showed us around and she knows her game! Told us everything and could answer all questions. The hotel has real trees growing inside the lobby with special lamps, has an amazing roof in the lobby made out of glass so when you look up you see the sun, the rain, the moon or the stars, the most amazing view of the city and the most beautiful rooms.

Restaurant and bar looks as the hotel itself stunning, a bit dark, but very good looking and amazing menu!

And this all started because we asked of a little more ginger in our tea. So open and friendly that from a bit more ginger, a good talk let into an amazing tour.

I can highly recommend to stay here if you need a place to stay in Amsterdam, next to the museum square and the Van Gogh and Rijks Museum.

Isabelle thank you for this experience!

Outstanding place with highest level of service right in the heart of Amsterdam- gives the feeling of coziness in a big, never sleeping city of Art, Entertainment and History. Museum quarter, P. C. Hooftsraat, Canal tours, Anne Frank museum and many ither fantastic places in neighbourhood. Place full of charm combined with contemporary design, wonderful Restaurant and the best hotel Spa in Holland.

Great location and excellent service. This is one of the go-to luxury hotels in Amsterdam, certainly for sigar lovers as La Casa del Habano has a perfect lounge at the hotel. The staff really goes out off their way to offer help and they are very prepared for different situations. They were for example able to make an appointment at Amstel Dental which turned out to be a optimal experience

Cool reception. Table service is friendly. Order Caesar salad lunch with water. Again nice service but the bacon were half black. Completely burned. Toilets are dirty. This is really not possible for such a hotel. You pay 35, - for this salad with water.

Beautiful hotel and 5* staff.

Beautiful hotel and 5* staff.
We were caught out and needed to breast fed our newborn. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful by finding us a comfortable corner away from the hustle. We had coffee and cake there which was lovely.
Restaurants, bars and shops all looked top class although we didn t sample them.
Thanks Conservatorium!

Had drinks at the bar with family. They took a while to arrive and there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the bill. The courtyard is a wonderful place to sit though, quiet and away from the bustle of the street.
