stunning place! history is great. love the rooms and service. shame they always put down the resturant
Amazing cocktail, very professional service and friendly at the same time, is the top
I suggest you go there for the afternoon tea is amazing teas and sandwiches
One of the world's finest hotels. Based in the heart of Mayfair the Connaught has been offering a unique level of hospitality for over 100 years. With a convenient drop off point leading to the magnificent reception area, first impressions are excellent. The restaurants and bars offer an excellent food and beverage service. A great experience for Londoners and visitors alike.
Best Hotel in London bar none. Service ,luxury ,food and drink offering. Plus unlike almost every other hotel I have stayed in through the last month, no removal of everything in room due to Covid. Guests need these things , plus we need a food offering which in this Hotel is impeccable.
Good staff. Style is nothing superfluous, the service is excellent.
From the warm welcome no matter what hour, from the porters at the door, to the five star service and attention to detail, the Connaught deserves its ranking as a five star hotel.
One of the most beautiful bars in London. It s actually an experience.
Hotel bar to recommend with impeccable design and service level. One of the best wine list I have seen.
Always impressive service. Really great choice of cocktails and wine.
Let me just say we were looked after like their own. It took a while before they started playing music, but once it started it was lovely, cool jazz, my favourite.
Service was excellent, staff were courteous and helpful. Food was great as well. Can't complain because I stuffed myself. It's a place to have quality time with friends without being disturbed.
Just dropped something off for my work, amazing hotel.
Came here for drinks and all the cocktails were on point... Defo worth checking out of you get a chance
Again excellent food, fantastic service and divine experience.
If you want to go here to eat for the sake of eating because you are hungry then there are better choices but if you go here to enjoy the the flavours the you should definitely come!
I went there for an aperitif. Nothing to say, packed of nice people, excellent Cocktails. I did not booked in advance but the concierge found us a space at the bench the gave us a table as soon it became available
I'd really struggle call this 5 star. The spa doesn't have a hot tub and the pool is tiny. The rooms don't have coffee or tea making facilities. The bar and restaurants are closed on certain days and don't open until 2pm (if they are open at all). The TV has limited channels and no internet connection. I'd actually not recommend for the price. I would not stay here again.
Best cocktails in London. The martini experience is fascinating
The very best hotel in Mayfair, super service and nice rooms.
Loved the food, staff, decor and location. Can't be faulted - excellent in every detail.
One of the best "traditional English feel" hotels in London.
The service and drinks were very good, if expensive.
It is expensive but you will feel the best service and interior. On the first floor, the Jean George restaurant is also recommended.
Fancy champagne cocktail bar for late night drinks.
Fantastic venue for events in the prestigious Mayfair locale
Great Hotel!
Great service!
Welcoming staff!
Just came back from a spectacular stay. Visited Paris, London, and back to Paris last week and our stay at the Connaught was the highlight. The room was stunning, Attention to detail fantastic. The responses to every request were immediate. Everyone was warm and friendly. Truly one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. We previously stayed at the four seasons Hyde Park and there is just no comparison. This is definitely our new home went in London.
This has to be the best Martini bar in London, after all the places in all the world, these guys just simply rock the Martini like no other. Choose from an array of gin, the perfect choice of bitters for the mood, and stirred to perfection. The other drinks are nice too, girlfriend likes the bloody Mary here.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable room, in particular the bed. Not very spacious, but clean. And the staff is good
Just went in for cocktails. They're a little on the experimental side when it comes to flavours. You'll get the recipes of your cocktails on a card with the bill. The bar is a little dark and lacking of atmosphere for a hotel bar. Staff are attentive and attractive.
...the bar here is something else, the location and people watching is like a movie before your very eyes, serious selection of drinks to suit every taste and an amazing team on duty at all times... enjoy!...
Must try the Martini bar. Service is superb. Drinks are even better. After the Martini try something special off their drink menu.
Amazing hotel and great cocktail bars ! Simply magical
Where should I start? This is my first comment here. Since I have been looking forward to treat myself an afternoon tea in London, after lots of homework I finally decided to come to Connaught, made a last minute reservation and received a table after a bit of waiting, so far so fine. Didn't seem to have much dress code since there're quite a few guests in jeans and trainers. Food and tea is delicious, personnel generally nice and welcoming despite some chaos at first (did notice this waiter had been sort of losing balance for some time, perhaps tired, but didn't expect him to bump into a colleague, break a glass and look shocked, or when I overheard staff being sort of mad at each other despite silently but this is their office so still quite comprehensible) But what I am very upset about is a curly hair in my sandwich, not hair from your head so I've no idea where it comes from. Now I have been to lots of cheap cafes and pubs, however this is seriously the first time in my life to have a hair in my food, and in a 5 star hotel! How would you expect that in this price range? I had to praise myself for not throwing up. They immediately changed the sandwich for me, offered me free champagnes, assured me that they are going to investigate, I had two refills of tea, and later I learnt that I didn't need to pay the bill. Obviously their reputation is more important than my bill, so I thought that I would give them a 3-star for their effort despite the hair which literally destroyed appetite, since I don't want to be too mean just because of an accident. Finally I wasn't able to finish the sweets, so had it packed and took it home. Due to lots of walking after a day the sweets are not in the best shape, bumping against each other, but alas! Another hair sticking out from the sweets! This time is a hair from the head (thanks God, it is less disturbing than the first one), obviously not mine, but due to the condition of the sweets it is difficult to judge whether it was already there at first, or until when the staff packed it up for me. Now I doubt that I am the only guest who have this hair problem. Perhaps this is my lucky day and I should buy the lottery. Very sorry to say this, but look carefully before you eat at Connaught. It is a pity since I really love the surroundings and the interior which I find much nicer than other hotels, but definitely not visiting again. And Connaught please do your management and quality control if you don't want to lose more customers, this is not acceptable.
What a magnificent place.
There's not much to write about The Connaught on a google review. To do this place any justice you should go there yourself to experience an outstanding service of pure excellence. The absolute perfection in execution of every drink and meal is unparalleled.
The bar is probably one of the best bars in London. The barkeepers know what they're doing, making solid drinks. You're getting served by the most beautiful Sardinian chicks you've ever seen. Definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful old hotel in Mayfair. Staff are friendly and attentive. Went there for a business meeting. Breakfast (pastries + fruit) was a bit basic but that was probably the company's choice of what to serve everyone.
My afternoon tea was very bad the guy their was not friendly at all for clarifying for me the menu such a hotel should assign professional people know how to treat their customers in a classy way I had many afternoon teas in many places I have never experienced such a behavior!!!! I really not recommended it and never come back again
Went to see facilities. Staff was extremely accomodating and informative.
Went here for cocktails and was not disappointed. The bar staff were unshakable: the Negroni (my benchmark cocktail) was solid - they mix their own vermouth for it. Perhaps most impressive was when I asked the bartender if they had Creme de Violette: she said "of course" - so many bars I've been to in London haven't had this essential ingredient for an Aviation. The atmosphere was buzzing and glamorous, the staff had a good vibe about them. They're serious about their cocktails here and I'd definitely go back.
This hotel has two distinct residence experiences: classic and modern. We stayed in the modern section and the rooms, facilities and services met up to the international luxury standards everyone would expect.
It is worth mentioning that you must try the fish and chips here --- my wife and I tasted a lot of fish and chips during our trip and we both agreed that this place served the best overall. A totally unexpected bonus to our stay here!
I have beed work there. Very good peopel. Honest and trusfull.
Very high standard wich makes me to do things 100% . I have good memories from this Hotel. Serciurity is also very honest and trusfull.
Wonderful hotel. The room was very tidy and clean and the staff very professional and friendly
Great hotel, staff were fantastic. I Couldn t get a table in the main restaurant, but otherwise I would recommend.
Perfect afternoon tea with lovely french pastries and scones. Great service!!!
Dropped in for spontaneous lunch. Kitchen were able to cater to my vegan diet with no problems at all. Delicious good and lovely ambience.
The spa is nice too.
For the Patisserie: Flat White was honestly not a flat white and was terribly made. Even the presentation was poor. Croissant was hard and made me question how fresh it was.
Such a beautiful hotel and a stunning spa experience that makes you feel very special.
My best truffles pizza ever. Expensive place but definitely worth it!
The Connaught offers an extravagant and decadent cocktail bar experience that definitely appeals if you're willing to pay for it! Short waiting times for tables, continuous replenishment of olives and crackers and a range of drinks that seemed to cater for any mood make this a very pleasant trip. If money is a concern, with Artesian offering nicer, more spectacular drinks in less regal surroundings for lower costs I'd suggest you walk there for your boozy fix. If you fancy a treat no matter the cost, talk to the staff, whack out the plastic and prepare for an amazing night
Helene Darroze s cooking is amazing! worth every single penny
My favorite bar to enjoy the best martinis in the world! No wonder why this venue always hit the top ranking of the world's 50 best bars. Prices are on the high side but the experience, the quality of the drink and the execution make it worth it. Staff is also super friendly!
Went to a silver service wedding reception here, very nice and quite upmarket.
Cause we provide flawless guest services and personalized services to our valued guest which includes exquisite dining options also we treat our guest according to there own needs and request as demand with no details overlooked also the hotel provides high end luxury towels you name it just to make and let them feel at home all people work in the hotel are all professionally trained to serve and look after our guest
old school charm ... classic bar ... order the Connaught Martini
Luxury hotel located in the heart of the Mayfair neighborhood, close to a number of upscale restaurants and cafes, and its guests are mostly elites
Been here several times. When you walk in there's a bar to your right. Very nice and buzzy. I always carry on to the champagne bar further in. You might have to wait for a seat. Excellent champagne and very attentive staff. If you order certain drinks they bring a trolley to the table and make them up in front of you. Very entertaining.
