Really lovely staff who were very helpful when I had to change an appointment 3 times!

The Birth Company is fantastic. There are many factors that set them apart from others. Firstly the ability to schedule an appointment online, right on their website. It s a really handy system where you can view the available time slots in the morning/afternoon/evening and book the most convenient one. Also, they offer the WIDEST range of scanning appointments and they re open on weekends too. It was incredible to even be able to get an appointment on Christmas Eve! They almost always run to schedule and you may even be seen early. Their prices are competitive and very reasonable. They ve clearly put effort into building a reliable system; they use high-quality scanning equipment that offers very good resolution and their sonographers are experienced and thorough. Have been seen by Kate, Helen, Kirsty, Karin and they ve all been great: very friendly and reassuring. Ultrasound scan results and images are sent instantly and contain more information and better quality images than many other places, some of whom charge more for less detail. In fact, we ve gone to see them on several occasions after being disappointed with the lack of detail from scans done elsewhere. Their services include gynaecology/fertility scans (e.g. follicle tracking) for those trying to conceive, a range of prenatal/pregnancy scans, NIPT, and even blood tests. They are also very useful for those having treatment abroad and who need monitoring scans in London; in fact they come recommended by many overseas clinics. Very pleased with their services; they're definitely our go-to provider and we would highly recommend them to everyone.

Caring, professional experience. Got a great talk through during the scan, saw so much more than on the NHS scan simply because she took me through it in detail. Received the test results in 8 days for Panorama. Will be recommending to friends.

This was my second time now at the Birth Company and I opted for the Panorama NIPT, I originally went into for the Harmony but after a discussion the Panorama seemed the best choice and I was told what was the difference between them all. I had Kate and she was super helpful and took some beautiful pictures and videos of our baby. I got sent the full report and everything straight away. The actual results for the Panorama come quicker then I expected and it was super easily laid out for you to see all the results etc.

I would 100% recommend this company. Appointment was exactly on time, no waiting around, Kate was amazing and the receptionists were also super helpful.

Lovely staff, great service. Had an appointment with the senior doctor - he is lovely and very knowledgeable, and also very professional. Seemed to be doing his job as a passion, not in it for the money like you d get in other places. Pleasantly impressed, will go back for a next scan for sure.

Premium service and very friendly and professional staff! We visited them to have a Panorama NIPT test, and were extremely happy with the received service. First, we had an ultrasound scan where we had the chance to see every bit of our baby, check that everything was fine and enjoy the baby viewing with no rush. You even get digital copies of all the photos/videos collected during the session and the scan report. Then, the blood sample was collected and we received the Panorama test results in a week. Highly recommended!!

I've visited the Clinic on 4 or 5 occasions for various scans and each time, have had a great experience. The team are really professional and friendly, helping to put you at ease and so I cant recommend them enough to anyone that needs to use their services. Results are sent through within about an hour or so, Bloods take a little longer but I still received same day.
Precautions for COVID feel really safe and (in my experience), my appointments have been spaced sufficiently so that there is hardly any waiting time and I have been the only patient (Pre Covid too!).
The equipment is more advanced and the Clinic itself is better than some of the other's I have visited around the same London location.

Great experience. My husband and I were welcomed by a lovely team at the desk and the sonographer was such a nice lady. she explained everything in detail and even sent us photos and a short video of our little one via email.

Very positive experience - I was able to book an appointment very quickly and the service was really professional. I found my sonographer really lovely -she was very reassuring and sympathetic. The Harmony test results came back within 7 days.

I went for a wellbeing scan and had a great experience. Dr. Gibb was quite through during the scan and when the initial measurements of the baby's head were on the higher end of the scale, he took the time to consult the previous scan history and performed the measurements again which were in line with expectations. An email with link to a few pictures and videos from the scan were sent immediately as well. The appointment booking process online was straightforward and the staff were professional and courteous.

As a patient coordinator at FIVMarbella we receive many patients from the UK and highly recommend The Birth Company to all those that can get to one of their clinics for the lining scan. They are Fantastic!!! There scans are wonderful and their reports are the best we receive; thorough, clear and very helpful!!!

The Birth Company should be one of the best in london. Very fast appointment. The utral sound lady Kirsty was so nice, calm and gentle. She also is very faimiliar in the utral sound operation. Also the SAFE test is also very quick.

I had a problem with Intra Uterine Contraception remove . After a couple of unsuccessful NHS appointments, I was lucky to find this clinic and have all my queries looked at on time. I highly recommend the work The Birth Company clinic does and they will look after you on time, in professional manner and you will not have to worry on waiting months (or even more in my case )for the closest appointment through NHS. Specially I would like to recommend Dr Donald Gibb he is very informative, professional and took his time to explain to me my issues and consult me. I was lucky to be seen early by him and I came out with a successful result. Thank you.

We went for the Bronze Package that includes 3 scans . I must say we were very happy with the first 2 ladies that did our scans . They were super nice and caring , they would ask us if we wanted more photos or videos of the baby and they would make an effort to get a photo where you could see as much as possible. However , the last scan we had was nowhere near as good experience as the previous two. The lady didn t care at all about taking some descent photos of the baby , she got confused and said the baby is Bleeding very well instead of saying Breathing !!! She said I look I sick and asked me if I m okay , I said I m tired I m not sick and I had the mask on so not sure how she could see if I was sick or not ?! If we had one of the ladies before I would have given this place a 5 star rating .

I cannot recommend highly enough. We had the Panorama test and a scan with Kate. Everyone was so friendly and warm and Kate was so helpful and really dedicated time and compassion to my unique situation. I left feeling like I d been treated really well and received a really thorough and professional consultation.

We went to the birth company for our 2nd child, and from our first appointment we were treated so professionally and with so much care, I actually just googled private clinics and they were the first and in my opinion I m so glad I clicked on their website and rang them, initially it was just to make sure the baby was doing well, at early stages, but after feeling so comfortable we went for the harmony test, which actually was so helpful, also found out that our new born was a boy. I honestly would say to anyone wanting to check privately, don t be scared to call, these guys are so good and make you feel so welcome, not pushy at all, and are actually doing a fantastic service. Very happy with our experience at this clinic. We wanted some reassurance so had the Harmony test at 10+6weeks. The sonographer was very nice and professional. Afterwards they sent us some photos and videos of the scan by email. One of the videos is the cutest thing ever! We can't stop watching it :) The test was on Monday evening, results came Saturday afternoon, all clear. We are over the moon. Thanks

The Birth Company have been truly incredible during our pregnancy. Anytime we received some concerning news from the hospital, TBC have always been available to see us the same day (with my partner allowed in the room) to help ease our worries. They have an exceptional team, particularly Kate who has been integral to keeping us sane - reassuring us and talking through any questions we had at length. She s such a breath of fresh air, really warm and friendly and so funny!

Really disappointing experience at The Harley street clinic, where I felt totally misled.

Very easy to use online booking service which sets this clinic apart from all others. Not aware of any other clinic who offer such a slick process for people who are limited for time this service makes booking a very quick job and the pre assessment questionnaire is very easy to fill out online, saving time in the reception area when arriving looking for a pen and spending time filling out a paper form.

What a fantastic experience from start to finish. I had reservations about having an IUD fitted, but after an informative phone call from Dr. Gibb, I booked an appointment. I only wanted a coil fitted with the use of Ultrasound, and I knew this was a service that was offered. On the day, I was made to feel very relaxed, reassured, and I knew I was in safe hands. I was very happy with being able to set up a quick appoinment for a reassurance scan (even same day) and was very pleased with the scan and the sonographer. The sonographer who saw me was really friendly, answered many questions i had and spent a lot of time checking all the baby features that she could measure at that stage. Her friendly attitute from the start really made me feel calm and i am very grateful for this. It really made a huge difference to feel somebody cares.
A huge advantage over other places is that they send us all the pictures they took and all the information about measurements. This is really important if you want to keep for your records or even share with your medical doctor/consultant.
I would definitely recommend The Birth Company for pre-natal private scans.

Went in for a coil removal, the process was easy, fast and quick. I had two very helpful scans which were done accurately and professionally, I'm very pleased with the service! The location is also very convenient. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Such lovely ladies at reception greeted us with smiles. I was so nervous but there s a reassuring atmosphere there and they are kind and gentle. Super professional but also personable. Would highly recommend this place and we have been to several other similar clinics and this is definitely the nicest.

I had a miscarriage and needed to find out if further problems. The ultrasound lady was very competent and professional, I felt assured that she examined me properly

We are were not sure which NIPT to go for and a lovely receptionist told us to discuss with the technician. We found the technician to be rude and she also gave us incorrect information. During the scan my husband was taking a video of the screen on the wall (not neither I or the technician could possibly be included in the view) and we were told very rudely that she would rather that we do not record. We have been to other scanning centres and its never been an issue! As said we are just taking a video of the fetus and not anyone else or thr room! Also the same thing could have been conveyed in a polite manner. While explaining the difference between safe, panorama and harmony we were told the panorama results take 7-10 days. I queried this as the website says otherwise. However was told no its 7-10 so we went ahead with Panorama. We wanted the results before the NHS 12 weeks nuchal test and did not receive the results in the 7-10 days and before the NHS test. I would not use this place again. Maybe it was just our luck to get the wrong technician. 2 stars for the easy booking process and the receptionist.

Very detailed consultation by professional staff. We were made to feel at ease and everything was explained, step by step. Our results were delivered within a week and again, in a very professional way.

Amazing!!! We have had two antenatal scans with Kate Richardson. Each visit was incredibly thorough, well explained, and provided ample opportunity to ask any questions without feeling hurried. We are huge advocates of the NHS but the experience we had Kate has been simply superb and left us feeling very excited about the arrival of our little girl. I was at the Birth Centre for an emergency scan late one evening and Dr Donald Gibb came back after seeing another patient to advise me about birth options, gave me names of consultants and spoke to me long after closing (almost an hour ) without charging me a penny. He was incredibly kind and helpful. The staff at the centre have always been professional and have gone out of the way to accommodate and reassure me whenever I needed it (which was quite a few times). Cannot recommend it enough.

i was so lucky to have the 7th week viability scan at the birth company with Shahrzad. Prior to the scan i was really stressed and scared as i had no pregnancy symptoms other than the positive pregnancy home tests and my age (37) does carry a risk of early miscarriage.She made me feel comfortable at 0 time by being very caring,bubbly,understanding and professional to the standards that everyone would feel reassured.She found the baby straight away and even spotted a heartbeat which she played for me to put all my worries at ease.English is not my first language but even if it was ,words could never be enough to describe the level of service the knowledge and most importantly her genuine empathy and support to the way i was feeling.Strongly recommend this lady who i really cant thank enough!

I had a harmony test completed at the birth company. I was able to get a same day appointment at the clean and comfortable Alderley edge clinic. Doctor Gibbs did my scan and took my sample of blood and was professional, Frank and reasurring. I had the results back a week later. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly helpful and polite, especially Ruth who I believe works on reception. Would recommend to family and friends.

I can't recommend this place enough. Besides their expert info and calming nature, they provide both photos and videos - honestly, the video of our little one's heartbeat got me through some severe morning sickness. The quality was simply phenomenal. We also went to the Women's Clinic down the road, and they won't even let you take your own video with your phone and they charge you for the photos to be emailed. Seriously, come to the Birth Company instead.

We recently had our 16-week scan at The Birth Company with Kate Richardson. She, and the rest of the team were fantastic! On this occasion we also found out the baby's gender, which made the experience even more special. Thank you!

Have gone in twice - 10 weeks and 28 weeks. While I was happy with my scan at 10 weeks (one of the few places that will allow your partner to attend), I was elated with Karin s attentiveness and bedside manner (28 week scan). She took as many pictures and videos for us to share with our overseas family and clearly articulated our questions on baby s development metrics. Her enthusiasm was wonderful and worth the visit.

My girlfriend and I had some very worrying results from our 12 week blood test from our local hospital. We needed to have a Harmony test, and the Birth Company managed to fit us in that same day. The lady we saw was absolutely incredible. My girlfriend was incredibly emotional and the lady had such a kind nature and was also extremely thorough on our scan. She explained everything in great detail. We left feeling we were in the right hands. 1 week later we received our results and it was all good news! I had an excellent experience with The Birth Company during both my pregnancies. I feel I received the highest level of care and expertise, which was extremely important to me as I underwent surgery during my first pregnancy and both boys were delivered by caesarean subsequently. Amazing experience! Not only do they provide information about your baby s well being, growth charts, measurements, etc, but they also provide lots of photos and videos. The service is great and they follow all safety procedures during covid.

We have been with the Birth Company team since the early pregnancy scan and were so pleased by their professionalism and friendly demeanor - we decided to continue and follow up with them throughout the whole pregnancy and opted for a package. The staff in general are very professional, from the reception to the very team of sonographers. We had been following up with Shaz - who I would like to mention as being not just an asset to the team at the Birth Company, but also one who is able to make the person feel at ease and well informed. She always takes the time to answer questions in a very clear manner. Shaz always gives a very detailed description of what she is doing through the scan explaining her observations - which makes the scan more comfortable and interactive. We had the best experience with The Birth Company. I booked my NT scan on Saturday and had it done on Sunday, no problems with making my appointment last minute at all. Everyone is super friend and Karin, who done my scan, was wonderful and explained everything in details, answered all our questions and definitely gave us peace of minds. On the scan day we have been informed that the baby is looking strong and healthy and we are a low risk, which had been confirmed the day after with my blood test. We also received loads of printed out pictures as well as digital version of photos and videos. We are definitely booking our next appointment for the 20 weeks scan! Once again, thank you Karin and The Birth Company!

I booked an ultrasound test and rang before the day to ask a few questions. The receptionist immediately asked me why I was coming without being referred by a GP and pressured me to cancel my appointment! Not happy about this as already worried about the scan and then to be spoken to in such a way was shocking appointment cancelled by force and no scan at the end of it

Kate Richardson gave me an ultra sound scan after I received an alarming blood test result from the doctors. I was instantly put at ease and Kate was extremely warm, kind and professional. I'm so glad that I came to the Birth Company to have these tests as I felt very reassured and informed afterwards. Kate even phoned me a few days later after having researched my blood test further. Happy about the service in the Birth Company from the very minute in their office. All staff and Dr. Gibbs are so nice and professional. They are especially helpful when I was waiting for test result and being nervous.

I would like to thank The Birth Company for how professional and kind they have been throughout the whole process. I went there last week for a Harmony Test results, the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Gemma was great throughout the ultrasound, she really took the time to show us everything. explain what she could see, and gave us a lot of information on how the process would go. We left with tons of photos and videos. I received the result via phone a week later. Can't recommend them enough!

After four miscarriages (12 weeks and earlier), we were nervous to get excited about this pregnancy so paid for the Nuchal Translucency Scan to confirm that the baby was indeed healthy. It also meant that my husband could see the scan as Covid prevented him attending the NHS one.

Our sonographer, Shahrzad, had an MSc Advanced Sonography which was brilliant, especially as the BBC had just reported on how many similar companies were scamming people at the time. She spent her time checking that everything was healthy and provided us with a detailed report. Throughout she was so enthusiastic and kind. It wasn't rushed as at all. We received the result four days later.

We later decided to have a reassurance scan done there (19 weeks) as I hadn't felt any movement. Again, we received a brilliant service and felt very safe with the Covid checks taking place.

The Birth Company really do deserve the great reviews that they are receiving.

Dr Gibb and his team are true professionals that make the whole journey through pregnancy to birth a real pleasure. Having had my three children delivered by Dr Gibb, I can think of no better consultant to assist at what can be a testing time for any expectant mother. The consulting rooms at The Birth Company are pleasant, well equipped and you are always made to feel very welcome. Questions and any issues arising are dealt with in a reassuring way, that provides a great confidence boost at what would otherwise be a stressful time. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending Dr Gibb and The Birth Company.

Originally we visited The Birth Company to have a early pregnancy scan as recommended by a friend. Our sonographer was called Shaz and I have to say her bubbling enthusiasm made us feel very comfortable straightaway. She was extremely professional but in a friendly manner and was able to convey all the information we needed during the scan. Since then we have been to see her quite a few times including this week and I have to say every visit has been the same as the first experience.
I very rarely write recommendations but in this case this is one is truly deserved. Thank you Shaz for making our pregnancy journey a little less stressful.

My husband and I went for an early reassurance scan here and it turned out to be nothing but. We found the sonographer to be quite rude, abrupt and her delivery of the results was very confusing. Leaving us worried with no further guidance about our next steps. If you feel at all anxious and would benefit from a kind and caring approach I would NOT recommend this clinic.

Dr. Gibb had to step in, last minute with the delivery of my second baby, despite it being my second was still terrified and wasn't an easy mum to be I'm sure! However he was amazing throughout; kind, patient, forthright & genuinely cared. All the staff at the birth clinic were welcoming and very efficient with everything and very accommodating! Highly recommend.

I went for a private blood test and further scan after receiving a high risk result from some NHS blood test. I booked the appointment online and was able to get an appointment for the very next day, which is really helpful in a stressful situation. I paid online in advance and it was all very easy to do. The website itself is very thorough and answers lots of questions I had in advance. I saw Dr Gibb who was very reassuring and thorough. He carried out a detailed scan and explained to me what he could see / what it meant at each stage. He also noticed other things (not related to the pregnancy) that the NHS scan did not pick up on. He explained what he was doing and what would happen at the next stage / what to expect. I left the appointment feeling much more relaxed and reassured. We were expecting to wait around a week for the results but in fact we received them a couple of days early, which really was an added bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the clinic to other couples looking for further reassurance.

We booked a same day consultant led harmony test after a bad experience at our NHS dating scan and were left with a lot of unanswered questions. Dr Gibb was able to see us and instantly offered b professional reassurance during our scan. Our harmony results were back within 5 days and thankfully were all low risk. All of the staff we encountered were professional and very warm and friendly. The scanning equipment was fantastic and we have some great quality pictures and videos. I can not recommend this company enough.

Dr Gibb is an absolute star! After 2 miscarriages and a crap experiance with the NHS we saw Dr Gibb @ the birth company. After 1 consultation he gave us so many answers and a procedure and 10 months later we have a beautiful girl. Both my Husband and I cannot recommend Dr Gibb and the company more. I actually went to the Alderley Edge clinic rather than Harley Street as I'm based in the North West. Staff and venue were brilliant. It was a very caring experience; great attention to detail and extremely informative. Would recommend!

I have had all three of my babies at The Birth Company under the care of Donald Gibb. They have all been the most amazing experiences, whereby I felt I was given the best care possible. I was scanned at every appointment to check the baby and I had contact and reassurance every time I was worried throughout my pregnancies. I could not have asked for better care and treatment. I am actually quite sad that I will not be having more babies and will not be making regular visits to the lovely Harley Street consulting rooms, to be always warmly greeted at reception and to be given scans and growth information at each visit. Donald Gibb delivered all my babies at The Portland Hospital with the utmost confidence and safety. I cannot thank The Birth Company enough for the fantastic care and service that we received.

I saw Dr Gibbs to have a coil inserted. He talked me through the process to make sure I knew what was going to happen and feel comfortable. Shaz was amazing. She was patient and answered all the questions I had. It was extremely reassuring. The location itself was very easy to find and the clinic was nice and calming. I got my pictures and videos the same day and the blood results soon after. I highly recommend going here!

I came to The Birth Company with my husband after a panic filled trip to A&E and various NHS doctors.. And I just wanted to send our most heartfelt thanks to everyone that we dealt with there.

From the lady who spoke on the phone to my husband and who booked us in, to Kate Richardson who performed our ultrasound and put our minds at rest. What started as a horrible day ended with a great amount of relief and we were so happy to see our baby was alive and well. I simply cannot put into words how wonderful they all were or begin to thank them enough.

We will be using The Birth Company going forward for all scans and are even considering moving all of our care and birth to them given the service we received yesterday.

I recently gave birth under the wonderful care of Dr. Donald Gibb. Dr Gibb is an extremely dedicated and devoted doctor. I felt completely relaxed and at ease under his care. Dr. Gibb is entirely professional and experienced. He was always available whenever any need would arise. The staff as well, at the birth company are truly fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr Gibb to anyone wishing for a wonderful birth experience!

Absolutely fantastic. Helen was an excellent sonographer on the day for s, took time to scan and explain, showed how poor the service was in the local hospital. NPIT blood testing was simple and results swift. Highly recommend.

I managed to book an appointment early morning and have a scan by the afternoon. The outcome was not what we hoped for but all the staff were lovely and comforting. Also a good thing that my partner could be there with me unlike NHS appointments at the moment.
If I'm lucky enough to fall pregnant again I would come back.

I went the Birth Company on Harley Street for the Harmony NIPT and ultrasound performed by Shaz. She was friendly, kind and made me feel comfortable throughout. I was 13 weeks pregnant so I had already had my NHS 12 week scan so could see the contrast- nothing felt rushed and Shaz explained everything so thoroughly. I was given lots of photos and videos (via the online portal) to take home. Results came through today, six days after the appointment, on time, and I was called to relay the news. Very professional service, wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend.

It was an incredible experience. Sonographer was extremely professional, she really took time to show us and explain everything. I would highly recommend it.
