My Company provided on-site interpreting for communicaid and they never paid me. They still owe me $ $1,240.00. The owner Paula agreed to pay me but never has. I have contracts they sent me for all dates of service. I think i will resend my bill again.

Been employed here for over a year as independent contractor. I went in for the first time last week. Iowa's greeting with a friendly smile when people ready to help. I'm proud to be part of this community.

This company has breached their very own Contract to us Contractors' by failing to compensate to a Contractor. It has been 57 days now since I last submitted my invoice to them. Nothing in the contract states that it takes 45-60 days after online invoice submission. It states per I.C.A. that they will compensate within 45 days after receiving the invoice.

I've tried contacting Paula Madden for the 2nd time and yet no response from her. Had I did my research that this is the type of business they operate I wouldn't have taken the assignment. I have tried to contact the VP of Operations through LinkedIn because he needs to be made aware of what kind of operation they're running in the San Jose location. I am waiting for a response from him.

This is not how a business should operate their business and should honor their contract. They should respect the Contractors' time for rendering interpreting services on behalf of this Company. .

Communicaid pays their interpreters very late (2weeks later than in contract so far. They say 45 days but it is now 60 days from date invoiced and still no check) and they do not apologize for it. Out of all the agencies I have worked for this is the only one like it. Do not work for them.

I used Communicaid for dozens of translations in a wide variety of languages, including Latin, for theme park design purposes. They were very responsive, and very fairly priced. My experience with them was nothing but excellent, every time.

I'm still waiting for payment for an assignment on January 5. They told me payment was in process two weeks ago. Now they are not responding to phone calls or emails. Do NOT take assignments from them.

This is an update to my previous post. After threatening them with legal action, I finally got paid. Nevertheless, they are now on the list of agencies from whom I will not accept work. Accept assignments at your own risk.

I am a director here, so of course I will give it 5 stars. But I wanted to respond to some of these negative reviews. We always pay our interpreters. Anyone who has an issue with a payment should contact us directly so we can resolve it immediately. We work very hard to make sure our interpreters are satisfied with any payment issues. Some of these reviews are from names we don't even know, so we would ask that you do not judge working with us by these reviews alone. Most of these were resolved in the past when the vendor called us directly. Call us and we will be happy to discuss with you how you will be paid. We look forward to working with you!
