I used to love the Xfinity theater however one recent bad experience has left me disgusted. I recently went to see Sam Hunt, and after my type 1 diabetic friend went into diabetic shock before the show even started, I was forced to drag her unconscious body out of the venue. Multiple event staff watched and did not offer help. The on-site "medics" didn't even stand up when I struggled with my friend past them. When walking through the exit, the "friendly" ticket scanner reminded me and my corpse of a friend that we would not be allowed to re-enter.... which was the last thing on my mind. Very disappointed. Wish there was an email of someone I could talk to about this.

I enjoyed it overall with a few exceptions. Pros:
*Handicap accessible from parking to seating.
*Fairly large lawn space where lawn chairs are allowed and rented.
*You can bring in your own water and food. Food must be in a gallon ziplock. No coolers
*Projection cameras for the lawn, but with enough of an angle to it to be able to see the stage as well.
*Covered actual seated area for a price.

Cons:
PARKING. If I have a ticket I should be able to park at the venue and not have to walk over a four lane highway to get to the venue. Parking at the venue is available if you arrive about 2-4 hours early. You can also get VIP parking for a huge price. And private parking lots offer for a price as well. Cheapest I saw was $15. This is ridiculous IMHO. Not everyone that is unable to walk far has a handicap plate.
* $$$ I guess that is the biggest part of the music industry in the digital age. suck them dry at the show. Covered seating area tickets are more than double the cost of lawn seats or more. Rent a lawn chair. Buy anything. Park your car AT the actual venue. Sit in a covered area in case of rain..or close... or actually ON the stage for some shows... But it will cost you a bundle. Upgraded area is bountiful and lawn area is not.
*Security is lax on the lawn. Smoking is permitted. So is underage drunkenness apparently. I moved my blanket three times and still ended up having a sleeping drunk teenager who was previously wrestlefighting his friend right next to me AGAIN. CT people use hateful words too, regardless of who might be sitting right there.
*Unless this is a kid specific show, do not bring them. Too many drunk people doing stupid things ruin the fun for others. Kids would just be out of place and possibly hurt.
*Trash everywhere. Fries, beer cans, nachos all over the lawn. Gross people in CT.

Awesome place where you can see lots of different concerts. There is good seating and there s a good view of the stage almost anywhere you are in the theatre. I enjoyed my experience here and would return for another concert. It was a little hard to get in and out but that s expected at a concert since they re usually busy. Luckily there were people guiding cars towards parking spaces and helping everyone get out safely. I recommend this place if it s near you and you d like to go see a concert

One of the few larger venues in CT. Parking is a nightmare and can run you between 20$ for way on the outskirts to 60$ by the actual building. EZ Exit parking is pretty convenient and gets you out fast at the end of the night. There are a lot of regulations (no open water bottles, no camping chairs or folding chairs) that get unreliability enforced. Food and drink on the inside is crazy expensive--20$ cocktails, 15-17$ for beer. 38$ for a bottle of wine. Consider bringing your item. Bathrooms are available as portapotties with a wait.

Would really like to be able to afford more than 1 drink at 16-25 dollars.Ive paid a premium before due to being a venue but 16 Bucks for a twisted tea?Would attend many more shows if I didnt go broke to have a good time.

I have been to many concerts here over the years and usually I love coming to the Hartford arena over the Mansfield Arena. This past Friday my husband and I took our son to FGL. It was horrible!!!! We left hours ahead of time and sat in traffic for 3 hours. The concert started at 8 and we got in around 9. We had lawn seats and couldn t even get through the crowd, there was no where to sit or even stand without people shoving us. A crowd of guys started fighting in front of us so my husband had to protect my son from getting hurt and then people were smoking pot right in front of my son and blowing it in his face. I was so disappointed. They definitely over sold tickets for this concert. I have never seen it like this ever!!! We ended up leaving after 20 minutes and didn t even get to see FGL

Even the cheaper seats were good. I was in the 400 section. The lawn is pretty far so only good if you are ok watching the concert on the screens. Any paid seat inside is worth it. The acoustics all the way to the sides are off (mixed for those directly in front of stage)... So bring some earplugs so you can get rhythm and base no matter where you are seated. Beer was scary expensive. I was expecting $10-12 dollars but upon arrival was shocked at the $15-20 price tag on drinks. We stuck to the water fountain. I hate to be a cheapskate at a concert, but I could attend another concert for the price of two beers. Easy decision for me. Easy in and out... Not too long in traffic after the concert. I parked in lot before the theater thinking it would save time and money, but pretty sure parking at the venue would have been the same. I'll have to try next time and update my review.

The best concert experience I've had. I'm fond of the fact that they are eco friendly and use locally sourced foods. I'm really pleased by the fact that they had quite a few bathrooms and even staff to keep the line moving throughout. The prices were high, but you get what you pay for.

A concert venue outside of Hartford with decent acts. It's like Great Woods awkward little brother, but with better parking. Food trucks provide a variety of alternative meals. The stairs heading up to the lawn area are comically long and would be scary in a buffalo stampede.

It's great if your under the canopy or the weather is good. I personally don't care for the acoustic's here and I think Connecticut should be ashamed of the refreshment prices... Sorry.. my opinion

Drinks are over priced, lawn seats are too far away to get a decent look at anything with your own eyes, one of the jumbo televisions had many broken pixels and off colors. This style of theater has a lot of echo, if that bothers you, don't get lawn seats. Plenty of security and the lines go quickly and efficiently.

Love this Venue! If I only had one major complaint its that marijuana is everywhere. The smell of it is so overwhelming. I have asthma and it is so bad I have a hard time breathing. Been there 4 times now on the lawn, in the preferred lawn area twice and in the seats just as bad no matter where you sit. But I still love the place for a good concert. No smoking would make it a perfect!

Had VIP tickets including parking for Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert. The easy access of VIP parking is awesome! Little Big Town rocked! In the VIP seating there's a call button for a server who will supply you with a menu and bring the items to your seat. Great experience!

Went to Zac Brown yesterday and loved it! The amphitheater is exactly what you would expect. Overpriced food and beer at the entrance and a huge, interesting crowd that is great for people watching. Seats are easy to find which is a plus. Parking and exiting the venue (+surrounding areas) can be a hassle when there is an event but that is to be expected. Definitely recommend carpooling in to take advantage of the HOV lanes and save on parking. Other than that, Xfinity definitely gets the job done. Thankfully, the concert was amazing so my experience was that much more enjoyable.

Spent $560 on pit tickets for Dave Matthew's June 23, 2018...was told by event staff they oversold pit by 500 tickets...line was extremely long to get into pit...and pit was packed like sardines...horrible experience, will never come back...

A lovely and large venue with plenty of seating.

A lovely and large venue with plenty of seating.
Outside the stage area there are multiple food vendors for all your fast food needs (hot dogs, burgers and fries, and the like). Porta-potties exist outside the stadium, but there are real bathrooms inside the building.
They seem to always have a medical team on site as well, regardless of if it's Warped Tour or a big name band on tour.
As a Type 1 diabetic, I've also never had any issue getting my medical supplies through security. Most often they do a quick bag check while I explain what I have, them they wave me through.
There are multiple screens set up so if you're far from the stage (ie on the lawn) you can still see them performing.
As for parking, they have a large lot for free parking, which is great! However there are also always off site (and unassociated) businesses offering paid parking (usually about $20).

All in all, it's a very nice and accommodating venue with a lot of options.

Was there to see Green Day, had lawn seats but that wasn't a bad choice at all despite the light rain that started halfway through, vendors were curtious. The big screens of the stage area were wonderful additions to help all us on the lawn really enjoy it as if we were front row.

It was great, it reminded me of my Xfinity at home, I had to constantly reset my box and I was so far away that everything looked all jumbled up like my hi default channels, also it was real hard to stay hooked up to wifi without getting disconnected all the time.

It is just a place to see concerts I found this place and surrounding areas to be dirty and litter with recyclable and trash items from the parking are to the grass seating grounds .. oh yes it smells bad..
