Paid extra for easy parking. Signs said lot was full as we pulled up which was really confusing. They said they had some room since we paid and had us park in a small side lot. There was a massive speed bump to get in the lot which they did not say a word about which scrapped the bottom of the car heavily. The lot was not much closer than any of the free lots. Once inside got 2 beers for... $35! The computers let you apply a tip to the card purchase now. It gives you no tip, 15%, 18%, and 20% as options. It should say $1, $2, or $3. I hurriedly picked 18% and found afterward that was over $5. We need to stop attending venues that fleece you for every penny to teach them a lesson.
Saw the Lynard skynrd concert. Excellent show. Jamie Johnson was a tear jerkier!! Soooo good.
Place is awesome! Very friendly and professional staff.
The Xfinity theater is really great and the people that work there are great people the food is fantastic the only bad thing is there are too many drunks but you can't control them lol but really great
No matter where u sit u can still see everything.. They also got BIG SCREENS everywhere
It's ok. I wish people would obey the no smoking rules and that it would be enforced. Getting out of parking is a nightmare. It took us 40 minutes to get out because they didn't have anyone coordinating it.
Great show, gave us higher rows front row performance
Smoking allowed, overflowing portapottys, one water fountain, sound hardly reaches the lawn area.
Not enough restrooms for 24000 people. Not enough food booths...Had to go out to eat after we left. One mile walk each way..
My absolute favorite and go to for concerts especially suring summer months. Affordable lawn seats just Pre game before in surrounding parkinglots and you're set for maybe only a few drinks inside since they're pricey
Decent venue but not the best, acoustics are great.
Reminds me of home and being at the white river ampatheater. Wonderful environment, and staff.
Nice place, free parking can be found, and nice place to view concert.
Not enough food vendors open today which creates long lines.
Venue is good for concerts, but if you plan to tailgate before be prepared woefully short of porta potties outside gates.
Fantastic venue to see a concert. Whether you're indoors, or roughin' it in the lawn, it's always a great time. Definitely a younger, wilder crowd in the lawn so if that's what you're planning on, be prepared.
Lost my phone at a show and they found it ! Yay love tgis place lots of great times here saw tons of concerts here !
They oversold for the event, 2.5hours sitting on the road trying to reach the venue to find lots closed (full). Had to park down a dark alley. Missed the opening act. NO signage. Police were not effective at managing traffic. Way too many people on the lawn for people to have blankets and chairs (again, it seemed to be oversold). On the plus side, sound was good, video screens worked fine and there was xfinity wifi.
Great summer fun, but expect to break ths bank at the concessions. Nice people behind the counters but they now put tips in your face as you sign for your digital purchase.
Venue is good but sound seemed too focused on instruments and not enough for voice.
Great place to see a show. Not really a bad seat in the whole place although the lawn can be crowded and can't see the show as well.
A good venue. We have seen a few concerts here along with a high school graduation ceremony. Our best practice for parking is to park a mile away from the venue and walk over to avoid traffic. During my last experience, I was disappointed with the security. A man in front of us was acting in a way that made us really uncomfortable and when I reported the incident, it was ignored by staff and security. A survey was sent to me after the event and when I brought up my concern again, it was ignored again.
Great Place to see a show, setup is much better than one in Mansfield
They definitely overcrowded the center but it was fun. Great music great food
Love this venue, spacious, not a bad seat in the place. Only complaint I have is the seats are hard and the beer is way overpriced !!
Love this theater. Not so giant to you feel overwhelmed. Lawn setting still has great view. Loved that during set changes that they offered a DJ to keep the crowd entertained. Off site parking 1mile + away...but free. Maybe a shuttle would be a nice offering.
Saw Chris Brown great venue sound was great seats were perfect...would go here again
Acoustics here are amazing. Would definitely come back!
Whatever name it goes by, this is one of the better sheds in New England. Large lawn, lots of lots.
Hope to attend more events there in the future... Awesome!
So many excellent memories over the 15 years i have been going to concerts at the MEADOWS! Pregame in a parking lot naturally, as nothing is cheap inside and just sit down early-ish for a good "cheap" dry grassy seat and enjoy the show. Miss you Tom Petty!
Great venue with a solid variety of concessions. Need to create a better parking situation.
Had a great time, hot most of the vendors before the show
Saw Tedeske trucks. Great place for a show. Good sound, comfortable seats, cold beer.
Nice place that's pretty clean and appears safe. VIP parking highly recommended! Have been here a few times and will be back. Prices are very high for food, drinks and memorabilia. It is partially Outdoors so beware the contact high. The smell of marijuana was strong from beginning to end of show. Very Loud also, especially if you sit up close to the stage!!
I loved this place!! There were many places to sit and relax outside of being at your seats! There are indoor and outdoor places to get food, drinks, snacks, merchandise and bathrooms. Easy access to and from the bathrooms and they quite clean all the time! Not a bad seat in the place and prices are INCREDIBLE! I mean incredible! Don't pass up an opportunity to visit the Xfinity Theatre this summer! Lots of great bands playing!
last night's concert had many people very upset and mostly furious! A terrible experience overall! Your theater ruined what could of been an amazing performance. You sold thousands of tickets, charged $30 to park in FREE parking, and even made thousands on liquor and other beverages but yet you had blown speakers and broken screens making the lawn a truly miserable experience. The amazing part is that those speakers were blown before the concert even started. They were off before the band started playing so that all we barely heard anything like vocals but just an echo of base coming from within the theater. Once those speakers were turned on it brought pain to many ears with the static crackling all throughout the lawn. You knew they were messed up but still sold tickets and made your money. When I asked for a refund, I was told that we can be put inside instead after missing 75% of the concert. I took today off from work along with my fiance, I drove an hour there and an hour back, and I payed $30 for parking. I'm utterly disappointed and I can ensure that I will not be coming back to Xfinity theater again
Saw a great show with Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace weather was perfect
The people selling beer in the lobby are friendly and funny!
This place is an awesome venue to see a concert. I have gone to many shows here, including Ozzfest. Seeing Lynyrd Skynyrd here was fun.
I have seen to many shows here to list them all.
You can get cheap lawn seats, but risk being caught in the elements. You end up sitting on the grass or perhaps on a blanket. The pitfall there is some people urinate at the top of the hill on the fence.
I like to get an actual seat, under the roof. The views are mostly great. They attract lots of great acts/performers here.
There are lots of good parking options in the area.
Food and drinks can get a little pricey here, but that is to be expected at a place like this.
Good times
I've been to several concerts at the Xfinity Theatre and the facilities and staff are great. It's easy to get to but it can be a walk if you don't want to pay a ton for parking. The outside food vendors are diverse and interesting but the prices for beer are unnecessarily high. (I guess that's what you pay when you go to a concert.) I will say that the service and amenities are pretty consistent across different concerts, regardless of who's playing.
Saw Iron Maiden her this week. Sound was fantastic. They allow you to bring in empty water bottles and fill them at their free filtered water station - which was awesome. The Venue was a 15 walk from the Hilton.
I love this place! The bathrooms are clean. Sorry maybe my bar is low but did I mention the bathrooms are clean? Because they are. I recommend setting up on the lawn if it is nice and always have seats under the roof. It protects from both rain and the hot sun. If you can afford VIP parking get it in advance. Otherwise you may walk a long way. It pays to arrive early and avoid the lines. There is a pass to cut the line for an extra charge paid in advance. Enjoy!
The show was great, but the parking was a nightmare! We completely missed the opening act. We were forced to park a mile away and take a shuttle bus. After the show, we sat on that same bus for over an hour, waiting to get out of the parking lot. There must be a better way to manage the traffic flow. I will not be returning to this theater.
Overcrowded, bad traffic flow after shows, expensive beverages.
Very unorganized. Worst experience I ever had at any location for a concert. Over booked and people who have no clue on how to run an establishment.
Lot of fun on the lawn for Dave Matthews Band. Next year we will try the seats
Anything having to do with XFINITY HAS AN UNDERLINING RIP OFF IN VERY TINY PRINT. OR NOT PRINTED AT ALL! WORST COMPANY BESIDES CNN.
Great facility, great free parking (just get there early), easy in/out.
This place has many events concerts etc.. its a great place to do someth8ng postive and it has security to maintain a safe environment
Wish i could go to a concert here soo bad, everyone held here...people say its amazing. If i could go to any type of concert here it would have to be One Direction! Yupp im a directioner;-)!
Saw Chris brown perform here, heartbreak on a full moon tour, it was a little confusing at first arriving with V.I.P parking and placement but once handled it was a nice venue and show. Chris seemed a little uninspired in the Hartford arena but nonetheless the arena was impressive.
I love that they added the free purified water refill stations!
Bring or buy a chair if you're going to be on the lawn
Blink 182. Lil Wayne. Brings back memories and how much I love concerts and people watching.
Traffic & Parking is the worst I ever experienced...in 50 years of attending concerts! Shame on Live Nation!!!
Decent place for concerts and entertainment but very expensive food and goodies plus bathrooms are always gross and raunchy.
Not a bad music venue only problem is they claim to want moderate drinking but only sell 24oz beers stupid
The venue is fantastic however get ready to spend your life savings on a drink and as soon as you get a buzz at 10:30 All bars are closed. It's highway robbery on top of a buzz kill.
If I could give zero stars I would. I ve been coming here since it was the Meadows Music Center and I ve never had a problem until today. VERY rude and nasty security guards ruined what was supposed to be a fun day for me.
They allowed chairs and blankets at Godsmack. Hope this is an ongoing procedure for future rock shows. Updated bathrooms and snack bars in arena make it more convenient
On site parking- there is a free lot but it fills up fast. Parking near the theater on the grounds is 40$. Handicap accessible is free at this lot. Off site near by runs 20 - 30 bucks. Everything inside is ridiculously normal high priced. The theater setting and seating is great. The sound is great. The video and screens, not so. The show were saw, Chris Young and Chris Janson was just amazing and country.
The live nation people that work shows are simply put, extraordinarily nice, friendly, polite and helpful to a person. This is one of the most amazing things about going to a show here.
