The food is good, you get A LOT of it, and it's pretty inexpensive. Especially when considering the portion sizes. A good, old school, local Italian joint for sure. Would I drive 30 minutes from Youngstown to go there again? Probably not.

Would give zero stars if possible. Our family called ahead to ensure we d have seating for 14 + 2 kids - we were told it wouldn t take long, possibly 25 minutes. We told them we d be there in 20 minutes; when we got there, they told us it would be over an hour. When I told them there was a reason we called ahead, the short fat man rudely told me we don t take reservations, i don t know what you want me to do. Word of mouth travels fast, dear. Maybe you should consider taking reservations to save yourself from wasting your attitude on someone who can give it back. 16+ people would have likely spent nearly $500 at your establishment, but now we won t, and WON T ever again. We will also advise others to avoid, too.

PS - it s the 21st century. Get gluten free noodles for those with food sensitivities. And a changing table that isn t a food prep table.

Let me start off by saying, my family loves this place, me on the other hand, not so sure. I ordered something pretty safe, Chicken Parmesan. When it came out, the cheese on top of it was melted, but cold and hard and the marinara set my mouth on fire. I believe I may have been given the spicy sauce by accident. I had ordered something to go when I placed my order for my husband, I asked the waitress if this was going to be the same sauce and she said yes. I told her to cancel it then because it was way too spicy and he couldn't eat it. She never asked me if I wanted something else or apologized or anything as to why I hadn't touched my meal. I am very disappointed in that I spent $22/tip , on something I couldn't eat and no offer to fix either. I know mistakes are made, but acknowledge and offer, to keep a customer.

Stopped in for dinner. They have a rotating 2 dollar beer special had a black and tan. Ordered the fettuccine alfredo with broccoli and chicken was on special. Also came with side salad and a roll which might as well be considered a small loaf of bread. Overall very solid nothing negative to say large portions. Would definitely come back if I ever find myself in the area again

Awesome portions, good flavors, I could taste the fresh ingredients, very cheerful staff. Thin pizza was the bomb, the wedding soup was delicious & I really liked the house dressing. Oh and my buddies loved the $2 long neck beers.

Come here hungry. Portion sizes are big enough to share (though they'll charge an extra $4 of you do and don't order an appetizer). The roll that came with the salads would be considered a will loaf of bread elsewhere for example. The food came out quick and was tasty. My only complaint was the dining room can get rather noisy. Booths are packed in fairly close, isles in-between are wide enough for one maybe two to walk down at a time.

A large variety of good tasting sauces on your pick of pasta types; this is a pasta restaurant versus an Italian restaurant so if you want a carb fix with their huge portions then you will like this restaurant. The industrial decor is attractive and the bar area was nice and quiet on a Wednesday evening. Would love to see homemade pasta, cooked al dente and some inventive dinner choices

The food was amazing. The service was beyond perfect. There was a wait but it was shorter then we had been told which was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be going back very soon.

On the night my man proposed, we dined here. The best part of the meal is the roll. It is authentic Italian like my neighbor Julia Zanivan used to share. Everyone attests to the generous portions; fill out a comment card and they send you a postcard for your birthday with a $ off coupon. The butcher paper isn't fancy, so you can dress casually. You will go back and back.

Changed ownership a yr ago. This visit was much better TG! The kitchen is doing a much better job than our last 3 visits! Entree was bursting with flavor but served cold. A BIT DISAPPOINTED! Scallops were small (but not bay) Garlic & oil and greens were tasty. Everything was made with jarred minced garlic which has little flavor. Greens not spicy. Back to 1 salad dressing rather than a few to choose from. Was my favorite restaurant for many years, went "south" when sold to current owners ..now coming around again. Each dinner is served with big crusty roll-if you ask for another it'll cost you $1.00. Seating is plentiful. The acoustics are poor so it's noisy. Service was GREAT!

This place used to be an amazing place to get huge portions of Italian food. It was worth the drive from wherever you lived. Last night had me so upset, I will never go there again. The wedding soup was like warm & the carrots & celery in it were raw. The crumbled sausage tasted like it had freezer burn. The pasta looked & felt both undercooked & reheated, and there was a bunch of water under it on the plate. Meatballs were really just balls of meat, no flavor or texture. The chicken parm & homemade rolls were good, but other than that, it was $50 better spent elsewhere. I am not typically one to complain, I prefer to find the good in everything, but right now, the best I can hope for is that someone else reads this and is spared the major disappointment I feel over my last trip to Combine Brothers.

I drove 1hr 10min to get here. Kind of far to drive for dinner, but after eating here, I'd drive twice that! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Spicy Clams Diavolo with Bowties. The portions are huge (easily had two more meals with my leftovers). I tried the other dishes my family had too and they were all really good. Absolutely try this place. I know I'm going back next week!

I ate at Combine Brothers years ago weekley and loved the food. Its been a few years since my last visit. The Olive Pesto that I ordered last night was lumps of olives and some sort of sticky cheese; not close to the old recipe. My wife's pasta with olive oil and garlic was mashed, burnt garlic. Not good! Also the rolls that are typically crusty were soft and mushy. I understand its under new ownership since October. I think the new owner's need to revisit Combine's wonderful recipes.

The bruschetta was so spicy. I ordered marinara sauce with bowtie pasta baked with 3 cheese. The cheese was brown on top, not melted underneath, the pasta was not drained correctly so there was water all over my plate, and the sauce was barely there. I ve NEVER had marinara like that. It was also super hard to get a hold of our waitress. Will not be going back.
