The food is good a little pricey.They also have outdoor dining which is nice.I ordered Ribeye steak w/ vermicelli on side.They also give generous portions.

Went to Combine Brothers with family for an early dinner. We had a large group including two babies so we called ahead to ensure they had room. When being seated the manager attempted to put 16 adults plus 2 babies into three booths. It was not sufficient room so we asked for an additional booth. The manager gave us an extra booth but was rude and said that babies should not come to Combine Brothers. The food and service were good but the manager was incredibly rude. It appeared he did not want us to eat at his restaurant.

Not a variety of foods...was not impressed...my ziti better...sandwich dry...as soon as we took a bite of our food waitress wanted to give us boxes...felt uncomfortable and rushed by waitress

The food and service is good. My only issue is with the seating. It's very tight, if you weigh more than 100 lbs.

I ordered the pesto and it was very disappointing. I have had better pesto out of a jar. The place does have a cool concept how you choose your combinations of food for your meal.

This restaurant is amazing!!!!! Everything is homemade and, you can order your pasta any way you want it. Absolutely fabulous!

This place will always be my Go 2 in hermitage! I love this place. They did change.... tho.... used to give you huge bowls of salad. Now they will only give you individual small salads.. . The plate portions gotten smaller. With smaller portions of tomatoes in it. Besides the changes that I see... Will forever get the PINK PEPPER PASTA

Really large portions; enough for two people. Be aware though that there is a small fee for sharing. I think they realize their plates are huge. They have a nice selection of beer and wines with a different beer "on ice" every day for a great price. Multiple pasta success are available and there are a ton of additional ingredients you can add priced similar to adding toppings to a pizza.

The best Italian restaurant, perhaps in Western Pa. The ambient atmosphere is just short of feeling like a fine dining establishment, only the reasonable prices keep it a casual atmosphere with fine dining menu items. The menu selection is large, and one difficultly one may experience is the inability to make a quick choice of what to order. The food is excellent with large portions, especially the loaf of fresh bread that comes with it. The service is also amazing. Not only is the service friendly and helpful, most most importantly quick and on the spot. If for whatever reason you are traveling North or South through Sharon Pa., or traveling East or West on I-80 through Hermitage, make it goal to stop there and experience some of the best Italian food you will find.
On a side note, during this Covid-19 crisis, this restaurant is enforcing the mask rules to gain entry or move about the place, so have a mask handy before entering.

Fantastic in every respect. It had been 15 years since I ate that this establishment and it s just as good today as it was then. Extremely generous portions and great service overall. It s a little bit off of I 80 but well worth the 2 miles. Plenty of parking, easy to get into and out of as well.

Was told wait was 30 to 40 minutes. Waited for over an hour. For a very small table next to the kitchen. Food was ok, but not worth the wait!!

The most important part of our experience was our server!! I apologize but I don't remember her name, but I know she has been with Combine Brothers for 28 years!! Talk about amazing dedication, they must be doing something right for thier employees!!
The industrial look of the place is okay. Not sure how I feel with the aluminum flooring, as it really didn't add anything special but had you thinking of the floor and not the overall environment.
Now of course to the food. Again, the server made all of the difference in our first time experience!! She is the reason we will be back with our 4 adult children!! She knows how to take care of and anticipate the needs of the customer. As we had never experienced the variety of sauces offered, she went out of her way to bring us a variety of the popular sauces and then followed that up with bringing out our individual requests!! Now that is how you make sure the customer is going to enjoy the Combine experience!! My wife had the Cabanara pasta dish and enjoyed it but has had better at other places. I had the 8 oz Ribeye, medium cook, with the vermicelli and black olive, garlic and olive oil sauce. I enjoyed every bite and as I like spice, i added the red pepper flakes to all!! That made it amazing and i ate it all!!
A comment on the bread, aka extra large rolls!! You will see comments on and additional roll will cost you $1. For us, the one roll per entree was plenty!! Plus, we don't need the extra carbs on top of the pasta. The bread is very good. The only thing they need to offer instead of the nasty butter packs is the shallow, wide bowls with olive oil!! Then the customer can season with salt, black pepper or red pepper flakes as they desire!! That would make the experience with this bread, heavenly!!
So overall, a very good experience. Just a couple of areas to improve upon, in my opinion.

I have been coming here since I was 5. One of my favorites. Good food, awesome portions and good people.

Get the fried greens.

Quantity does not guarantee quality. After reading most of the reviews, it is evident that quantity is more important to the local reviewer. The menu is a large combination of a few kinds of pasta and different sauces. I requested Pellegrino water and they didn't have any. I requested calamari, they didn't serve that. We ordered lasagne, they didn't have that either. The reason we were given for the lack of calamari was because they don't fry food; she said the chef said it isn't healthy. But a huge portion of pasta swimming in cream sauce is? It is clearly apparent that none of the owners or kitchen staff has ever been to Italy. Native Italians would gasp at what the restaurant chef and owners call Italian cuisine. Having studied in Italy and spent a lot of time there, I can attest that there is nothing remotely Italian about the food at Combine Brothers. The service was nonexistent. Needless to say we didn't stay for dinner.

Great meal every time. Large portions, well made. Always take some home for the next day(or two). The rolls are outstanding. Always get an extra to go.
