Exceptional service, especally from Dustin K., the sales person. Great people to work with, on time with all deliveries, and they are willing to work with you to resolve all construction needs. Highly recommend.
I special ordered 5 interior doors for a remodel. They were done on time and actually delivered early. I found I had miss-ordered 3 of them. I was prepared to eat the cost. The management could not have been more helpful . They reordered the doors for me and did not make me feel stupid! I am a customer for life.
I wish I could give a negative but I can t. We have lived in our house for 7 months and we re missing screens. I ve talked to Kirk the manager numerous times and he hasn t been helpful. We call and get status and no one will call us back. Today on 3/14/19 my wife called to get status on the screens we were still missing, she spoke with mike he was going to check on them and call her back and no one did. The neighbor had seen Justin the salesman from BMC leaving our house. when my wife got home one screen was laying in the yard and the other two were in our driveway. Come to find out they weren t our screens they were the neighbors the one that had saw Justin leaving our house. I did receive a call from the manager Kirk and he did apologize that we weren t taken care of. He did follow up with us and made sure we did receive our screens and that they did fit which was greatly appreciated. I did get a follow up from Justin the salesman as well.
Slow yard service, high prices. Waited 30 minutes in the yard to pick up 7 pieces of lumber. Altogether it took more than an hour to finally get those 7 boards. Not going back.
After waiting almost a week for a call from Franklin went to bmc and got great service
Nick is the worst kitchen cabinet sales person ever. DO NOT USE BMC WEST! I made an appt for Nick to give me an estimate on redoing my kitchen cabinets, he scheduled it for 2 pm on February 23rd, a good time for me & my husband to take off work & meet him at our home. 2:30 came and went, I called the front desk and the lady said he was at lunch(she wasn't very friendly) I explained that I had an appt. with him and needed to know if he was going to make it. She said all she could do was leave him a message. He called me at 4pm and actually said he had SPACED our appt. & wanted to know if he could come sometime the following week. I asked why he couldn't just come out and he reluctantly agreed to stop by on his way home. He finally showed up at 4:30 and was very rude, boy did we inconvenience him. He said he'd have our estimate the next week. I called twice and he finally got back to me 3 weeks later & said he was working on it still. On March 30th I ended up walking into the building to physically talk to him, he said he was still working on it and I should give him another week. I went back again on April 3rd, the front desk gal let him know I was there but he wouldn't come talk to me & I left after waiting 25 minutes. Nick has never once reached out to me or followed up with me. I still never received an estimate and it's now May 12th....almost 3 months have passed. He is the worst and I don't see how the owners of BMC allow him to get away with treating their customers so poorly. This valley is too small and I understand everyone is busy right now but what happens when it slows down and you've pissed off a bunch of people???
I had a door kicked in by an angry renter. I went to every door place in Boise and the soonest I could get a door was 2 to 4 weeks. I went to BMC west and Johnny and the crew rehung my door on a new am in less than 2 hours. They did every thing they could to make sure my house was secure. They truly saved the day.
I'm not surprised by the rating of this company. We have been able to get materials in a much more reasonable timeline from a company 400 miles away. And when I say reasonable timeline, I'm talking 6 weeks..
BMC seems to have the products my house was actually built with (siding, trim, molding, doors, etc.) unlike the big box home improvement stores. I've purchased items in small quantities multiple times, sometimes cut to length, without issue and at great prices. I even brought in my front door in and they cut an opening in it and installed the glass panel for me.
Matt Downey from BMC sent out someone (do not have the name of the man he sent ) to install door sweeps on two of our doors. The front door had some air leakage, and was hard to open and close. He adjusted the front door and now it opens and closes smoothly, this was a bonus for us. He did a great job, and we appreciate his work!
Not one person greeted us or ask to help us. We were looking for a front entry door and French doors. We were there 15 minutes, no other customer in sight and no one acknowledged us. We will take our business elsewhere!
Terrible if I could give a zero star I would employees inside are rude and even calling in a question, was on hold for 10 min for them to pick up like I wasn't already on hold for 10 minutes . To top it off when they finally got back on the phone they couldn't answer a simple lumber question.

Your truck driver almost killed me. He pulled in front of me from the middle lane across traffic into your company and I had to slam on my brakes and swerve over 2 lanes into the middle lane to miss his long bed. I'll be calling once you are open.
