Do not stay here unless you want your things stolen.
Since I m a college student I brought two chapters of my looseleaf textbook in a binder with me to study with on the trip. We ended up transferring rooms and I left my binder on the table. My mother who I was staying with also remembers me leaving the binder. Housekeeping entered the room right after we transferred, so the next day we went to the front desk to get the binder at lost and found. We were told nothing had been returned at lost and found, so we searched the room, because it was an unassuming grey binder, the staff may have overlooked it. The binder s gone. I was in town for a wedding, once I got to the hotel I didn't take any of my belongings out of the hotel except the clothes I wore that weekend and my wallet sized purse. I remember exactly where I left the binder.

Now if someone would steal something as insignificant as two chapters of an anatomy textbook, imagine what would happen to your actual valuables.

Now I have to scrape up the money to buy a whole new $100+ textbook before my test next week.

edit: The owner replied underneath my comment and while I appreciate the gesture, it's empty. My mother gave her phone number to the woman at the front desk to contact us about the binder and I also left my phone number in a message. I have heard nothing. The lost and found department didn't pick up the phone, it simply seems that they do not care about my item. I would have at least expected a call back even if they didn't find it, but I have heard nothing. I'm normally not this upset about things but I desperately need those chapters for my test. Even if it was thrown away, this shows a lack of care with guest's items. So I just want to warn anyone who is thinking of staying here...not only will your things go missing no one will care enough to help you find them.

Here for business and it has been an enjoyable stay. Very nice accomadations, comfortable beds and pillows! Very spacious area and has restuarant on site. I ordered a steak which came out better than expected. Finished with the apple cris dessert and that was good too. The work out center is huge. I should have brought my gym gear. I have added some photos for those looking to work out when visiting. There is a huge water fountain in the lobby area which is very relaxing to work or socialize. Overall, very happy with my stay and the staff.

The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. The concierge lounge is great too. The rest of the hotel is a bit outdated and run down. One of the elevator doors broke and wouldn't work for a while when I arrived, so that was no good. Exercise facility is good, but the TV screen on the treadmill rattled all crazy when I ran so I felt like more of a fat guy than I really am. Overall not bad though.

My husband and I stayed here the night of our honeymoon and it was nothing short of amazing. I enjoyed the room, the friendly staff and the concierge. Faith was very nice as well as the supervisor whose name I forgot. I also really enjoyed the room! When my husband and I needed housekeeping the MANAGER came and cleaned. I was amazed and that just showed us how much they cared. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable :) I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel even for a staycation

Front desk staff seem to be very slow and not as competent as some.
Had to wait quite a while before getting served and even then it was very frustrating because I had failed to make my reservation through the mobile app, the next morning tried to get help to use points for my reservation and they didn t seem to be able to do anything for me except give me the 1-800 reservations number which didn t do me any good either. Not very happy about that

The hotel was fine. However Marriott travelers who like to work should beware of the gym. There is an infomercial that they pipe into the gym for some stupid home fitness product that they don't even have at the gym. The infomercial runs continuously and repeats every 30 minutes. It's enough to drive you mad.

Really nice high end place to stay. Nice M lounge with your rewards. Great spot to have meetings or events. The main lobby is huge. They've got a full restraunt in there. The pool is gone fyi. Hardly anyone every used it. A huge shoutout to that Coffee machine in the Lounge!! It's like getting your star bucks without the sugary stuff. But FREE. All staff is very pleasant. Well dressed as they are well spoken and go the extra mile to help their guest with whatever it is they need. From directions to booking a room and finding their way around this giant hotel!

We arrived around 8pm, the person who checked us in was wearing their mask under their chin, nose and mouth exposed. This person clearly had a cold which further demonstrated that they have been exposing themselves to viruses. The restaurant was understandably closed but the receptionist didn't want to offer up any suggestions as to how we might get food, responding to all of my questions in a minimal, bored way. Not a great experience. The (different) receptionist the next morning could not have been more helpful or appropriately masked but all in all, this was not a Marriott standard experience.

Not sure what everyone's issue is... the design of this property is dated but the interior and rooms are renovated + the service personal and outstanding. Beyond that, most items are the same as any Marriott brand; no free wifi, expensive breakfast, etc. A++ for service, looking forward to my next trip. I'd say fair price for this property is around $135 for a week night.

All the charm of a 1965 Holiday Inn crossed with a hospital. My room had all hard surfaces so you heard every footfall and toilet flush. There was no desk, so how can a business traveler work? The light bar above the bed looked as if it was ready to hang a bag of saline. There was no way to keep the fan running to at least block out the flushing and noise from the hall.

If you need to work or conduct business, choose another hotel.

The staff is to be commended, however.

Friendly staff - easy check in, kind housekeeper. Clean room. Only complaint is that the room had a bit of a lingering smoke smell... Possibly once a smoking room before the hotel was converted to smoke free? Also the room's location right next to the AC unit made for some noise when the AC switched on. But overall, the experience is great.

We enjoyed this place. Our room was nice. Very up-to-date. Lots of outlets, and the TV had several streaming apps (so for example we could log in to our Netflix account). There was a very nice workout room. Possibly the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel.

Rooms and breakfast were nice. Customer service was awful they lied to us about not having the room we reserved available put my family of 4 and a baby in a king with pull out and a shower when we called down and said this would not work we at least need a tub to bathe our baby they gave us a huge attitude sent someone up with keys to a new room and hung up on us. The guy couldn't even help us move over to the new room. (It ended up being the room we originally booked..) I won't be coming here again.

Very nice hotel especially now that they completed their remodel a couple years ago. Beds are now super comfy so my #1 priority is addressed; waking well rested without a back pain. Also, the bathroom remodel is awesome. Very functional, spacious and they used upscale granite and other nice materials. Good workmanship as well which means the hotel GM did their due diligence to ensure the construction company delivered. I used to stay at the downtown Renaissance and they remodeled their rooms/bathrooms using similar shower door slide mechanisms and drain pans but they're not as nicely done as at the Airport Marriott. Strange since Renaissance is supposed to be a higher-end property. Downtown Columbus Renaissance from the structural perspective is nicer but not with the little details that a regular business travel relies on to make the trip away from home pleasant visit. Sorry to go on but another thing that makes the Airport Marriott excellent is the M Lounge which all total is better than a Concierge lounge like the Renaissance. A Concierge Lounge is open 6am-10pm and they swap breakfast at 0900 and evening appetizers at 1930 sharp. If you're late by 60 seconds your out of luck. The M Lounge leaves breakfast out until 1030 and they have all the normal Concierge Lounge breakfast items and even some extras like smoked salmon. Hor D'oeuvres and dinner items are continually restocked until 8:55pm. After breakfast the M Lounge puts out snacks items such as trail mix, M&M's, gummy bears, 2-3 kinds of cookies, bagged snacks like Cracker Jack's and kettle chips. Plus, since it's open 24 hours if you want a midnight snack or just a bottle of water you can use your card key and go grab a well stocked pantry. Upside of a Concierge Lounge is they can cater to specialty needs with items such as Egg Sub Scramble and Chicken breakfast sausage for those watching high fat/cholesterol intake. Way more than I intended to say but hopefully helpful.

Stayed here for Ohio Elks State Convention. Staff very accommodating & helpful. A shuttle is available for rides to and from different attractions, availability depending on demand/amount of people requesting a shuttle. Rooms are modern & updated. Only thing I could think to do better is have a USB charge port in room although there are plenty of outlets, don't forget your wall charger. Great Marriott

I stay in Marriott hotels across the country 4 nights most weeks. Tara checked me in after a missed flight and noticed that the market didn t have an item I was looking for. Without being asked, she went out and purchased the item from a nearby store and delivered it to my room. That is the level of service that keeps me loyal. Keep up the great work!!

I was attending a training seminar at this location and was thoroughly impressed with the staff and provisions. The staff was dedicated to safety first and to filling our needs. The conference rooms are clean and comfortable. My only concern was the temperature. Several others agreed that they kept it way too warm throughout the day. We were provided with breakfast and lunch during the day. Breakfast was good. Nothing outstanding, but wasn't bad by any means. The pastries were not home made, but good nonetheless. The lunch was very good. They had a choice of barbecue chicken or pulled pork. It was very good and the sides were fresh with a nice selection. The staff was very courteous and quick to pick up your plates and trash. They always kept the drinks and Starbucks coffee well stocked throughout the day. My only suggestion would be to provide a small selection of flavored cream. All in all, this was a wonderful experience and deserves a high rating.

The Columbus Marriott Hotel reminds me of the Marriott resort or convention hotels that I have stayed at in other cities around the world. It is a very nice hotel and is located about 2 miles from the Columbus Airport. It's also very conveniently located a short distance from Interstate 670. There are several fine restaurants within an easy drive from the hotel. The hotel in some ways appears older, but the furnishings both in the rooms and throughout the hotel are very up to date. I've stayed in both the normal and upgraded rooms and was very impressed with both. If you have access to the concierge lounge on the first floor you won't be disappointed with what they have there. The hotel staff are Very thoughtful and friendly. I used to stay at the Courtyard across the street but now greatly prefer staying at the hotel instead.

Beautifully designed bathroom. Concierge lounge. Nice building aesthetics. Excellent staff. I love this hotel!! A word of warning though: there are no cameras in the parking lot. My vehicle was vandalized and thousands of dollars worth of equipment was stolen. Other than that I will definitely stay here every time I m in the Columbus area.
