Fine personal guidance during the lessons and beyond. The tests also offered sufficient challenge. IT could be better, but there are computer rooms with iMacs available. The various teachers clearly have a passion for the profession that they teach. This often helped the atmosphere. During the graduation I had the idea that there was a big difference between the various examiners, though not intentionally. However, the extra challenge from the training coordinator was not wrong.
The Windesheim is an amazing school to be in, I study ICT here and I have not encountered problems thus far.
Pabo distance learning. Very poor guidance. Lecturers and departmental leader hardly respond to mail / show no interest in student, Elo not in order, minimal communication towards the student. Administrative errors are finally corrected after e-mailing. Counselors appear to have retired or been fired without reporting. Checking can take months. Entering numbers in Educator ditto. Once you have graduated, after you have had to figure out that you have to apply for your own certificate for a certain date, you will receive an e-mail with the words 'best student' .... Congratulations ..., how personal! Not a word of congratulation from the SLB employee. As far as I know, tuition fees are equal to students who follow the study at Windesheim itself, including supervision, lessons, etc. Students who learn at a distance do not receive any service and must follow everything because there is hardly any information available, even via Sharepoint and there is, as said, hardly any response to mail. This story is not isolated. Of the, I believe, 30 students started in September. 2010, less than 5 have passed. These were all older students, with an OA prior education, who knew what the education entailed, but proved unable to withstand the slow, impersonal and bureaucratic nature of Windesheim ...
Good school, a bit of a shame about the X building.
Beautiful campus. Training is highly regarded and teachers are very professional and helpful.
Notice a difference between quality of study and quality of the school buildings between different studirs. As a 1day in the week student we get the ' oldest ' building which can make a difference in perception of quality compared to the newest white building with all the triangles. All my teachers are quite old 45-65 which means some mistakes and slowness are bound to happen which can be very irritating for some fellow classmates. Nevertheless this is my only 'complaint'. The school has a lot of facilities such as enough cafeteria's, more than enough seatings outside of class rooms, vending machines and clean toilets. I also think the way my business study is build up is very well made and I do learn a lot. I enjoy my time studying here.
Yes, everything is just terribly badly arranged, teachers who ignore your messages / emails (at a teacher training course still !!), the online lessons hardly work, or not, teachers shrug off as much responsibility as possible, overly bureaucratic, you can only use debit cards in the whole building and so on .... Moderate
Good architectural and civil education with attention for the student. Like all schools, a huge workload for teachers to provide documentation, but students hardly suffer from this. The innovative 3D printing, VR and AR lab is certainly a nice addition.
PABO Windesheim Zwolle: staff are helpful and motivated. Windesheim wide also satisfied.
Chocolate with whipped cream and caramel flakes at the coffee corner - that makes a student happy!
They have a pool. But building X is still on the verge of collapse.
HBO-ICT. Enthousiaste docenten die met je mee denken
We were at the drive thru graduation ceremony, very nice!
ICT, software engineering is top there. I cannot say much about the rest
At the journalism school they try to mold the students into a mold, supposedly to prepare them for a job in the writing, radio, information or television world. Instead of mind-expanding, this training is mind-constipating and leaves the future media professional with blinkers. Of course they do impart some knowledge, but it is frightening how selective and limited it is. The level of this and that teacher also does not help to change or improve the worrisome situation. In short: I have serious doubts about this "training" ..... ps: do you like my reviews? Please like me ... When you read this and are still at school or have already obtained your diploma, are you probably already too far gone (brainwashed) to rate this review ....
Intro Escape room architecture as a coach reception 1st year.
Beautiful new buildings with many beautiful outdoor spaces
If you study here it's a great place, not for tourists
Good school (accountancy) where the teacher is very involved in the career of the student.
To follow my HBO after MBO I followed a transfer program here. In addition, we received physics, Dutch, English and mathematics. The lessons were well prepared and I learned a lot in a short time. It was a good connection to HBO. The location is easily accessible on foot from the station, and is laid out in a logical manner. The coffee at the coffee bar was also very good!
Windesheim is a good school, but in my personal experience it is sometimes more about bringing in as many students as possible than making sure that the students get the attention and direction they need. It is therefore a pity that communication between the faculty, the dean and the study success center does not always run smoothly, which can cause stress for the student.
Am I satisfied with this school? Not directly. The prices at the food and beverage options are constantly increasing. If you feel like having coffee, you better do a study of 'Where is Waldo' first. Forget your debit card, then you won't get far and you can walk that whole stretch back to the station to get food there. You can work quietly after 17:00 with luck. Nothing to complain about training.
Good tidy school public transport is close to trains and buses and also a large canteen
Excellent college, the teaching is good. Too bad about the new corporate identity, really unpleasant. I think something is not quite right in the marketing department.
Education: Generally a good school. The quality of education differs greatly per teacher. One person gives his profession with passion, the other is capable of shuffling up slides, but you will still keep that in every educational institution. ELO is sometimes a bit cumbersome, but you also get out of that. Parking: In a word: Disastrous. Especially since the closure of the X building. Standing for three quarters of an hour in front of the barrier is no exception. Alternative is 15 minutes walk, then you can put your car on a dark unlighted parking lot (De bierton) and hope that on seeing back your vehicle the windows + belongings are still there. Nowadays again with the train to school. Food: Coffee machines are affordable at 16 cents, they have to do it. For the coffee lovers there is a coffee bar with better coffee, and even a Starbucks for people with a thick wallet. The sports cafe serves mainly (read: cheap) fries with the food that is sold in the evening. In the C building more normal food, but the quality of the food is not top, but affordable with 5.04. Where that extra 5 cents this year suddenly comes from is a mystery to me. To study: Throughout the campus there are sufficient study places. If you want you can even reserve a room. The Wi-Fi is also fast with 300-400 Mbit / s. Office chairs are comfortable enough.
Open day care and welfare visited and a fine impression of various training. 10 April also for specific knowledge of the training experience expert for upcoming professional. From experiential knowledge ... to care dream, to care!
A great HBO-IT training done with very good teachers and coaches.
Generally a good school, but the school is experimenting a lot and the students often suffer. A few years ago they had increased the BSA of my education to 54 points. The result: many students dropped out or had to stop studying. A few years later they lowered it because they found that it is not realistic. The government (minister) has also indicated that the BSA can now (a few years later) be a maximum of 40 points.
Good guidance and support, the teachers ensure that you develop your good side. However, the elo is not in good order.
Very nice workplace, with good guidance. Lots of independence, so you learn to make quick choices yourself and to be able to work on your own. You will be well trained here for the job that you can get later with your education through practical weeks, projects and theory. Very good school!
We all do training digitally, we also tell a story. But the service services are taking it off. Take back control.! Decide what you want. Live digitally but also physically. Create and share your knowledge and skills. Because together we make progress. Technology gives us possibilities and offers enormous powers. Within 3 seconds you can reach the whole world. And we are all digitally connected. This new era requires new thinking. "WHAT WILL YOU GIVE THE WORLD"?
Nice place, atm space shortage but everyone is helpful.
Parking spaces are always full. Traffic controllers are rude.
It is great how people are trying to shape education in this corona crisis
Very good place to study in a bustling city. There is a lot of possibility for guidance for those looking for that, but you can also go through your studies completely independently. For students with a car, parking ( 2 per 24 hours) is very affordable and with a 10-minute walk from the station, the university is also very well served by public transport. The catering will be carried out by Eurest as of 1-1-2016, which has a very diverse range of lunches and suppers. Partly thanks to the campus, all courses are well connected, although some courses are slightly more independent than others. All in all a great place to study, # 1 in the recent Elsevier study test.
Expensive coffee and canteen and X building is about to collapse
This school is a good school to study. I study Software Engineering here. The facilities are great and the teachers are mostly good. I've you have questions they are eager to help. It can be crowded sometimes. Then it's hard to find a quiet place to study, but most of the times you can find a place with good internet and electricity to hook up your laptop.
It is a great school. Due to personal circumstances I had to leave the course, but the supervision was good. I did a course within the Movement and Education domain. Like every school, there are points for improvement, but they are training-specific and not necessarily Windesheim-wide.
This is a review about distance learning LEM English, not about Windesheim in general. Do not register for this training. DO NOT DO IT! Prefer to opt for a part-time course with contact hours. Distance learning means 0 guidance at Windesheim, which means sky-high demands. Lecturers receive fewer hours of supervision for a distance student and show you that. They would rather lose you than get rich. Only if you are highly motivated and have a university level of thinking will you be able to get through the new program independently, but even then it will never work within 4 years. You will have to complete a foreign module during the summer holidays, etc. It is not taken into account that you are working. Very often you will receive very negative feedback from the teachers with no explanation how to improve this. It is of course also easy to cancel the work of students who have never been supervised. Material that day students are taught is thrown on ELO and you can find it out. There are now so few students left that you can no longer really help each other (you are all busy with something else). Many people from the old class have graduated, but from the new class where you have to do the foreign module, pass CPE, complete General linguistics, etc .. none of the distance students has graduated yet !!!! Teachers regularly fail to answer emails. In short, if I would treat my students like the Windesheim teachers treat me well then I would have been fired for a long time. It's really terrible that I started this. Happy when I'm relieved from misery. VAT for your thesis you will receive 8 ECT. ECTs are totally out of proportion to the work you have to do for them. It has been complained about before. Even filed a petition. Nothing changes. You are only thwarted even more.
Enjoyed a nice time here while studying journalism. The teachers were happy to teach, but at the time the quality of the training was debatable. How is this present I am not aware.
Hardly any responses on email despite several attempts and reminders. Hard to reach anyone by phone as well; they all seem to work parttime or having coffee breaks. One wonders how they ever get their students in anyhow, especially when it comes to professional education.
The coffee machines are always broken and there is always a queue / file in the morning between the station and school.
