Coles Epping Reviews

Friday 2 Nov 2018 around 20:30 I was at Coles Epping - a complete mess! - long queues at ordinary check-outs and 11 customers at self-checkout before me. Many customers having problems. I moved to Checkout 1, poor Bilal - overworked and still with a faint smile attending to the checkout, - a lady whose cards did not work, selling cigarettes and attending to returns and exchanges.
WHERE WAS THE MANAGER, I know, he was at the loading dock.
Well, too bad, a manager is a manager and if the management is aware of what happens at this time on Fridays and they don't do what they should do - bring extra people. Obviously they DON'T HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR US THE CUSTOMERS.
To the store manager: do your job properly
To the upper management: wake up..!
I have been a customers of Coles for more than 20 years in Epping and I would appreciate a response from the relevant person.

Always get fresh fruit and veg. Always clean and the staff are very friendly

Convenient location, good number of available parking, good range of products including a saction for clothing. Couple of suggestion for them will be to have a bread slicing m/c for bread loafs and a speed breaker at bottom of lane to parking. People are crazy enough to drive fast at turn while it's a shared path with pedestrians

Baskets are not placed back at the entrance frequently enough.

Convenient location with ample parking. Good for quick shopping as well as your weekly shopping needs.

A dirty coles that never seems to have fully stocked shelves

Local food supermarket with good service. Can be better maintained.

Good place for shoppers. Excellent selection of groceries and department store varieties. Good deals and excellent customer service.

This may not be the biggest Coles, but they have a good range of Western and Eastern produce and groceries. Well laid out and easy access. Bit of a walk to the railway station if you have to carry a lot. Parking underneath works well, but you can only turn left.out of their Carpark. Keep in mind that they use coin operated shopping trolleys, so either bring a $1 or $2 coin or be prepared to wait at the help desk for a while.

Fresh produce and flowers are available most of the days until late at night... all the products in the catalogue are available most of the times and customer service is great

Great location, been coming here for over 10years, huge store, best thing is that it has undercover parking at the basement level good for when is raining

Staffs mostly are so very nice and helpful. Hopefully get more organic and healthy food section.

It's very handy to purchase last minute food items for family & friends

Very handy location and really good working hours. Parking might be a little difficult at times.

Always open and usually well stocked. Queues are short except during the afternoon rush hour. - Update. Recent regular equipment failures and a disregard for customer service has justified a re-evaluation and a downgrade in rating from 4 to 3 stars.

They use THOSE STUPID trolleys that need COINS to separate them from the other trolleys!!!

It was good , they had everything on my list , & it was easy to get parking Its great you have to pay $2 (refundable) for a trolley , far less likely to see them cluttering the streets , wish all Coles & Woolworths did the same.!

Big Coles, lots variety and lots of people park in the Carpark next door but don't realise there is parking underneath the building

Epping Coles is spacious and offers a huge range of items. Fresh produce, deli and clothing. There is undercover carpark which is a bonus.

This place doesn t sell alcohol
It won't go well.

Wasn't very good I'm afraid.. but in the big scheme of things it's a first world problem.. so I'm not going to go on about it..

As always great variety helpful staff. But staff always under pressure due to volume of customers. Extra staff required

The thing I like about this coles is that they do sell clothes which most coles don't have it

Great place great staffs.. It's a big store selling all products in coles catalog. Has a huge parking too.

Good environment, prices are generally on sale and quite affordable

Nicely set up with the convenience of car park underneath. Staff helpful and courteous.

My go to grocery shopping after work. Please don t pack up the veggies to soon.

I didn't know much change to put in the trolley carts.. hehe

Good place to shop but a pain if you're driving there.

It is a Coles like any other. However, the public bathroom just outside it is my favourite public bathroom in the world. It is amazing! It talks to you, it's accessible to wheelchair and blind, it plays you music; it is like a space station bathroom with beautiful forest outside and a futuristic inside. Even the taps are hidden, you just put your hands inside this space and it just shoots out! If you're in the area and need to pee, check it out. It auto unlocks and opens after 10 minutes though, so if you're going to take longer than that be prepared for the world to watch.

Typical Coles, nothing too special here, would give it a better rating if they had a better bakery.

Excellent service, always has things I want in stock.

Pretty nice. Has a lot of food, although at night the run out of a lot of things, so that means the customers may not get what they want until the next day or so. Pretty crowded, but lots of space, kind of.

Decent range for a local store, parking available. Difficult spot to get in and out of by car if you need to get back to the Epping Rd side

Large coles. Sufficient parking. Near epping station and major bus stops.

Wow it's like a time warp here so old. No parking no bread. Pretty sure it looked like this 15 years ago. Expecting more from Coles and limited staff in place on my day of purchase. All there is to say is upgrade is well overdue.

Massive supermarket, with awesome prices. Plenty of parking, very accessible.

Not a huge range like you will find at other Coles stores. Definitely in need of an overhaul sometime in the future to make it more modern.
Very difficult to practice social distancing at the entrance to the building and in the fruit and veg area.

Veg and Fruit are always not fresh. Baskets and plastic begs are always difficult to find. This is the worst Coles in Sydney.

Fair range of products, but not as good as compared to the one in Top Ryde. Staff are usually disinterested and just about behave civil. Never seen them smile or engage with friendliness. Fresh veggies section can improve in stocking and range.

One stop Shop for most of the home needs and best part is they are open till midnight except on Sundays and right next to the park that is amazing for kids.

Would be great if they can sell goat meat and variety of fishes like Spanish mackerel, baby sharks.

The one stop destination for all midnight craving and everyday essentials. This particular Coles has got clothing too

This store is badly managed and staff are not at all helpful

This Coles is legit my fav, it has a great range of instant noodles

There is always long queues to pay and there is almost none assisted checkouts to use. If you can, don't come.

Very good at 7am .. Nobody else shopping. Plenty of parking. Only downside is that the Fruit area is not restocked at that time.

I stole some bread because it was right outside of the exit. Seriously Coles step up your game in security.

Great size and helpful staff. Only issue is getting out of the parking and back onto Beecroft road, but what can you expect in Epping

Always runs out of coriander and getting in and out is a nightmare. Other than that, it's your average Coles.
