We were going to rejoin the MTA this year until we found out the current CEO went and bought a company Porsche worth around $150,000 with members money. That is disgusting, especially considering the current environment and so many members are struggling. Shame on you MTA.
MTA was never the same after CEO Jim Gibbons left the association and Peter Sands sadly departed.
When I found out the current CEO bought a company Porsche, I told my dad not to renew his membership to the MTA.. and he didnt <3
We have always found the MTA to be a wealth of knowledge, and to always be ready and willing to help us with whatever HR or motor industry questions or advice we need.

Was in the brink of cancelling my membership but when the new area manager came, he stressed the benefits of being a member and since then they provide my business an assistance a new owner needs.

Have been spamming my email for years. Have asked repeatedly for then to remove me from their list, and even tried phoning, but they seem to be so incompetent they can t remove me or even follow up, and there is no unsubscribe link. So frustrating.
Shame on you motor traders association. You are as good as useless in properting the public from shonks like Bevan Clayton.
I tried contacting you to report the problems and left at least 3 voice messages, however no one bothered to call back 3 weeks later.
You are useless and I hope you get closed down.
