Coldwell Banker UAE Review

Very bad experience with one of the agent named Emi. I paid AED 3,000 commission and didn't get any support from her. As a tenant my experience with this agency is horrible. The contract documentation was wrong, which I had clarified with her before itself but she lied as she herself was not knowledgeable. Then she gave me the Owner's Power of Attorney's number and asked me to liaise with him to get the correct documents. I had to do all the coordination with the Owner's POA to get the necessary documentation done. When I moved to house there was no cleaning, AC was not working and when I contacted her, she simply put the blame on the owner. After that she stopped picking my calls and to my watsapp messages, just replied it is not her job. Good, the Owner's POA is a nice man and helped in all documentation and flat related issues. Biggest unprofessionalism is when I call their office, the person who picks call never connect me to a senior staff as I am complaining about her friend. I tried reaching to senior staff but never got a call back from them. They have not even given final contract (signed) to me. I had to do all of these at my own. And all clearance for AC, DEWA etc. I had to collect myself from the owner. I paid AED 3,000 just to see their advertisement in dubizzle. I felt like cheated and robbed by this unprofessional agency and their highly unprofessional staff, Emi.

As someone who is an oversees client, I was struggling to find a tenant and to understand local regulations/processes. I engaged Masuma to help me rent out the apartment. Key areas where I found her services to be exceptional were: identifying the right type of client, negotiating a reasonable rental in unfavorable market conditions, being thorough in ensuring all documentation was in order, and closing the deal and securing all rental checks for me. Her communication and responsiveness is excellent and I would highly recommend her.

I was going through some apartments from few months & in my search I met Mr. Hasan Elbadawy. Because of this person (who is now very good friend of mine) I m able to make our dream comes true & now I m the owner of 2 Bedroom Flat in JLT.
I was stuck in all the steps from banking till move in to new house, several reasons were Covid-19 issue in market, Mortgage issue, then DLD issues, Service Provider issues, etc, etc. But in every problem Mr. Hassan was with me to help & guide.

They are really the best choice , I see a lot of agency but when I contact with musam she help me a lot and finely I found my amazing apartment because of her help and she is really having good communication

Coldwell banker is a renown company but there biggest mistakes to date was to employ a leasing agent who goes by the name of Zeeshan Ali.
The most incompetent and unprofessional agent i have ever come across, does not show up to viewings, refuses to help tenants negotiate terms, bully's and belittles his clients if they even question what he is saying by raising his voice and shouting. If you ask him for his RERA card he will refuse to show it which made me question his legitimacy.

In the end i refused to sign the contract with Zeeshan Ali, even though me and my wife really loved the apartment at the time.
Eventually signing a better deal elsewhere with a really nice agent who we happily gave commission too as well as taking him out for a nice meal for all his efforts.

My advice is to stay away from the recently advertised apt on Property Finder in MOTOR CITY- Shakespeare Circus 1( 1 Bedroom Apartment|Fully Furnished|Shakespeare Circus 1).

My past experience with the landlord was the worst, starting with manipulations and going through disrespect, false promises and ending by stealing the whole security deposit while running away- literally- with all the cleared final bills, while the apt was in a perfect condition.
Even the agency felt sorry for me and tried to solve the case but he wasn't answering calls from the agency, so they decided to stop dealing with him and removed the apartment ad instantly.

RERA promised me that 100% of my security deposit will be back, but unfortunately I was leaving UAE for good and I had to attend the court hearings in person which I couldn't do.

The broker responsible for this apt in Coldwell Banker felt sorry for that incident when I contacted her, BUT...!
