This bootcamp promises a lot but doesn't deliver. Notice how there are no former students commenting that they got jobs. I actually only read 1 comment here that was an actual student, the rest either work there or attended an orientation. I was in the Front End Dev course and most of us didn't get jobs. Neither did the previous grads who took our same class and students in the other classes. Shortly after we graduated the CEO told everyone they were no longer offering guaranteed refunds if you didn't get a job offer within 9 months. Hmmmm When interviewing with companies(most didn't respond to resumes, so the few that did), were not impressed with code fellows, it meant nothing to them. The main point of going to a coding bootcamp is to get a job. Well turns out their "Get a coding job by completing our course", is very untrue for the majority of the students(their website posts false statistics on the number of grads). What does happen is you pay them at least 12k (if you test into the highest course and start there right away, like I did) for about 3 months of learning and afterwards go to a real college, where employers then take where you went to school seriously. For me and most of the students here, it has been a colossal waste of money and time. Seems more like a scam to me.

Went to a code workshop, as a white male I definitely didn't fell welcome. Then to top it off they post this ad that shows up in my google feed "It's not just for the white, the male, the wealthy, the privileged, the college-educated".
