Camera Corner/Connecting Point

Needed to rent some equipment for some Astrophotography. Camera Corner seems like the only place in the area that rents out equipment. If you're looking to rent any thing in the caliber of a Canon 5D Mark III/IV, or any L Lenses, you wont find them to rent here. The only selection they have for lenses is really just Tamron and lower grade Full-Frame cameras. Overall, decent website with an easy-to-use booking system for renting equipment. Would've paid more money to rent a Canon L telephoto/Zoom telephoto though.

Couldn't get through on the phone so I drove to their location. You would think after decades of selling film camera they would have the ability to help with film, but no. Very dissapointed to see workers chatting and killing around and I couldn't get through on the telephone. I give them 3 stars because they have a good mask policy.

Great Service! This place is great. I was in Green Bay on business for one day. I forgot the power cord for my laptop at home. Halfway through my day the laptop ran out of power. The people at Camera Corner were nice enough to let me use a compatible power cord for the rest of the day. They could not find a compatible cord at first but kept looking and kept searching until they found a cord that was compatible. I was able to complete my work thanks to them. Camera Corner saved the Day! Really great customer service. I recommend them strongly.

I took another class here last weekend. They are always lots of fun and a great opportunity to learn. Being a beginner the photography thong is intimidating. They always have lots of patience. Rick has been very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that classes are not offeref very often.

If you use Connecting Point, it would be in your best interest to get a second opinion and double check everything that is licensed and or sold by them. Considering most IT companies will give you a free consultation it would be a good idea to run any of their proposals through them, chances are you will switch too.

Took my bosses computer in and the service was exceptional!! We were there early in the morning and the owner was just coming in and took care of us right away! Super friendly!! We will be back!!

Be prepared to be delighted by a knowledgeable sales and service staff. As far as I am concerned this is the only place you would buy high end electronics and camera equipment. What s better is that they service what they sell.

They help me get a replacement phone same kind I had just updated to a bigger size for an older phone.

Authorized Apple repair center that won't sell you a cable for your apple product even though they have it in Stock. What a joke!

Way more than cameras! This place has everything from professional audio equipment to televisions to electronics accessories. And bunches of other random stuff. And the staff are fantastic; they seem very capable and professional, and give well-informed recommendations and advice. Actually, I ordered a studio microphone online for pickup from Camera Corner, and the guy actually stayed late and kept the store open for me while I came and picked it up. I was blown away by the customer service.

I've taken classes as well as photo workshops and they were extremely helpful. The knowledgable instructers answered my questions with clarity and patience. Prices for cameras, lenses, and accessories are reasonably priced and the staff is very helpful. This is my 'go to' store.

I came in today (Saturday) frustrated and confused after competing an update on my Mac last night, to find that every internet site that I tried to open, would not pull up. I, too, like the rest of the world rely heavily on my technology to complete my job. (I'm a teacher.) I came in, entered Camera Corner, here in Green Bay, to find the most pleasant, kind, and helpful people in this establishment. Every time I have come for help, I have received not only knowledgeable employees, but down to earth, and kind as well. In today's society, that is often difficult to find. I just got off the phone with John and he walked me through issues with my Mac at no charge. After 25 minutes on the phone all my problems were solved and I had a very extensive education about uninstalling programs and what to look for/be cautious of/ avoid. Incredibly helpful and nice. If I need a tech for my laptop I will specifically ask for him!

Called to see if my iPhone X could be fixed or if I could get any help since only 6 months old . ( I was on vacation and took picture or tried I should say under 6 inches of water and went black). Lady on phone before I could ask her anything else about even maybe getting fixed didn t even discuss anything. She told me it is pointless because Apple won t cover water damage. So I said well then sounds like you made up your mind , so sounds like no point of going there . She said do u have Apple care, I said no , she then said yes then pointless. I m hoping maybe she just having off day , otherwise this says a lot about store.

QUESTION: How can this place be open? ANSWER: Green Bay is dumb and does not seem to know about the internet. So people overpay for subpar services and product...if it's even available. This is the Los Banditos of tech.

I needed a cassette tape deck repaired and Roger did a fantastic job in short time. I also needed a reel-to-reel deck serviced and when I got it back , it worked like it did brand new. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Went in for help with a problem with a new phone, was given the 1 800 number to Verizon. Lazy people.

This is definitely the place to go in Green Bay for computers and cameras- great selection, and the best part is a trustworthy, friendly and knowledgeable staff- I have always been very happy with recommended equipment tailored to my needs. Classes have also been very helpful- Kevin does a great job and is very patient with questions. Service has always been timely and well done- I have had minor printer problems fixed, new computer set up with old computer information, and home WiFi setup- all has gone well. Jeff has been very helpful and knowledgeable in Apple products- have purchased my old Mac, new Mac air recently, and an iPad and wireless printers. Wouldn t think of going anywhere else, most service is on site, and customer care is wonderful!

Good local store. Very knowledgeable staff. But was able to find a deal online for 2 rechargeable (not off brand) camera batteries, including the charger, for less than half the asking price of their battery. I have a budget I needed to stick to. I will return for other camera and electronic needs

I just discovered this place not to long ago. They have a very nice selection of equipment and you can rent some lenses out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will be going here more often.

Probably the best camera store in the area if you're interested in photography. Wish they didn't devote so much floor space to Apple products though. Somewhat pricey.

It took me 10 minutes to get a hold of anyone, and when I finally did get a hold of someone on the phone they informed me that they don t have camera stabilizers or gimbals of any type. We haven t got into that yet What kind of camera store doesn t have a gimbal or stabilizer?

I was struggling to capture decent video off one of my DV tapes. I called Camera Corner and Steve advised me to bring it in. He was able to capture an important tape that I was not able to capture. Apparently he tried first on one of their tape decks and found the results to be less than perfect, so he tried it on another deck and got great results. Thank you Steve for going the extra mile!

Eric the staff member failed to provide all information when I was in last. Had to really ask a lot of dumb, simple questions to get clarification. Just seemed like a really shady guy to be working with. Local businesses should probably try to excel in customer service to beat chain store prices. Missed opportunity! Eric you re mega weird bud!

I called them to schedule an appointment to fix my iPhone because I had contacted apple and apple support had said my phone will need to be repaired. Camera Corner told me to just turn it on and back off again. That solved the problem for a week and then the same issue happened and they told me the same response. I thought it was rude and showed that they are not truly there to help.

BAD BAD BAD!!!!!see the fancy building as u walk in.. thats what u pay for when u get your computer repaired! its not complicated work doing pc repairs and these people make it sound like it is with their pricing!! maybe to their technicians its complicated.. and thats why they are middle aged working at a computer repair store, rather than having a real IT job LOL im 16 and i was here and i felt i knew more about IT.. i was talking to them about my home lab and they knew nothing about servers and virtualization!! you can easily find people on craigslist that will do flat rate pc repairs at 1/5 of what u would pay for these guys.. dont think it requires a highly trained professional to fix your computer.. because most technicians who do this work dont have formal schooling, if they did they would have a real job making a real salary not working in a computer shop for $15 an hour lol

I just want to give a shout out to Bill and the repair staff at CCCP. Bill quickly diagnosed the issue with my ancient laptop, and kindly and generously provided a wonderful solution for me! My family thanks you for helping us so quickly; we'll be back and will be sharing this great review with others.

Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were able to recover pictures from an SD card. Price seemed very reasonable. They even put on a movie to keep my daughter entertained while we waited.

Bought a camera from Bill. Fantastic service. Also had some reprints made which required some editing. Bill and one of the ladies behind the desk did an awesome job. 5 stars.

My portable hard drive is inches from death and I got two phone calls promptly when contacting Stewart at Camera Corner. He had a colleague who works in this area follow-up with me to let me know they could do some work but it would be best in my situation to send my drive off to Gillware in Madison. I had a hunch this was where I should go but was relieved Camera Corner was up front and didn't take my business and damage my hard drive further by trying to recover data beyond the scope of their expertise. Stewart also followed up afterwards to make sure I was taken care of. This is not the first time I've worked with Camera Corner and will return again because I know I can trust them to provide honest guidance.

Great store that I love sharing my business with. They have a great in-stock selection of cameras, lenses and all the supporting equipment. They are always very helpful people and have great customer service. I usually work with Steve and he is always top notch. I have a small photography business and source the majority of my equipment from here.

Mr Chernick and his father were the ones that introduced PC Computing for me back in 1984. Their committment to excellence is only superseded by the professional technology staff and their ability to service anything. I can guarantee that if you having issues with your computer, macintosh, camera, projector, television... you will be hard-pressed to find a better place to help with both your purchase and service. Wonderful customer service and very well maintained store. Great selection of electronic accessories for computers, phones, and more! Took my laptop in for a small repair and it was fixed in a day. Definitely coming back here again for anything computer related.

Called checking on trading my Nikon D5600 with Tamron 18 - 400 lense for a Nikon Z6 mirrorless with a Tamron 18 - 400 lense. Steve was very helpful informed me that only a Tamron 100 - 400 would fit unless I used an adapter. Then when viewing there would be a red box in viewfinder. He was very knowledgeable about cameras, helpful and honest. Would recommend this place for your camera needs. Thank you Steve!

Prices aren't great, some staff isn't very knowledgeable about what they are trying to sell.
